Sean Wotherspoon x Atmos x Asics Gel-Lyte III "Multi": Review & On-Feet

- One of the more anticipated Asics releases of the year, to celebrate the model's 30th anniversary and Atmos' 20th anniversary, together with Sean Wotherspoon they collaborated together on a Gel-Lyte III which finally landed in Canada last week. Featuring mismatching pairs representing LA and Tokyo respectively, these utilize a corduroy upper and interchangeable Velcro Asics vector logos for a truly unique look. Only shoe I wanted this year so far and I'm so glad I got them. Such a cool pair.
A small bit you missed Sean is that the color swatches represent their respective areas: LA has the more ‘playful’ palette to reflect a California Sunset/Coast vibe while the Atmos/Tokyo shoe reflects the city at night with the ‘defaulted’ red vector being Tokyo Tower illuminated amongst the skyline 🤙🏽
I copped a pair and I really dig this collab. I’m gonna keep my pair and rock them.
I paid resell and don’t regret the extra $300. Quality is 👌! EDIT: If you burn the heel tabs, the SW logo appears.

How do they fit ? Tts or 0.5 up? Im usually a 11 straight in Nikes and 11.5 in Yeezys . Should I go for an 11 or 11.5 ? Lmk 🙏🏼 ( IG: @feruxwho )
Matteo Ferullo Go for an 11. It’s true to size. The Gel Lyte III’s iconic split tongue is useful too, allowing a teeny bit more room if you have a slightly wide foot. For those with wide feet go up a half size to be safe.

on sizing - Despite what you say, your feet must be more on the narrow end than wide - I copped my
first pair of Gel Lyte IIIs a couple years back with the Atmos Asics World Map. Did my homework and all testimony pointed .5 up. Glad I did because if I went TTS, I’d def be up the creek with my toes def crammed in the toe box. So I personally would advise people in going .5 up vs taking a chance on tts unless their feet are truly narrow.
Aside from that, hearing Livestock CA has anti bot tech makes me yearn for US boutique stores getting on the same boat, going beyond the basic captcha that seems pretty easy to bust these days. Glad you copped a W tho in order to share with us viewers 🤙🏽
Thats mad as most 2020 gel lyte III's fit a 1/2 bigger than older models...

@@maelauniamaya I personally went a 1/2 size down. The newer 2020 shape GL3's to me fit big.

@@maelauniamaya You're welcome (Y) have you worn any GL3's before? I would probably advise trying a pair on in store (if thats possible) I have 3 newer GL3's (Kobe, End. & Atmos/SW) & they all fit 1/2 big. Hope that helps!

Dood, the Koi colab in both red and orange colorways are 🔥🔥🔥 The wasabi ones as well as the Fieg Homage colab are must grabs too IMHO

I like the shoe but I wish they didnt look like 2 different pairs of shoes. I would like to have seen each side release as their own pair. The blue and orange one is so much doper!

LA one does look better, but also, at that point, I just want the salmon toe. Now those are the real grails.

With my luck, resellers are gonna charge an arm, a leg, and 1 testicle to throw in for good measure since of course, these sold out everywhere. They most likely don’t even care about the shoe itself.

I’m a fan of ASICS. But honestly I didn’t like these. I’m not a fan of miss matched shoes nor vibrant colors.

I like the shoes bc theyre unique but at the same time, sean wotherspoon almost seems like a one-trick. Those upcoming adidas are underwhelming. I actually love ronnie fiegs asics more.
