I loved just before Legion sacrificed himself, he referred to himself as a single entity. In giving his own life, Legion allowed the Geth to be free. Wish we got more of him in Mass Effect 2 and 3
The paragon or renegade choice to save the Geth and Quarians is actually one of the hardest checks to pass in the series. It relies on alot of choices done in ME2 as well as the normal ones done in ME3. The game never tells you that but it’s a hard one to have access to for sure.
I believe one of the biggest ones is having both tali and koris alive. So doing the mission to save koris is a big bonus to being able to save both else you would have had to pick
@@robertmartens9072 Partially incorrect therefore allow me to clarify. - You must have AT LEAST 4 bars of reputation. Either Paragon or Renegade. - Tali AND Legion both must be present. If either one is missing for whatever reason you'll fail. Therefore this requires and imported save from ME2 because a default save will have had Tali exiled in ME2 and therefore she doesn't have the authority of an Admiral. Also Legion will be absent and replaced by the Geth VI. - The mission Rannoch: Geth Fighter Squadrons MUST be completed. IF you've passed these checks the game also has a secondary hidden checklist that works with a point value system and requires you to have at least 5 out of 7 points. It is basically used to determin if the Quarians find Shepard trustworthy enough to listen to him/her. - You'll get +2 points if you Destroy the Geth Heretics in ME2 - You'll get +2 points if prevent Tali's exile WITHOUT presenting evidence of her father's experiments in ME2 - You'll get +1 point if you had Tali and Legion make peace during their argument in ME2. - You'll get +1 point if you've completed the mission Rannoch: Admiral Koris - You'll get +1 point if you've saved Admiral Koris.

Was also being foreshadowed in the first cutscene in the dropship on the way to Rannoch, Legion hangs his head and calls his matter is a 'personal' one

I still remember my first playthrough in 2012; i'd made a few mistakes (also missed doing Legions loyalty mission in ME2) it meant that when it came to the final decision I didn't have the reputation to Rally or Warn the fleets. The result was tragic to say the least. Maybe after your playthrough is done you could look up some vids about just how badly some of these mission can go?

The renegade option for peace basically has Shepard tell the Quarians "The Geth are about to return to full strength and I'm not going to stop them. I'm done carrying your asses in this war. Cease fire or die. The choice is yours." It still has Shepard saying "Keelah se'lai" though and it really doesn't fit with the rest of what they said lol
The voice acting is uniformly EXCELLENT. Every single actor brought their "A" game - especially D.C. Douglas, who must thread that verrrrrry fine line between "robot" and "person." Kudos!
The "Why me?" conversation with Hackett is one of my favs in the game! "You can pay a soldier to fire a gun, you can pay him to charge the enemy and take a hill... But you can't pay him to believe." Love love love that!! That's the core of Shepard in this series, no matter if you're pure paragon angel, off-the-wall renegade or somewhere in between, people will always follow Shep cos they believe they'll get it done 💕
Why make peace with the Geth and Quarians, when you can wipe out both and claim a new planet for humanity! But in all seriousness, I never side with the quarians, Geth all the way.
I’ve never seen anyone choose kill the Geth on that first choice. Especially after seeing what the Quariens what they did to the Geth. First time I played this, I picked the Geth and I didn’t have enough reputation for either paragon or renegade choices. Yeah. I am permanently scarred by that result. I make sure all other play throughs I have enough reputation before this one.
I enjoyed the early bit of the mission where you were running with just a pistol. 200% Power Recharge Bonus is pretty nice! Charge -> Charge -> Charge -> Charge! Never Nova. Just need a shotgun! I only played through the entirety of ME3 once myself, but I already knew about the 'optimal outcome' of this mission ahead of time. I didn't know you could still get the perfect ending if you initially decide to let all the Geth die. I guess that first decision is just a great big fake! Also, I loved both the Asari mission and the Dr. Bryson mission. I think about now is a pretty good time to do the Dr. Bryson thing. But either is good at this point.
I imagine the first choice is no so much a "fake" as the SECOND choice giving you a chance to change your mind. Charge -> Piranha -> Charge -> Piranha . . . yup! That's me until I can max out the Venom. Oh : the Piranha is even more *lethal* in ME:ANDROMEDA, where you can build one with _ricochet_ and _bio_ _converter_ for true maximum BOOM!
@@vincelang3779 It's been so long since I played Andromeda, I don't even remember what sort of build/class I played. I think I deployed drones or something? Definitely didn't try the Vanguard archetype in Andromeda. I tried the Venom a little bit, but I ended up using the Pirahna for pretty much the entire game.
The targeting system does _slightly_ lose lock when you have to disengage and dodge the Reaper laser, but it's slow enough that you can reacquire lock quickly. Being forced to pick either the Geth or the Quarians has some of the most emotional cutscenes in the series. There's a touching bit of dialgue from Garrus if you picked the former... You can only see Tali's face if you romanced her, unfortunately. There's actually 2 versions of her "face reveal," depending on whether you're playing the original game or Legendary Edition.
1:05:40 If until ME3 it didn't matter whether you saved Kaidan or Ashley on Virmire; they had virtually the same dialogue. But in 3, I guess the writers decided Kaidan was the correct answer. If you bring Ash back to the Normandy, she never leaves her room, unlike Kaidan. She has an interaction with James, but you only see the aftermath. She and James hint at a romance during the Shore Leave DLC, but that it. There could be more if with a Male Shepard, but I don't know.
I guess they hardly show up in ME2 so not much difference to be had there? That’s a shame that Ashley doesn’t move around the ship as much as Kaidan though! I love that about ME3.
I love the gameplay so much thank you Lucy! The great story aside here I think this is one of the best Shepard moments too with the decision to take down the reaper.
I'm honestly curious what made you think that allowing Legion to upload the code would only destroy the Quarians under Admiral Gerrels command. Or is that what the Twitch chat told you haha?
My Twitch chat went into 'emote only' mode for this scene. It's been said that the Geth will only attack as a means of defense, so I think it's understandable to think they would only attack those under Gerrel's command, considering he's the only one still wanting to go ahead with the war. On a first play through and in the heat of the moment, it's impossible to know exactly what will happen, so I just question everything.
The initial choice in favour of Quarians is unfathomably B A S E D. Legion just pulls this insta-patch out of his pocket and somehow the option of retreating for Geth isn't even a thing on anyone's mind. It's gotta be uploaded now or never. Jeez, what happened to "Geth don't need planets, we build our server hubs outside of solar systems, Rannoch is just a garden that we're taking care of" and other features of Geth we were told by Legion in ME2?
The big issue is that it is implied the geth took a massive hit when the reaper went down. Essentially like they lost wifi plus it is likely that they had split up more than normal due to the upgrades so going back to default geth they likely had less programs running on each unit
Does this unit have a soul? No. Not just because you are a line of computer code, but because you were willing to kill everyone on Rannoch if you didn't get to keep the Reaper code. Only the soulless would do something so evil.
@@lucyjrobyn Yep, almost everything in this quest is outstanding, from the beginning to the end. Everytime I play or watch someone playing this quest, I remember why I absolutely love this game😍 And the voice of the reaper... one of the best voice ever... Even better than Sovereign in ME1 😀
I watched this live as well but its fun to watch it again. Not as much fun as watching live though because you get to see lucy sweat and have a crisis trying to decide what options to pick.
I've read a lot of books, articles, and TED talks about leadership - Hackett's words about not being able to pay a soldier to believe are up there with some of the best quotes I've ever heard. The greatest leaders don't inspire through fear, through money, or even through duty - they lead through inspiring true belief.
After all these years after playing the game countless times after knowing almost all the dialogue options this game still hits me. The feeling i get from even watching this game, i don't get it from any other game.
This is probably my 3rd favorite mission next to curing the Genophage, and you should be getting my favorite mission pretty soon. Lucy, Lucy, Lucy my dear... You did a really great job making it through all the Geth, but you made things much harder on yourself than it needed to be. I think you forgot that ME3 gives you heavy weapons when it thinks you'll need the extra firepower, but you can't keep them - that Spitfire makes taking down those Primes so much easier. And then at the beginning of the mission, you finally got the best shotgun in the game and you switched back to your crummy Scimitar. And finally, if you insist on dragging your boyfriend along all the time, at least make him use his most useful power, which is Overload, because it kills shields much faster than shooting them does. You really did manage that chaotic fight brilliantly but you sure made it stressful to watch
On Insanity difficulty, the lock-on time for the Geth Plasma starts to work against you in the second half of the game. That's when I switch to either the Piranha or the Venom. Nice thing about the Venom is you can fire in right into Liara's Singularity for TRULY spectacular booms! Or shoot it on enemies being Reaved by Javik. Or on those damm turrets, if you time it with Edi's hacking abilities. Too many choices to list, really! 🤣 One thing that is missing for ANDROMEDA, actually, is the ability to really control the battlefield. The combat is superior in every way but I do miss the ability to pause and issue specific squadmate orders. And the og trilogy lets you combine FOUR things at once : 3 powers + specialized ammo. I just can't imagine doing the last mission on Insanity difficulty (where you babysit the Th* * * c* * * *) without some very specific 4x combos. The three Primes on Rannoch were BRUTAL first time I played the game. The Spitfires were utterly useless since you can't use them from cover : it's one of 2 times I had to lower the game difficulty! . . .
49:40 man Bioware really stole from us a moment to see Tali's face 50:28 when you do the next Priority mission, it is reccomened to Bring Laira and Javik. 55:00 the more you scan the solar systems the more that fills up, but you do get alot of credits along the way. 1:04:28 so that means in Mass Effect 4 (when ever it releases) we may get to see what Quarians look like without there suits, for once.
Mass Effect 3 is a pure epic) from the very beginning) You really can see that everything is serius here) Except for...well, we will not speak about it now)
I think you might be misusing the 'Sabotage' tactic. After you hack the unit, let it live and even protect it because it becomes an ally until the hacking wears off. 27:40 If only you had that gun at the beginning of the fight.
The Geth vs Quarian decision is always a tough one - and not sure they reflect the shown renegade/paragon choices. It's so much harder than than the Krogan/Salarian decision which whilst having the similar sad outcomes, is an easy decision for the vast majority of players. RIP Legion.
Priority: Rannoch is my least favorite main mission in ME3 when it comes to writing. Everything about Priority: Tuchanka is awesome! In comparison Rannoch feels rushed and corny. I don't remember if I felt that way when I first played it, I was probably to busy loving my time with ME3 :-) But yeah... I think I always found the conclusion of Rannoch lackluster... Greatly enjoy this playthrough so far btw! 😀

You kept mentioning 'a lot of the Quarians' and 'the Quarians with Garel'. It wasn't 'a lot' of them, it was 'virtually the totality of the entire Quarian species'. If you hadn't had the Paragon or Renegade options available, your choice WOULD Have doomed entire Geth race save for a handful of stragglers under Reaper domination, or alternately, uploading would have led to the absolute genocide of the Quarian people.
i dont think your heart can take it if you knew what the other outcome could be if the quarians had kept attacking. you could make a reaction video for all the other outcomes for the Major Priority missions, 9:15 eh your find, Vanguards dont need weapon, they are the weapon.
Reapers getting tanked is always a welcome sight, so damn cool. I was pumped when I did this mission. I'm glad you got the best option for the Quarian/Geth war. Also, if you didn't already know, the Geth's head is similar in design to the mouthpiece of the Quarian helmets, they respected the Quarians, even during the wars. Going in with+200% power cooldown basically makes you a biotic god, and not the Volus kind😂😂😂😂
Man... Jondum Bau does not deserve to be forgotten like that :p. Especially when you remember Balak :p. Edit: People that don't feel pain at the end of this mission are closed minded fools imo. Edit2: Since you tend to bring Kaiden with you; Overload destroys shields like a hot knife through butter. Incendiary rounds Shotgun is likely your best weapon on Armor (yellow health), and is honestly probably the best weapon for normal health (Charge-Nova also being more than acceptable). I suggest going to the Spectre office and trying all of your SMGs... rapid-fire weapons tend to be good at shields which is your weakest combat point as a Vanguard, and while all guns *are* usable Shuriken is probably one of the worst SMGs statistically speaking. Oh and don't forget to put the power enhancer on pistol and SMG to make all your powers better while one is in hand. Edit 3: You were a little off on your thought process for the Geth V Quarian. ALL the Quarians (except Tali) were up there fighting the Geth at that point. While Gerel's fleet is the one that is least likely to retreat the entire race would be taking shots until then. Also telling Legion you trust it is essentially telling it you believe he is alive and has a soul... because you have placed your trust in it and the future it has proposed. Edit 4: Yeah it's almost impossible to not have enough reputation in ME3 if you transferred a Shepard through the trilogy. Maybe not enough to have both Renegade *AND* Paragon options but one of them? I don't think I've ever seen both being greyed out.
If you didn't have enough renegade/paragon points you wouldn't have had access to the rally/warn options and you would have had to choose quarians or geth. If you have a mind to perhaps look up a video about the outcome If you side with the Geth. It is ...troubling. Only if you won't choose this path in a future playthru of course
Well now, you've just invented a new challenge, Lvl1 predator pistol only run. Not so hard for a vanguard though. The good thing about having only a pistol is, max power cooldown bonus. If you have super short cooldown you can pull, then charge for a big biotic explosion. The good thing about the geth quarian conflict is that you can renegade or paragon them to peace. Though psycho Shepard would probably...I dunno let the quarians die because they caused the whole damned mess? Robots are so much more logical and predictable, exactly what a psycho wants...errr...I assume.
That was my challenge run for the entire game when LE came out, but I took it to the extreme: I changed stats of all 5 default weapons (Predator, Avenger, Mantis, Katana and Shuriken) and also N7 Hurricane SMG(best weapon to apply ammo effect on enemies) so they would deal 1% of their vanilla damage. That leaves only powers, melee and special ammo effects the only source of damage. Difficulty was obviously set to insanity. I tried sentinel at first but very soon found out that "decent in everything = excellent in nothing". PC gaming be blessed, I changed my class to adept on the go, and that changed everything. I detonated biotic combos every couple of seconds, armored enemies just melted. I was kinda concerned about Rannoch arch but fortunately it's quite late in the game and I was lvl 55 when I boarded Geth dreadnought. AAA challenges was the hardest part, as expected. Especially the final one, spent about an hour trying to beat it, but eventually succeeded. That was one of the strongest feelings of accomplishment I've ever experienced in gaming)
@@dimbasz Engineer is for sure the easiest class to do a no guns run through for ME2 and 3. Drones, overload and incinerate are OP. Take a biotic with you and barriers present no difficulty. The sound with a cryoblast+warp combo in ME3 is such satisfying ASMR.

Lucy, it seems like the fundamental problem is that you're trying to play Paragon because you've always wanted to be a good person, because you are a good person, but in this game it doesn't fit your beliefs. When you chose to keep the quarians under Gerrel's command, sacrificing all the geth, just because Tali is your friend, it was definitely a selfish choice. And it's a perfect example of a Renegade choice, who sacrificing many for the sake of one. It doesn't matter at all that that one is not Shepard himself, but a quarian close to him. It also doesn't matter that the geth are not organic, and their worldview is different from ours - if it mattered, it would be racism in its worst form. Perhaps it would have been easier for you to play Renegade from the very beginning, because it seems to me more than once that the "red" approach is closer to you. As a grateful viewer who has been enjoying your ME streams since the beginning, I will say that I enjoyed watching it more when you did not try to determine the "type" of a line by its position on the screen, and each time made a choice with your heart without any metagaming. No offence. And thank you one more time.
Glad you’ve been enjoying the series! I’ve never tried to define my Shep as strictly Paragon or Renegade, she’s definitely a Ruthless blend of the two. I am going to try stop thinking about the positioning of the dialogue options more though.
I loved the games so much but if I had to pick something out that just felt not right and absolutely uncalled for it would be Legion's death. Why? This was just so unnecessary. The developers could have easily taken another path here. This was nothing but putting another lost friend burden upon our shoulders and a senseless one too.

The targeting system does _slightly_ lose lock when you have to disengage and dodge the Reaper laser, but it's slow enough that you can reacquire lock quickly.
Being forced to pick either the Geth or the Quarians has some of the most emotional cutscenes in the series. There's a touching bit of dialgue from Garrus if you picked the former...
You can only see Tali's face if you romanced her, unfortunately. There's actually 2 versions of her "face reveal," depending on whether you're playing the original game or Legendary Edition.
1:05:40 If until ME3 it didn't matter whether you saved Kaidan or Ashley on Virmire; they had virtually the same dialogue. But in 3, I guess the writers decided Kaidan was the correct answer. If you bring Ash back to the Normandy, she never leaves her room, unlike Kaidan. She has an interaction with James, but you only see the aftermath. She and James hint at a romance during the Shore Leave DLC, but that it. There could be more if with a Male Shepard, but I don't know.
I guess they hardly show up in ME2 so not much difference to be had there? That’s a shame that Ashley doesn’t move around the ship as much as Kaidan though! I love that about ME3.
Ashley had a different writer in the 3rd game.
I love the gameplay so much thank you Lucy! The great story aside here I think this is one of the best Shepard moments too with the decision to take down the reaper.

I'm honestly curious what made you think that allowing Legion to upload the code would only destroy the Quarians under Admiral Gerrels command. Or is that what the Twitch chat told you haha?
My Twitch chat went into 'emote only' mode for this scene. It's been said that the Geth will only attack as a means of defense, so I think it's understandable to think they would only attack those under Gerrel's command, considering he's the only one still wanting to go ahead with the war. On a first play through and in the heat of the moment, it's impossible to know exactly what will happen, so I just question everything.
The initial choice in favour of Quarians is unfathomably B A S E D. Legion just pulls this insta-patch out of his pocket and somehow the option of retreating for Geth isn't even a thing on anyone's mind. It's gotta be uploaded now or never. Jeez, what happened to "Geth don't need planets, we build our server hubs outside of solar systems, Rannoch is just a garden that we're taking care of" and other features of Geth we were told by Legion in ME2?

The big issue is that it is implied the geth took a massive hit when the reaper went down. Essentially like they lost wifi plus it is likely that they had split up more than normal due to the upgrades so going back to default geth they likely had less programs running on each unit
Does this unit have a soul? No. Not just because you are a line of computer code, but because you were willing to kill everyone on Rannoch if you didn't get to keep the Reaper code. Only the soulless would do something so evil.

This is probably my 3rd favorite mission next to curing the Genophage, and you should be getting my favorite mission pretty soon.
Lucy, Lucy, Lucy my dear... You did a really great job making it through all the Geth, but you made things much harder on yourself than it needed to be. I think you forgot that ME3 gives you heavy weapons when it thinks you'll need the extra firepower, but you can't keep them - that Spitfire makes taking down those Primes so much easier. And then at the beginning of the mission, you finally got the best shotgun in the game and you switched back to your crummy Scimitar. And finally, if you insist on dragging your boyfriend along all the time, at least make him use his most useful power, which is Overload, because it kills shields much faster than shooting them does. You really did manage that chaotic fight brilliantly but you sure made it stressful to watch

On Insanity difficulty, the lock-on time for the Geth Plasma starts to work against you in the second half of the game. That's when I switch to either the Piranha or the Venom. Nice thing about the Venom is you can fire in right into Liara's Singularity for TRULY spectacular booms! Or shoot it on enemies being Reaved by Javik. Or on those damm turrets, if you time it with Edi's hacking abilities. Too many choices to list, really! 🤣
One thing that is missing for ANDROMEDA, actually, is the ability to really control the battlefield. The combat is superior in every way but I do miss the ability to pause and issue specific squadmate orders. And the og trilogy lets you combine FOUR things at once : 3 powers + specialized ammo. I just can't imagine doing the last mission on Insanity difficulty (where you babysit the Th* * * c* * * *) without some very specific 4x combos.
The three Primes on Rannoch were BRUTAL first time I played the game. The Spitfires were utterly useless since you can't use them from cover : it's one of 2 times I had to lower the game difficulty! . . .

50:28 when you do the next Priority mission, it is reccomened to Bring Laira and Javik.
55:00 the more you scan the solar systems the more that fills up, but you do get alot of credits along the way.
1:04:28 so that means in Mass Effect 4 (when ever it releases) we may get to see what Quarians look like without there suits, for once.

I think you might be misusing the 'Sabotage' tactic. After you hack the unit, let it live and even protect it because it becomes an ally until the hacking wears off.

The Geth vs Quarian decision is always a tough one - and not sure they reflect the shown renegade/paragon choices. It's so much harder than than the Krogan/Salarian decision which whilst having the similar sad outcomes, is an easy decision for the vast majority of players. RIP Legion.
Agreed, it felt like picking between two awful options :( so glad I was able to rally the fleet in the end!
Priority: Rannoch is my least favorite main mission in ME3 when it comes to writing. Everything about Priority: Tuchanka is awesome! In comparison Rannoch feels rushed and corny. I don't remember if I felt that way when I first played it, I was probably to busy loving my time with ME3 :-) But yeah... I think I always found the conclusion of Rannoch lackluster... Greatly enjoy this playthrough so far btw! 😀

You kept mentioning 'a lot of the Quarians' and 'the Quarians with Garel'. It wasn't 'a lot' of them, it was 'virtually the totality of the entire Quarian species'. If you hadn't had the Paragon or Renegade options available, your choice WOULD Have doomed entire Geth race save for a handful of stragglers under Reaper domination, or alternately, uploading would have led to the absolute genocide of the Quarian people.

I was pumped when I did this mission. I'm glad you got the best option for the Quarian/Geth war.
Also, if you didn't already know, the Geth's head is similar in design to the mouthpiece of the Quarian helmets, they respected the Quarians, even during the wars.
Going in with+200% power cooldown basically makes you a biotic god, and not the Volus kind😂😂😂😂

Edit: People that don't feel pain at the end of this mission are closed minded fools imo.
Edit2: Since you tend to bring Kaiden with you; Overload destroys shields like a hot knife through butter. Incendiary rounds Shotgun is likely your best weapon on Armor (yellow health), and is honestly probably the best weapon for normal health (Charge-Nova also being more than acceptable). I suggest going to the Spectre office and trying all of your SMGs... rapid-fire weapons tend to be good at shields which is your weakest combat point as a Vanguard, and while all guns *are* usable Shuriken is probably one of the worst SMGs statistically speaking. Oh and don't forget to put the power enhancer on pistol and SMG to make all your powers better while one is in hand.
Edit 3: You were a little off on your thought process for the Geth V Quarian. ALL the Quarians (except Tali) were up there fighting the Geth at that point. While Gerel's fleet is the one that is least likely to retreat the entire race would be taking shots until then. Also telling Legion you trust it is essentially telling it you believe he is alive and has a soul... because you have placed your trust in it and the future it has proposed.
Edit 4: Yeah it's almost impossible to not have enough reputation in ME3 if you transferred a Shepard through the trilogy. Maybe not enough to have both Renegade *AND* Paragon options but one of them? I don't think I've ever seen both being greyed out.
If you didn't have enough renegade/paragon points you wouldn't have had access to the rally/warn options and you would have had to choose quarians or geth. If you have a mind to perhaps look up a video about the outcome If you side with the Geth. It is ...troubling. Only if you won't choose this path in a future playthru of course

Well now, you've just invented a new challenge, Lvl1 predator pistol only run. Not so hard for a vanguard though. The good thing about having only a pistol is, max power cooldown bonus. If you have super short cooldown you can pull, then charge for a big biotic explosion.
The good thing about the geth quarian conflict is that you can renegade or paragon them to peace. Though psycho Shepard would probably...I dunno let the quarians die because they caused the whole damned mess? Robots are so much more logical and predictable, exactly what a psycho wants...errr...I assume.
It was kinda fun I can't lie!
That was my challenge run for the entire game when LE came out, but I took it to the extreme: I changed stats of all 5 default weapons (Predator, Avenger, Mantis, Katana and Shuriken) and also N7 Hurricane SMG(best weapon to apply ammo effect on enemies) so they would deal 1% of their vanilla damage. That leaves only powers, melee and special ammo effects the only source of damage. Difficulty was obviously set to insanity.
I tried sentinel at first but very soon found out that "decent in everything = excellent in nothing". PC gaming be blessed, I changed my class to adept on the go, and that changed everything. I detonated biotic combos every couple of seconds, armored enemies just melted. I was kinda concerned about Rannoch arch but fortunately it's quite late in the game and I was lvl 55 when I boarded Geth dreadnought.
AAA challenges was the hardest part, as expected. Especially the final one, spent about an hour trying to beat it, but eventually succeeded. That was one of the strongest feelings of accomplishment I've ever experienced in gaming)
@@dimbasz Engineer is for sure the easiest class to do a no guns run through for ME2 and 3. Drones, overload and incinerate are OP. Take a biotic with you and barriers present no difficulty. The sound with a cryoblast+warp combo in ME3 is such satisfying ASMR.

Lucy, it seems like the fundamental problem is that you're trying to play Paragon because you've always wanted to be a good person, because you are a good person, but in this game it doesn't fit your beliefs. When you chose to keep the quarians under Gerrel's command, sacrificing all the geth, just because Tali is your friend, it was definitely a selfish choice. And it's a perfect example of a Renegade choice, who sacrificing many for the sake of one. It doesn't matter at all that that one is not Shepard himself, but a quarian close to him. It also doesn't matter that the geth are not organic, and their worldview is different from ours - if it mattered, it would be racism in its worst form. Perhaps it would have been easier for you to play Renegade from the very beginning, because it seems to me more than once that the "red" approach is closer to you. As a grateful viewer who has been enjoying your ME streams since the beginning, I will say that I enjoyed watching it more when you did not try to determine the "type" of a line by its position on the screen, and each time made a choice with your heart without any metagaming. No offence. And thank you one more time.
Glad you’ve been enjoying the series! I’ve never tried to define my Shep as strictly Paragon or Renegade, she’s definitely a Ruthless blend of the two. I am going to try stop thinking about the positioning of the dialogue options more though.
I loved the games so much but if I had to pick something out that just felt not right and absolutely uncalled for it would be Legion's death. Why? This was just so unnecessary. The developers could have easily taken another path here. This was nothing but putting another lost friend burden upon our shoulders and a senseless one too.
I didn't expect Lucy to let the Geth die so casually, without any regrets 🤔
