    What a great bloke! 🤘 Great build! Fantastic story. Really nice workshop. I'm familiar with CAD but I do know the worth of handmade prototypes. The combination is here the strength. Really well done! Appreciated. 👍👏
    Well done interview!

    I know HC takes the mickey about Guy boring him with dispatch riding tales but I think it's interesting and I love the 54 style, good interview

    In 1969 I turned 14 and got my motorcycle license (Alberta Canada) and had a Honda CT90 trail bike. The CB750 had just arrived in the dealership. I had been reading motorcycle magazines for a few years by that time and was into bikes in a deep way. When I saw that 750 Four.... there was no girl on the planet that would have grabbed my attention away from that bike, especially the 4 exhaust pipes. Still love the originals and this build is a worthy homage to such a great and iconic bike. Thanks for sharing.

    Love the contrast, beautifully done Motorcycles but on the wall a selection of hammers and saws, Love it. 😉
    Also love that Guy builds functional but beautiful bikes.
    I had a 1983 Kawasaki GPz 550 (USA Model in Europe it was the GP550z) for quite a few years enjoyed every mile on it.
    it got stolen and I ended up with a Honda Nighthawk CB700SC styling is very similar to what these bikes look like inline air cooled four, bikini fairing and tail cowling puts lots of miles on that bike too, it had hydraulic valves, shaft drive and a four gallon tank and a long flat seat and the Bars were upright but were adjustable. A very interesting motorcycle they only made it for three years, it was 700cc because in the 80's in the USA there was a tariff on motorcycles over 750cc.
    Started getting into Sportsters in 1992 had four of them over the years. sold my 2012 a couple of years ago.
    LOL my two wheeling is now done on bicycles, don't own a car although a Honda Grom (MSX 125) is a planned purchase in a few months.

    having built motor cycles for some 40 years or so, I completely agree, a bike has to be ridable. form follows function. if you do it right, the bikes always look good when you're done. nice looking Honda. thumbs up.

    People cannot imagine what it's like to clock up mega miles as a DR, I did it in the 80s too and 125k a year is very doable but winters are harsh this is before heated grips etc, muffs were about as good as it got until the filled up with snow, CX 500, Guzzi T3 or Spada and BMW RT100 were my bikes of choice, but I started out on a GN400, cheap and crap.

    You are correct, you can design components in CAD that cannot be replicated in the real world.

    Do you have a spare font cowl in black laying around somewhere you want to get rid of, let me know as I have a 2016 CB1100SE in black itching for a front cowl.

    I know a guy like him, except my shed, is a 1/4 of the size & I only like a few Honda's & I do like his philosophy "If it's not necessary then you don't need it", there is so much shite on modern bikes that really doesn't make it any better at all, & I'm not just talking about "Nanny Systems" although they really are the pinnacle of "Over expensive Useless Shite" that have been thrust upon us by governments & "Once in a BlueMoon riders", I don't think I would like to do 54 bikes the same "Custom" is different, Not the Same, Individual, One Off, Custom, 54 is more "Limited Production" the kind of thing that those with "More money than sense" put in their Livingroom, that said, this guy is living the dream, his dream anyway.

  • @rogerthat10-47
    @rogerthat10-47 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    You could look at joining with a company or agent in Japan that could source "Gray Imports" that would get you the "New" bikes you want & get them brought into the country without Honda being involved.

    Wow , Guy is incredibly artistic and passionate about his work , phenomenal watching him discuss the building of the bikes . The Cardboard fairing was priceless , when he mentioned the rain ... A real Artisan in a world filled full of knock offs and very cheap replicators . Loved the video D...
