Hi Guy, Harley's are not my thing at all, but that's ok, you like them. I did however like your informal chat about your lovely bike and all the things that you have done to make it yours. Very enjoyable, thank you. Take care Mate.👍
It’s looking really good. That’s the style of Harley I would do, no ape hangers and no feet forward. Excellent for blatting around on. Looking forward to seeing the end result. As for the sixpence, I wondered where that had gone, glad you made use of it. Carry on what!👍🏻
Great video Guy , it's seems such an achievement when you fabricate parts and remedy issues on your own, it's that first start when things work out , we'll done mate, love it😊
Looking good bud I have a 1972 sportster I love them reasonably quick and fun to ride and the noise is something else I have a shovel as well when not hooking about on sporty all the best sporty rider Norfolk all the best
Fantastic looking machine. Perhaps just a small amount of baffle batting will resolve things well enough for the coppers while maintaining a nice note.
Hi guy just got a cd200 love the bike it's a 81 model and have found it holds it rebs when throttling off so watching your video you recommend putting a Chinese carb on ? Are you still happy with yours ? Cheers,,terryfred
If it’s electron ignition, it is a 1979 roadster. Very rare bike I have one Why did you put points on that bike? I believe your bike has been made to runoff electronic ignition. Does your frame number match your motor number? To be a true 79 frame and the motor had the same numbers. You can buy the electronic ignition for that here in the US They’re not very expensive and you don’t have to mess with points Did it come with points?
Nice looking Mercian over by the bench there!
One of the few H-Ds I actually like the look of - simple, practical, powerful. Great job Guy. 👍😎❤️✅
Nice bike guy, great video, keep the videos coming 👍😊

Good stuff thanks! Great DIY spirit! I have a 73 XLH for about 15 years. A treat to tinker with and a reliable old steed.
Think you've just converted me to Harleys guy, looks fantastic !!
Very nice looking Sporty Guy. You are an absolute legend ❤
Long time no see , good to have you back 😊
Very nice job there Guy. I think the standard shocks would be about 14", so yours are slammed. It's great fun making stuff for your bike. 👍
Looks really great. Looking forward to a video of the first road test.
You gotta ride your ride. Nice bike, love the rear tire.....Nice
Looks good and sounds brilliant you have got yourself a nice sportster.

I like it, and agree with all your design decisions. Would it look better without the tool roll on the forks?

Guy Willison, aka Skid, aka Mr Tea 🙂
Nice vintage pushbike as the call them today. I call it modern as I'm over 60 lol.
I'm with you on the looks, Skid. No ape-hangers or fishtails for me, either.
That woke us all Up at the
Super sausage Today 😂

If you haven't joined the XL Forum yet, get there. We know those CV carbs inside and out. Plus lots of other stuff.
Frame made from pig iron.
On the other hand, it looks like someone made a good job of that concreting.
Ah good morning guy
What year is it?
Loud pipes saves lives.
Leave the fishtails off. Looks much more clean without them.
Looks great without the fan tails….never understood why anyone likes them. Curious why you did not stick with electronic ignition?
Yea lose the fishtails …’orrible 😂
