Good review providing a thorough overview. I have other seen mention and show that it can be used stand-alone with non-Moza bases however. It has the same RJ-connector in the back as the FSR-wheel, allowing it to be connected to the Moza USB-hub.
Thanks for the video. FYI CFRP are used in aviation so I think this is legit. In today’s aerospace industry, most applications use carbon as reinforcing fibres (fig.1). They are referred to as Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastics (CFRP). Fibres reinforced plastics are usually made into laminates, i.e. layered sheets. A layer or ply is made to the specified size and orientation and then more layers are added, playing on the orientation until the piece has the properties it needs to support the loads it will carry.
I'm big into drifting and just ordered a cs wheel for my drifting antics after I get it I'm getting the formula wheel mod for my es and may at some point get a KS I can't resist all the carbon even if it's fake carbon fiber I still must have it. So far getting my Moza so a few weeks ago was the greatest decision I've made it on a whole nother level in comparison to my g29 and shifter ooohhh and don't get me started on the hgp shifter good if it good I got it yesterday and absolutely obliterates the thrustmaster th8a I was using I found it microcenter had hgp's they just didn't have them on the be floor so I traded back the th8a for the hgp the shifts feel incredibly good every shift is satisfying and each shift has good resistance and the feel when it goes into gear is completely unmatched for any H pattern shifter alright I'm gonna stop now
You didn’t cover the compatibility when using the hub adapter . i would love to see this tested with a simagic base. The quiet shifts are really appealing .
@@TheSimpit awesome, another thing i’m curious to find out is if the good old RJ adapter that we use with Thrustmaster pedals for pc connection would do the same job as the moza hub adapter .
Do you got a cs wheel review I want to hear your thoughts on it and hopefully affirm that I made a good decision I think I did and will see in a couple days
Both wheels feel great. If I was strictly a GT driver, the KS wheel is what I would get. Now, if you want to drive F1 or LMP1 cars, then the GS wheel is better with all the added inputs.
For the most part, it's the number of inputs. The GS would have too many inputs for GT cars. Both are great wheels and you'll be happy with either one.
I was waiting for a midTier Moza formula wheel!!! Great!! What a surprise!
Me too! Ordered 😊
Really tempted to have this wheel on my Simagic Alpha Mini.
This, with the Universal Hub are still cheaper than Simagic FX, at least in my homeland.
Did you end up getting it? Just got the alpha mini and I’m considering the same.
how are you liking it? did you connect the ks wheel to alpha directly to the side base QR or did you change the side base QR?

Yeah dude got that wrong. This wheel isn't locked into the moza ecosystem. Plug into hub, then into pc. All buttons and rotary encoders work.
@@voongnz so no direct usb from the back of the wheel to the pc.. good thinking, getting more money through the moza hub
Thanks for the review, I cant think of anything else I want to know.
If these go on black friday sale Im grabbing one, thanks to your review!
that orange moza r16 goes so well with your rig.
Nice review, thank for the upload.
Thanks for this review buddy I enjoyed it it was highly informative
Glad it was helpful!
This is the best budget gt wheel now
Better then Simagic GT Neo? I am considering either simagic route or moza route
Thanks for the video.

For sure that is something I can cover soon

Best choice for this price
Thank you
Thanks for the steering wheel review 👍🏻 Just one question - Is the brightness of these 3:45 keys also adjustable? Or just the color?
Just the keys are adjustable
@@TheSimpit Thanks
Would the shifter silencer pads be removeable for those of us who like the loud metallic clunk?
Yes they are
ok, wtf was that bread knife thingy dude??
right tool for the right job, just drilling it in ;)
Have you tried the Polsimer F74 and if so, could you compare?
Do you got a cs wheel review I want to hear your thoughts on it and hopefully affirm that I made a good decision I think I did and will see in a couple days
Would you buy this over the GS GT wheel? What’s better and feels better? Putting the price difference to the side.

Can this be used with the VRS DD Wheelbase?
It will, but you'll need the Moza USB adapter box
If price wasn’t a factor, would you pick the KS or GS?
It depends on what you like to race. I'd use the GS for LMP1 or F1 cars and the KS for GT3, GTE, and lower class formula cars
@@TheSimpit interesting! They’re both the same size, is there a reason why you’d use them for different racing styles? Is it the number of dials?

sorry that Rim looks ugly practicality is boring
