I was sifting through some rotary tool videos to get some ideas for what to use them for, and I can't believe how many 15 minute videos I came across that gave 45 seconds of actual useful information. Your video is by far the best one I've come across so far, and I just thought I'd let you know you did a great job. It presented your creation well, and it didn't include unnecessary footage. It was nicely cut and edited. Solid work. Thanks for the great idea and quality video.

This is the first/only video I've seen of yours but it's clear you're amazing. Uploading videos like these is an act of kindness to begin with but the quality and accuracy of the filming/editing/graphics, coupled with a fantastic and minimalistic idea is really helpful. Especially for someone like me who has owned a Dremel for about five months now and has yet to use it because I'm not exactly sure how to go about things the best way. This accessory is a perfect example of what I feel I need to make use of it. Thank you.

You literally have no ideal how greatful and excited I am about this. I have literally spent the last month begging people I have come across online who have made their own to make me one and I'd pay them as the stew Mac one is to expensive for me and I really needed one for my Dremel. So excited about this. I cannot wait to give it a try! Thank you so much!!!

Great!!! Im going to use it to put an inlay on my gate pickets. I plan to put this ivy-ish design in a metal powder inlay or maybe thin copper tube inlay. This route seems to be a good route for getting a uniform depth on the inlay.

I can remember when a 3 1/2 Hp router was the thing to have. All of them have downsized, and with great success. It's items like this, that make something like a Dremel into a woodworking MONSTER. Awesome post, thanks.

if you used reletively stiff springs in place of the bottom nuts, you would only have to turn the wing nuts to adjust it. the only downside is that you would not be able to lean on it(leaning on it is stupid anyway though).

I must applaud you, your video is very easy to watch. Let me explain what I mean by that.
So many people post poor videos that are not thought out. Adding a voice over to follow step by step instructions is less disrupting than hearing background noise of a TV, children or a squawking bird. Taking the time to write a script and recording a voice over is hands down more pleasing to the ear than listening to the constant "Uh, yea" or "Umm". Believe me, I know that from personal experience. Many years ago I was on the radio talking about my then business and listening back to the audio tape was horrific, I must have said "Umm" at least 30 times in 3 minutes.
Thank you for sharing your skills and your delivery of how to duplicate them.

Perfect thanks! If you needed a shop vac attachment, maybe try using ultra flexible 3/4" silicone tubing for the first 6 feet or so, then attach it to the shop vac hose. Keeps it very maneuverable. Make sure the tubing being used does not kink easily

I have to make something too, no one supplies it as far as I know.
I built a clamp for a Bevel bit after it nearly burned out my drill. They require too much pressure and do not have the accuracy and take 10 times longer. Bevel's are not suited for drill's. After I built the clamp and rotated it by hand it was amazing how quick it works and I can put full pressure on it. It aches the hands though it saves your drill.

You could also copy another feature from commercial routers and that is a fence on two rails. the fence can also have a pin so you can rout circles. This is a very nice DIY project. At the other end of the spectrum, look at the Veritas plunge router base with all the accessories. Best one yet.
