Quick question: will there be an issue with our K1 visa if we applied for CR-1 last year and then withdrew it when the embassy notified us that we might not be legally married, even though we had a marriage certificate from DC (neither of us were physically present for the wedding...was married though an apparent scam service). We withdrew our Petition and I returned back to the states and filed for K1, we are waiting for NOA2 now.

Hi, my Denial was based on the fact that I was already in Status by my Previous application through Marriage, but I abandoned it many many years ago...and I thought that if you abandon and it gets to the two year Interview, it automatically drops out of their system. Now, I later applied through my Son who was born here and he is over the age of 22...So my Second i-485 is what was Denial and they insist that I should file Form 0751...Can I cancel and drop the old i-485 and cancel that old case, so that I can Reapply with my Son?
Hello Ms. McBean, I recently got my I-485 denied because I didn't bring my I-194 Medical Form (My results were delayed due to a hurricane so the clinic could not give me results on time of the interview). My lawyer suggested I still show up to the interview even though I was missing this document AND we had received an RFE months prior (which my lawyer never disclosed to me). She told me that I should not worry about not having my medical form and that the worst that could happen was that I would get an RFE (which in fact I got months prior but my lawyer (even though she knew about it) never told me about). So it appears to me she set me up to get denied and now asked $2500 to do a motion to reopen? Would that be considered malpractice? Thank you in advance!

During this time I met my life partner, got married, we blessed with baby girl. But department of homeland security arrested me for living without status. Hey I have a serious and quick question. I am petitioning for my spouse who is overseas. Filing a i30. Anyway overseas where he lives they are required to have four names, unlike the three or two here in US. So would I need to include all four of hid names when filing or can i just do the first three. And make his third name his legal last name

Dear friends, we would greatly appreciate the help here? My father was waiting for the i485 results and traveled on advanced parole outside of the USA. UCGIS recently rejected the i485 giving reason to "Effect of departure". "However, the record fails to show that you were in possession of a valid advance parole travel document (Form I-512) or a valid H or L nonimmigrant visa or status upon departure." However, my dad had advance parole issued two weeks before the departure. Can he go for a motion to reopen the I485 case, that is I-290B? any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Hi. I need help. I am out of the US now after my interview and never I can not enter your page USCIS. It says that blocked. I need to enter it. Because I fail on my interview. What can I do? Here is my case. Thank you for the information. I had my citizenship interview last week on Nov. 9th, 2022 and the officer told me that I stayed long time the out of the US. in the last 5 years. 937 days. So the missing days of my are 24 days. Later they sent me a mail that says that I am not eligible for naturalization. Accordingly, USCIS must deny my application for naturalization. So what can I do now? HOW and WHEN can I APPLY AGAİN??? How and when I can apply again?
Long story short!!!! The reason for the denial and your options will be specified in the letter. Don't appeal... just refile your application as soon as possible. Get an experienced immigration lawyer if you can afford one.

@@ahmedjalloh6667 Yes you will pay the fees all over again because It’s a new application altogether. Make sure to correct all the mistakes made in the previous application that led to the denial. My first application was denied, I reapplied after two weeks of getting my denial letter. A year later my new application was approved after my interview.
Hi, may i have a question. I am USC doing petition and AOS for my stepdaughter came here by visitor visa.
Her I-485 was denied because of my mistake while doing a paper work (i didn't file i-130 together).
The denial notice said that we could do a motion or she has to leave in 33 days because she is being out of status.
Can we refile I-485 for her within 33 days.

What are grounds for denial? Is something like "adultery" a ground for denial? If proved by an accuser or complainer.?

Miss Mc bean I have a question my Cousin b en here since 2001 she came illegal. Find the congress person in your district, call them and they would send you form to fill and send it to USCIS.I bet you before 3 weeks you would get a quick response from USCIS

Monica Stader you can stay while you re-apply! Just put your last I-797 Notice of Action from your last I-485 application and the notice of decision letter so they can see that you had applied for I-485 but it got denied and that‘s why the I-94 has expired

They gave short time visa on airport. They should give at least up to 4 years. But they give 3 years. My approval notice is 4 years.
