I have seen elsewhere that Gandalf's becoming naked, wandering beyond thought and time, is not a reference to the strange ways under the mountain but to his becoming bodiless, entering a different mode of being, and returning to the spiritual abode of Eru being before he is given another form and task as the White Wizard.

If the world is the song of the illuvatar and they were able to make song into physical entity. Ever heard a orchestra warming up and all the different musical instruments that are at once a rhythm and yet also not? Not the piece the conductor makes but yet was created before the performance and like the song the Illuvatar make and remains so does the Nameless pieces that come before. So no, I don't think they have anything to do with Morgoth at all.

I sometimes wonder if J.R.R. borrowed from ol' H.P. concerning his "Nameless Things". The timeline is possible. I'm not a scholar of either; is there any mention of Tolkien adopting Lovecraft's ideas at all?

They were created during the discord of the music of the Ainur caused by Melkor.

I wonder if Tolkien studied the Cabalistic traditions has the nameless things vaguely resemble the Qliphoth from Jewish mysticism.

I believe he was highly familiar if not actually expert. He just learned and retained, milked we walk. Without hard thinking.

I think it’s that intensely irritating tinsel music looping on and on in the background.

You could show real art by actual artists that has been done on tolkien's work for decades instead of the terrible ai abominations that were no doubt trained off those artists work 😢
It would reflect better on your channel
