Anne-Marie Makes Pumpkin Bubbling Bath Truffles | Bramble Berry

  • These Pumpkin Bath Truffles are a treat to use. As they’re broken up under the faucet, they fill the water with luxurious pumpkin extract, cocoa butter, and shea butter. The mix of Cashmere and Pumpkin Spice Fragrance Oil will make the bath water smell just like fall.
The truffles, which feature products from the new Hygge Collection, are a treat to make too. Once the dry and wet ingredients are combined, you use an ice cream scoop to create the cute shape. Finally, sprinkle a little Gold Sparkle Mica on top with either a Powder Sprayer or Powder Duster.
The recipe makes about 18 truffles, which means you’ll have plenty to give to loved ones this holiday season. We like to package the truffles in small plastic bags or jars to ensure the delicate truffles stay intact.
    Pumpkin Bubbling Bath Truffle Recipe:
25 oz. Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)
    7 oz. Citric Acid
    4 oz. Cream of Tartar
    15 oz. SLSA
1 tsp. Dark Red Brazilian Clay
    4.5 oz. Cocoa Butter
    6 oz. Shea Butter
    0.5 oz. Pumpkin Extract
    1 oz. Polysorbate 80
    1 oz. Liquid Glycerin
0.4 oz. Pumpkin Spice Fragrance Oil
    0.4 oz Cashmere Fragrance Oil
    Gold Sparkle Mica

Thank you! I have a comment and a suggestion. First and foremost, thank you very much for the safety suggestions and using the mask for the SLSA. I’ve literally cringed and stopped watching other videos using this product with no regard to safety. I’ve used this SLSA in production and I required my employees and myself to use a full face respirator. My suggestion is adding the SLSA to a liquid, in this case the Glycerine, whisked in, therefore dispersed and not airborne. Also, I would probably heat up the coco butter first, then add the other liquid ingredients and Shea butter. I’ve always been under the OG assumption that heating up Shea butter over 120 degrees makes it loose those nutrients? Could be wrong? Love the product idea! Can’t wait to try this!

I would rather use Cocamidopropyl betaine think its more natural as a bubbling agent wish there were more recipes to use it. It's an liquid and is tricky to add in but works really well with wet products like this. I've made truffles with it

When I use SLSA I put it in the bowl first then I take alcohol in a spray bottle and I spray it a few times and it actually locks the SLSA in place and u can sift all ur stuff right on top and you don’t have to worry. I’m a heart patient and my daughter has severe asthma so I have to be very careful with her. And it never bothers her n we do still wear masks. Never take a chance!!

@@bramble-berryI find it hard to purchase everything extra I need for this recipe without seeing how then actually work in water. It's very easy and usually videos show this at the end. You just use a big glass bowl and pour your water and break it uo. If you've shown this product and how it performs anywhere else please let me know where or link below. Thank you. Video looks great. I would be confident to buy right away if I could of just seen it in action, afterall it is not exactly cheap to purchase the additional ingredients needed that a traditional bath bomb doesn't contain.

SLSA in my country is very expensive. Like.. 50$ for only 1kg of it.
The most promising alternative is SLS which is works okay. But yeah it's irritating. And I experimenting. You can use SCI with the mix of coco betaine, but you need foam boost like lauryl betaine. So I use 3 surfactants. I basically changed the whole recipe.

You absolutely can. The ice cream scooper just gives it the look/texture of ice cream (with the little ridges). But it should work exactly the same if you place it in a mold. Edit: I apologize I didn't see that @Soap Queen already replied.
