That's the one thing I love above Portugal, or maybe two, extremely good value & English is widely spoken!
I actually drove through Armação de Pêra four times 2 & a half weeks ago & another restaurant stood out to me, Mr Naan which made me chuckle at its name! I didn't stop to try it though but know very little about the town, so thanks for the great intro in support of it.
I don't eat enough sushi, I only pick it up if reduced to clear in my local Aldi as it's deemed a luxury dish in Ireland, so quite dear.

I live near Armação de Pêra I have seen Mr Naan, but not tried it yet. We will pay a visit so stay tuned.
Regarding Sushi, Matuya is great value... and yes I am amazed to see a small tray of stale sushi in the supermarket (it is the same in Portugal btw) for a tenner, when you can get all you can eat for under 20!
