    My husband just went to pick up this extact model in Dallas! Cannot wait to drive her! We traded in our beloved 2006 Aura TL...named Aniston...after Jennifer. Long story haha! Thanks for walking me through since I couldn't be there to test drive it too! Trying to stay safe! I see lots of road trips in our future 🥰🥰

    "The brakes too, while a bit spongey in the pedal feel, certainly brings the vehicle to a stop without much drama at all." That's what brakes are supposed to do, so why even mention it? That's like saying, "The roof, while a bit low for my head, certainly keeps the sun and wind out of the car."

    • @user-fx5sw4jy7hYz9Hzi

      It's worth noting because some SUVs in the segment don't behave the same. For example, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio has a very aggressive and odd feeling brake pedal that slows the vehicle dramatically. The brake feel is an important detail.

    The 2019/20 RDX is beautiful, but the one thing stopping me from getting it in 2 months when my current lease is up is the fact that I cant get the surround view camera with the Aspec pkg, even if I'm willing to pay the 5 grand more to get all the packages! It's a careless and stupid omission.

  • @jeffs6090
    @jeffs6090 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    At 2:00, I'd add the XC60 perhaps to that list. And it has a 310hp option. The X3 has better too with the m40. I like the cars that have engine options with better performance instead of having only one option that's really under powered for it's size. Tho, 270 is adequate for the car.
    (On a related note...) I'm not a fan of companies only giving eco engines on their smaller vehicles. I want the power and performance in a smaller car. I don't want to have to up in size in order to get the power. Not everyone gets/wants a small vehicle for economy reasons. This is where the Germans have it right with the S, M, and AMG (and some other European makes). I can get the smaller C coupe with the power I want. I don't need nor want a larger car. I'm sure many people would wish that this A-Spec version was more than just an appearance package, and that it also gave a power boost to 310-330hp to go with the better looks.

      Thinking about buying Acura MDX? Think again.🔮🦌🦌🦌 How come, Acura. Three weeks passed and no answers. 🦌🦌🦌🔮A car under warranty 25 000 miles was towed way to the dealership. Three weeks have passed and they are still looking into the issue". It's like looking for a niddle in a haystack" they said. "Something with electronics " Meanwhile No loaner is provided by Acura!!! The only offer from them was to tow the car to a different dealership at Your expense. Be aware. Acura MDX will broke , Acura road assistance will come 15 hours later and tow it away. You'll not hear from them for three weeks. They will not give you a loaner or pay for your rental car because " what if it's not a warranty case". Acura client relationships says " we understand your frustration. They are still looking into the problem with your car". Stay away!🤑🤑🤑

      At the test track, it was a bit of a toss-up. The 268-hp crossover recorded a 0-60 mph time of 6.6 seconds and a 15.1-second quarter mile at 91.6 mph. That's a good bit slower than the last 280-hp Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti Sport we tested but slightly quicker than the 272-hp Acura RDXA-Spec.

    I don't care what the brochure says about SH-AWD, I want to see it and a FWD trim go head to head on a (road) track [same tires] in both dry and wet to see what my real (world) advantage actually is...if it's less than a few seconds then give me a better argument to go SH-AWD to justify the price premiums

    • @alliejr
      @alliejr 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      SH-AWD has almost no impact on straightline acceleration (also, by the way, I think you mean tenths of a second, not seconds-- there is NO technology that will knock SECONDS off your acceleration). The SH-AWD setup has a hugely positive impact in the corners. I'm sure you could see improved laptimes on a track, but its more about the feel. In power-on situations, SH-AWD is just flat-out excellent and far, far, far superior to just FWD and on-par with RWD-biased platforms. It is not a marketing gimic, it is a real and really useful technology, pioneered by Acura 12 years ago, that has a positive impact on the driving feel and performance.
