@@ianlee5008 what brands do you think are better?
www.edmunds.com/acura/rdx/2019/consumer-reviews/
A lot of consumers who own the 2019 RDX seem to not be so happy, with the rating only 66%.
www.edmunds.com/acura/rdx/2020/consumer-reviews/
The 2020 RDX seems better, with 86%. Though there are many complaints with the 2019 models on transmissions and infotainment.
@@asdfghjqwertyu1858 Some people will complain just about anything for the littlest thing. Even on my 2016 MDX with the ZF 9-speed I have no problem with but a lot of people complain about it.
Stuff like Consumer Report or JD Power are useless because majority of the owners are not part of consumer report or JD Power program, and usually it's only a handful of customers who are not happy with it will write a review, the vast majority that are happy with the vehicle do not say anything.
I own a 2020 RDX A-spec and I'm getting 240 miles per tank with Supreme fuel. I'm basically getting 15mpg. I might as well be driving an Escalade.
It’s that bad?!??💔
How do you like the infotainment, did it take getting used to?
@@saramango7 yes it is. I am never getting above 18mpg. Every video on youtube talks about goods of this car. But when asked of mileage everyone diverts and say get a corolla or civic if you want mieage.
@@deathward990 Idk I have one now and I’m getting 22 MPG average
@@saramango7 How many miles are you on it? Also, I think the numbers said 22 cities and 24 on average.
So what’s the difference? It looks just like my 2020 . Mirror still doesn’t close or open by electric? Dam at least design the key as a engine starter .... BMW X6 M version here I come
Wonderful review!! I watched this after your Lexus NX review. What would you all recommend between the NX and RDX ....most bang for your bucks? This is my first SUV purchase, always sedans and coupes. I did hit the subcribe button for you all.
Personally, we prefer the RDX! Thanks for subbing!
The mirrors move when on reverse. Do I have to change the settings so that the mirrors go back to the right position when I change back to drive mode?
No, it tilts down and back up automatically. You can change which mirror does this, or both of them
Just got 21 a spec same as this one . Drove 22 mdx felt heavy
One of the biggest problems with the rdx is the infotainment systems I really hope they address that in the 2020 version
Noce car! Is the navigation that these cars come with in realtime? Anyone know? Thanks!
Still no wireless charging, wireless CarPlay, or heated/folding mirrors?
No reason.
Even the Hyundai Santa Fe has wireless CarPlay…
I would definitely buy one just wish it had over 300hp
Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy didn’t they put the remote start on the key fob
Available via Acura accessories.
Whats the mileage numbers like? I have heard from lot of owners this car is pretty bad for any city driving.
Waiting for the S-type v6!
What's with the stapler looking rear tail lights? Almost look like the Honda Accords stapler looking rear tail lights.
How are the 2.0 turbo 10 speed power train? Ive heatd the 1.5 turbo has problems.
I wonder if they will add ambient lighting for the refresh.
A-Spec has ambient lighting at least mine does its all red glowing at night. Lights in the doorwells, under the floor and sides by your head tiny led's. The only thing you can't change color and I think thats because Red is the A-specs color.
@@SimSquadGaming i meant the changing colors, like the New TLX.
@@SimSquadGaming Does the red lighting bother you? Have you been pleased with the car overall?
if you could afford either car would you rather have an RDX or the turbo CX five?
CX-5 is the better driver but would probably still choose the RDX because of the extra luxury in the cabin
K tune stage 2 coming soon on mine which will put me over 300 hp.
The 2020 Toyota Highlander comes with the 360 D cameras why this expensive vehicles don’t offer it standard?
I have a ‘19 MDX and have an opportunity to upgrade to a 2020 SHAWD Advanced and lower my payment. Are there any differences between the 2020 and 2021 or is it a rollover?
Rollover besides for some minor pricing updates
All they need is a lighter TypeS model with the Civic Type R tuned version of that powertrain (304hp at least & more torque). ✅🎆
remote start is free for 6 months? you much do you have to pay for that monthly?
Why is the screen so high up. Looks like a last minute thought
Love this suv!! I hope it’s our next one. We are undecided between this and a Honda Ridgeline. Lol
Toyota
George Taylor we have a Lexus ES350 so that’s covered. But I also love the Honda brand.
Do you need a car-based truck? If not, I see no reason to get the Ridgeline. The RDX is way more refined, luxurious, and fun to drive. Never heard anyone cross shop these two haha
@@edwink1467 good point! I see this was a year ago when I wrote that. Still love both vehicles but interest has changed. Haven’t gotten a truck yet. Wife and I just moved to a farm and I need a small work truck. Looking at a Tacoma or Frontier. Still like the Ridgeline but need more of a work horse.
The 2 rear muffler tips make the car look cheap , what kind of engineering made that muffler tips?
I love love this car👍🏾
My dad has Acura RDX 2019 aspec but in black pick up few weeks ago also
Acura really needs to update the wheels on the Advance. I have not heard a single person who said they like them lol
No mention of the sliding armrest . .
Let's see what Acura will do for the 2022 refresh
