I contacted TST industries about an integrated tailight. I have had a few of their lights and also happy with them. Hoping they’re able to make a clean design for the 698

@@hypermotardking Hey, what would you suggest me to buy? Hyper 950 or Hyper 698? I'm driving like 4h tours with my friends on supermoto on really curvy terrain and driving to work every day, I dont wheelie or sth like that...
@@GoehlzBrotherz If your friends have supermotos then get the 698 - problem there is a long wait for new orders, so get the 950 in the meantime 👍🏻
@@hypermotardking so 950 is a naked bike which is sold as supermoto? Or does it have some typical features of supermotos? In Germany where I live, you can buy the 698 instant at a store in my region, so it wouldnt need time
@@GoehlzBrotherz Get the 698 then. The 950 is 50kg heavier and not really a supermoto
For anyone that likes to tuck their plate away a little further you can mount the brackets with the swivel point facing towards the bike and then flip the plate frame upside down. There’s enough flex in the metal to do so, just have to crank down on the hardware a little. You can also remove the lights. Hope this helps!

Thanks for sharing, love your channel,... hard question, how much better is the 950 on the highway? Is it just 10%, 50% better, or 100% better ? In terms of power and stability, especially in high winds Thanks
950 is good on highway as it feels more planted being that bit heavier - I’m a small guy so dont feel the wind so much. The biggest issue for me on highway is arm-pump holding that throttle.. hence my navigation always has “avoid motorways”
I was looking at some integrated tail lights for my hyper but was told that these would constitute an automatic MOT failure. Any way to use these without having MOT issues?
@@MrDavidRosca don’t need an MOT for 1st 3 yrs - just swap back to stock after - plug and play

Is there already a race airfilter from BMC or K&N or any other? You didn't secure the airfilter, just leave it?
Wheres it going to go.. the seat sits ontop? I could chop the stock lid to secure it like I did on my 950z - Sprint P08 filters are already available (I have one).. but i want to do proper dyno run tests on stock vs sprint and cover vs no cover
@@hypermotardking Oh No! Don't leave your air filter just sitting on top the air box. That massive piston will suck unfiltered air past the lip of the filter. My 1st choice would be to buy a lid from your fellow YT content creator vcycleynut. My 2nd choice would be to sacrifice the stock lid and cut the top of it while leaving the wanted frame to secure the filter.

I’m not sure whether to go for a 950 or the mono. What would you recommend if you can only have one? Currently am on a monster 1200r which I’d have to sell, can only have one bike.
I’ve only had the 698 a week, so i havent done eveything i want to make it a fair comparison.. but frkm a 1200r, the Hyper would be the better choice simply because it can do everything and has the power/torque to maintain the fun factor

@@AAKhanivorei think u will miss the power If u go for the mono. My 950 could need 30-40 HP more to make it a true allrounder for me. But i guess 2 less teeth will do the job, vmax sucks anyway without windshield.

Are the 698 and 950 handlebars the same?
Look and feel on just visuals.. not got any measuring tools out yet to confirm.. but could always do a “parts” comparison?
What are the cables above the screen mate ?
Brake line and the abs sensor wire.. quite common that “loop” on supermoto’s because of the suspension travel..
Never seen that before, not sure if I like it or not 🤔
