    I am glad to see someone making sense on a youtube video. You explain it very well.

    I really enjoyed this. Very affable guy, good common sense but thorough instructions. My car is twenty years old and all I've done in past is remove contents of reservoir, add, drive a few miles, and do it again, until my new bottle of fluid is gone, but this really flushes it. Love it! Bluemill, 2000 Navy Blue coupe, 123,000 miles

    A project I'm looking forward to do. With my luck, rubber band snaps, bag melts, lower steering fluid all over the fukkin place, abs module shot, all stressed out and at that point I'll set the Vette on fire. That was easy. Lol.
    Thanks.

      I stuck a cork in mine. And as for the inlet hose, that bag isn't holding back fluid if you start the damn car. It will blow it right off.

    Nice DIY...I do wanna mention the service manuals say to start with the wheel turned to the left and when adding fluid and bleeding...do not hit the stops left and right but just to them. Subscribed!

    Thanks for the video my man. My father in law just gave me his 06 C6. I know...I suck. Been starting the learning process and getting some routine maintenance out the way. Fluids are top of the list since it's been sitting in a garage for years. Subscribed.

    Love that you wrench on your car, bro. You have my anxiety on blast not having an old towel protecting the belt and components from spillage, lol.
    You could use a hose clamp so there’s less chance of spillage when reconnected the hose to the reservoir too, just saying.
    Thanks for posting👍🏼👍🏼

    Very useful! I have used a "cut finger" from a rubber glove instead of the plastic bag. Other than that, I followed all the directions.

      @@Beezy_Builds just wrapped up! Pretty easy as you described it, minus that hose clamp being a headache.
      Instead of the bag/rubberband combo though I just used a 3/8" vacuum cap. Much easier, and available at most auto parts stores when you're out getting fluid.

    Number one it’s a good video and number two I’ve read on Corvette forums not to use the mobile one ATF have you had any problems? I’m about to swap out the rack and am a little confused on the fluids. I have some royal purple MAX EZ and I’m curious if that’s what you used? Also if you did use that how long did it take to break down the fluid?

    • @Beezy_Builds
      @Beezy_Builds  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ive rum sythetic atf and the royal purple stuff I think I settled on the atf in the end just to consolidate fluids, ive had no issue with it

      100% time for a turn one, cost a bit of money but the best option out there for us
