Pokemon Showdown salty noobs, oh man. Pokemon Showdown salt is not as rare as you might think. It's even worse when someone already knows it's me, because they might try to act salty to get into a video. I'm not sure with this guy but the fact he had an "anti-trash" team is hilarious af, he must really love the channel despite how much he says he hates it.

Tbh he's got me running new strats on unorthodox pokemon. Its a lot of fun using a Wall Torterra, to get a stat boosting pokemon in, to turn a Mismagius, or Weavile into a freight train.
At least, I dont THINK those guys are actually commonly used?

temp's strategies aren't really that innovative or good in higher level gameplay; the ones that work in higher levels are very basic strategies in competitive. Most of these strategies only work because they're used against low ladder players who don't know what a Zoroark is, and even then temp needs to fish for a somewhat decent matchup. This channel is the equivalent of a DIII basketball player dunking on some 5th graders while weaving in some trick shots lol. I will say he does make it pretty entertaining

Man I remember when I was a lad, my friend beat me in a pokemon battle, so I got mad and rematched her with a team of legendaries and still lost. That shit humbled me and taught me legendaries aren't shit in the face of a solid strategy.
@@Saren_5 Yes. Legendaries are incredibly powerful in the hands of a competent player. And as useless as anything else in the hands of someone who just clicks moves with the highest damage.
@@Saren_5 100%, yes. Cheese strats like what Temp spams here are really only good up to a certain rating, ~1400 or so. Above that, people actually know what they're doing and run stuff like hazards, taunt, even perish song, etc. to stop the cheese, and every team becomes basically full legendaries again, because at the end of the day, legendaries are complained about because they're fundamentally good pokemon. Of course, two 1700s using full legendaries is like playing a completely different game than two 1200s doing it.

I genuinely have no clue how someone has the capability to act like this in a game. Like they literally wished harm upon your channel and then called YOU the toxic one because they couldn’t see how far their head was up their own ass. It just baffles me, really.
But the funniest bit was when they said you don’t upload your losses- yet three hours before this video you uploaded a video where you lost immediately in the first clip.

Edit: From all the replies- I know it’s really common, I just mean that I’m surprised that people have the hatred inside of them to wish for death and harm over another living person over a round of a game that doesn’t have any affect on the people participating outside of the confines of the game. It’s a game and there isn’t an excuse to act that way.

Games like these are genuinely hard to play sometimes because of that. Luckily much larger competitive games are typically better. Rocket League has a pretty kind community overall. There will always be assholes though

I mean spamming legends is perfectly justified in AG and Ubers (the format literally for legendary spammers) but yeah in OU don’t spam legends
There are even worse things than spamming legends in gen 9 tho, there are such things in Natdex AG known as, revive cats, where the players basically infinitely revive their Pokémon which is literally devil strats, and electric Tera air balloon shedinja, which basically forces you to use a necrozma dusk/dawn/ultra or anything that bypasses abilities
I say if you ever plan on spamming legends, do it in ubers, otherwise you might piss people off.
Whenever I see videos like this, I'm reminded of the difference between strategy and tactics. One of the players is clearly playing chess, planning out patterns well ahead of time, making strategic sacrifices to establish better advantages down the line...

I really enjoy your videos bro. Hope that you never stop to doing that, playing Pokemon as it's supposed to be played, being smart, not only picking the "better" pokemon.
I haven't played since Pokemon Red, but I loved having Charizard, Kadabra, Pidgeot, Mew, Butterfree, and Ditto on my team. Never really had a reason for that specific team, I just liked them.
So that dude at the start, weren't they aware that most of the strats used are actual competitive stuff? I don't play competitive but even I have an idea of how some of t6t's stuff works or what they were inspired from.
The thing that t6t does is giving these strats a twist.
This is what actually makes Temp dangerous- most strats aren't super original, but temp finds really odd Pokemon to run them on and is willing to convolute and sacrifice builds to get there (e.g. kyogre killer charizard)
The rogue builds put a certain kind of tryhard completely off balance and can even make good players stumble and blow key predictions

I actually think that's the point. Like, I'm 100% just guessing, but I think when they say "Trash Team" they don't mean the Team on a whole is bad, but rather, that is has "bad Pokemon" (read: "It doesn't have OP Stats") in it.
