A visitor visa applicant who doesn't have strong enough ties or resources on hand to return home too often resorts to crime -- and both the VO and Immigration Officer risk investigation if a foreign entrant is or becomes criminal. Part of the VO's job is defending against likely overstayers, smugglers, scammers, terrorists, and other problematic persons before they even buy their plane ticket.
Certain travel patterns are linked to crimes, usually smuggling if not worse. The visa officer is sniffing out potential drug mules, terrorists, and other problematic applicants.
My visa was denied because of this, the consular officer just said after 5 minutes: Your visa was denied, try to visit some countries before to try again here.
What VO looks for are compelling reasons to depart America back to home, which can include the family situation. If they feel you're using a nonimmigrant visa to ultimately overstay and become an illegal immigrant, they'll deny your application.
That's not fair. My husband is a Nigerian. He's never been to the US. He wants to come to be with me. He loves me. I love him deeply. I can't go to Nigeria and live right now. I hope he gets approved. Good husband. Works hard. Legit marriage. I'm kind of nervous.
Funny enough he did it to Nigerians. Nigerians pray and fast about it for months before they travel. And if been denied so is this dude that denied them base on his on decision making. I just pity those who might have come across this dude savage guy🤣😂🤣
hey i need some advice. I was originally eligible for the interview waiver however a week later they said I needed an interview under 221g. I pretty certain why I was given this, my digital photo had shadows and my in-person photo was 5x5 inches not cm basically my photos did not meet the requirements. Now I have the correct photo. On the letter I received it says to bring all the documents submitted to your courier however, in the email I received it says to submit all the documents requested. Now, the document I sent off was the incorrect 5x5 inch photo however the one requested that I know have is the correct 5x5 cm. So what do I do, do I leave them both in their and explain the situation?? or not take the large one and just leave the correct one in their? my fear is that if I do that they wont see what the issue was and put me into administrative processing to investigate further but if I just in explaining the situation or put a large and small one in it will look a bit stupid. Please advise
