Harvey Beaks is one of those very charming, relaxing and all around pleasant shows to watch and honetly just look at. While Harvey Beaks was coming from a veteran in the animation space, Nickelodeon still ended up treated the show poorly leading to some public situations with them and the shows creator. Today, let's take a look at the rise and unfortunately sad fall of Harvey Beaks.

Excluding Amphibia, which I put as more of a 2020s and beyond show, there were 2 shows from the 2010s decade that really connected with me.
One was Wander Over Yonder, a show that had plenty of slapstick but a lot of heart and optimism at its core. It was refreshing to see that kind of take in a very cynical world.
The other, of course, was Harvey Beaks. Harvey Beaks probably ranks as my second favorite animated program of all time (right behind Wander), and it's due to the style of it. How characters interact, how stories play out. This was LEGITIMATELY a show about kids being kids. Something I think a lot of cartoons either don't do, or fail to grasp. The humor was always on point, making adult characters feel like characters and not just nags to the children was also fantastic. As you said, the show had a ton of heart, and you can feel that from each and every episode. Whether it's an episode dealing with deep emotions such as jealousy, or a fun episode done almost entirely with different art styles to show the winter holiday.
It's also special to me, that both shows (Wander and Harvey) had musical episodes air in the same year. Both of them were fantastic spectacles of what the teams could do with their characters, and showed that even placing them in a slightly different setting, you could still get the same tone and spirit the main show gave.
I think most people have a negative attitude toward Nick these days, and it's not without merit. Saying, "well SpongeBob does these numbers!!" and then expecting a new show that you barely air or market to do the same is insane. SpongeBob was considered a one and done back in the day from what I remembered, as they were pulling all their resources into making more Rugrats and Rugrats spin-offs. Now look at that show.
You gotta give shows an actual chance to shine, otherwise everything will look "mediocre" ratings wise in comparison. (Not to mention a lot of SpongeBob now is just the kind of really cruddy humor you'd see in a Minions movie, which goes to show how much the network actually gives a crap about its target demographic.)
    Anyway.
Harvey Beaks or any character from Littlebark Grove for Nick All-Stars!!

I pretty much agree with everything here. And regarding Wander Over Yonder, yeah two seasons was really disappointing. Whether it would’ve been more wacky adventures or Wander and Sylvia still trying to reform Dominator, maybe even realize most people are beyond redemption, I just wanted to see the, again. The first episode of Chibiverse kinda did that with a two second clip of Wander and Hater, short but sweet, but I would appreciate it more the voice actors reprised their roles

By 2015 I was already a bit old to watch Nicktoons so I don't really remember much of it but... it's nice and a bit kiddy, like a show you could find in Nick Jr. for older preschool kids to learn some values the show portraits.

Glad I still remember this show. This show literally was my favourite after school shows alongside pig, goat, banana, cricket back in 4-5th grade.
How Nick treated Greenblatt really shatters my childhood even more. Learning how Nick, the channel I once favored more than Cartoon Network and Disney as a child having multiple amounts of controversies like these really makes me want to grab my child self and force her to read books instead.
And it's unfortunate that the show only aired season 1 in my region. I really hate it when networks do this. They air shows very late in the region I'm in, while the western side of the world is enjoying like what, the 4th season we out here still in the 1st one.

For me Clarence was one of those shows where it felt like something, I don't know what, was missing.
I didn't dislike it, but aside from a couple of standout episodes, I couldn't stay invested in it.

I respect Greenblat, really he created one of my favorite shows. That being said. I did not enjoy Harvey Beaks, at first I wasn’t saddened by the cancellation. But then I realized who made it and what happened. He deserves way better from ALL studios.

Wow... I've known for a long time about the problems with the network at Nick but this is just so depressing. I remember seeing ads for Harvey Beaks when it came out and thinking it looked like a good slice of life cartoon, and it's really upsetting to see the fate it had

As a kid I loved the show and one day it just stoped airing and I had no idea why. Didn't know shit about the Nick grave yard but I had a vague idea of what nick toons was. My aunt used to put it on for me since she didn't know the difference between that and the main channel. I did grow up with Xfinity on Demand which was like the streaming services before the streaming service. The last of the episodes just showed up on there a year or so after I forgot about it. Happy enough it gave me closure on the charaters. I had no idea why they never aired the episodes that I considered major story beats. I was constantly watching TV so I definitely would've seen something. I only realised what happend after I got into animation and TV online...

I loved this show when it was on. I didn't know it ended until I saw the final episode on the Nick app. Growing up in the early 2000's and seeing all the content Nick had it makes me sad to see that there isn't much of a variety of shows now than it did back then. It's almost as if the network is scared of taking a chance with new ideas for animation

I loved the show when I was growing up, I always loved the charm the show had and how the art style was similar to Chowder. I remember it premiering right after the kids choice awards and how I associated the food i was eating at the time to give me the same emotion as Harvey Beaks did. I was sad to see it go but I'm glad to look back on it and the nostalgia it gives me.

I remember seeing Harvey beaks premiere on nick but the next time I saw it was moved to nick toons. The show was average something you could have in the background and not mind but the show became a turn of for me since nick toons was 90% the time playing only bread winners during mid day of my time zone.

To be fair and honest but if Harvey Beaks premiered on the same day and year like the Loud House did, then it probably would of gotten the same amount of love and attention like the Loud House got.

I love this show so much. When i was youger, we had snack day every week, where my mother and me or one of my siblings would go and buy snacks, we would allways arrive around 8-9 pm, and when we got home, they allways aired Harvey Beaks, so i just sat on the big couch with my family, ate snakcs, and watched this relaxing gem of a cartoon.

Harvey Beaks went big on emotional beats, and for me, it didn't always hit, and sometimes came off like discount Fraggle Rock or something like that. However, it did hit often enough to watch, and once it became clear it was getting the Nicktoons treatment, I started paying it more attention and realized it had a real niche amongst Nick's other "louder" shows. Breadwinners just sucked tho

The fact that Harvey himself is on the spectrum, it shows thay even characters like him can try to relate to those in the same situation.
