Look at how Debbie stands back as the guitarist goes crazy at the end. What fantastic respect from her. She could have stood at the front of the stage and soaked up the adulation from the frenzied crowd but she stood back. Class that you can’t buy.

Probably the best version of Atomic I have listened to. Nailed it, Debbie steps back and the band let rip. AWESOME.
The 1999 NYC live version of Atomic is just outstanding and the acoustics are excellent there. Pity it was shot in 4:3, but that goes with the time.
The greatest female rocker of all time and the greatest drummer, what more could you want.

I completely agree best female musician ever but as much as I sit here and ponder the biggest musical legends in my life and admit there is many many absolute genius untouchable gods that have paved the way for my musical tastes, I can't think of any one who has had such an impact personally on me as Debbie and blondie did. I had a dad who was in to heavy metal and thrash (to which I became a big fan) but he handed me parallel lines and it changed my life entirely. It was so refreshing listening to a female singer fronting a band with such confidence coming from listening to mainly male led metal, I can't even describe the excitement, and I can still conjour up that excitement today when watching videos like this. Sorry for the life story haha

My God this woman is 69 years of age here and she’s bopping and singing like a 16 year old!! Fantastic!!! There’s kids in her audience young enough to be her great great grandchildren and they love her as one of their own!!

Atomic was the first 7" single I walked into a record store and bought myself as a 9 year old. I sometimes wonder if the young Glastonbury crowd truly appreciate these legendary bands. This is a wonderful version that has brought tears to my eyes.
A lot of that Glastonbury crowd is thinking, “she’s covering a Sleeper song, cool.”
Actually a lot of older people go to Woodstock.

I saw them live at Shepard's Bush 3 days after this and they were so Amazing and she sang beautifully. Recordings do it no justice, you have to be there!

People these days are used to artists lip syncing, using back up vocal backing tracks and autotune. Debbie, at 69, does nothing of the sort, it's 100% live and she's never out of tune, still having her recognisable sound. So please tell me what is so ''bad'' about this?

My mum was going to Muse shows in her sixties, and got to about her hundredth Bon Jovi gig. There's no rule to say you have to age stereotypically. Maybe it helped that she only became a grandmother three years ago at about 70. We must blame my brother if she starts settling into the mould.

Wow! I thought I saw all of blondie, but missed this one. What a great recording job, so hard to get good quality when live, but they did it. You can tell her voice is old, but she's still got it! Total control of every inflection....and did it live which is always a challenge with audio setup. How many people attended? Looks like 200,000?
