Well said, Daniel, the gap and the gain, hum! It's called ignorant, and you can't fix ignorant, so we have to deal with them the best way we can. Haters do not like themselves, so they want to make life miserable for all. Love your videos and the animals.
You might fix ignorance, but you can't fix stupid or insanity
There is the argument of ignorance (commenters) vs stubbornness (Daniel's). People like to dug at other people who react a certain way. Daniel reacts the way people want to dig at, and better yet he even reacts poorly to the few people who do offer sound advice (like the freaking VET and many others who have dealt with dog attacks).
I said it in a previous video, the reason people clung onto Bear's neuter was because they already saw Daniel blaming Bear and the added so called 'injustice' of neutering him just got them fired up and got them a topic they could scream about.

Glad you finally got the cows, donkeys and donkey poodles in the new pasture. I know it took awhile but it's good you gave those guys a chance. Don't pay the naysayers any attention. Your animals, your choice. Having your animals fixed keeps alot of animals out of the pounds. Keep doing what you are doing, keep being true to yourself. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.

That’s great. Great to have the additional pasture land to use. So glad Earl is improving and Bear has been fixed. I hope they will eventually make up. So glad you have done what you have done to take care of them and be able to keep them. I know you love them.

@@jennifermassie7227 Dog Bear's size vs dog Earl's size do not leave wounds like that or in that location. It would be more likely that if it was a dog it was a stray or even Gemma. I would love to hear about how the family is treating Bear, especially when Earl is around, as the so called 'attitude change' Daniel mentions may just be Earl being hyper-sensitive and picking up on every little thing.

Earl clearly is a dog with the purpose of family interactions. Earl sleeps inside and in the bed, while Bear is for protecting the animals.
One is a farm dog, who lives and sleeps in the pastures, the other is a dog who lives in a farm residence and sleeps in a warm bed with a blanket and comforter.
I have watched your channel now for about three years! I’m always amazed about the comments people leave. How would they feel , react to someone making the stupid comments about their life? Definitely would suggest planting rye grass even though it’s a little late to be planting
plant some rye… just sprinkle it out there because it grows all winter. As teenagers we used to write messages in “friends” yards with rye grass seeds. It was funny then, I cant imagine what the parents thought of it though! Our messgaes were SHINING all winter long! Luckily, we were not really mean spirited sonthe messages were not tooooo horrible! But it did teach me how hearty rye is! Rye kept on growing and growing no matter how often they pulled it up! 😬

I like the interlocking pasture system. I've done something similar at my place. It's nice to be able to shut of a pasture, if needed, for grass growth or whatnot.

Daniel, we had a dog who just passed away a month before he would have turned 21. He was a mutt but we loved him so much. His named was Graham and he had a problem with not remembering people or other animals and we feared he would hurt someone. We got him fixed and it was the best thing we could have done. Like I said, he lived to be 20 and I don't think he would have if it wasn't for THE FIX. You did the right thing for YOUR dog. You know him better than anyone thinks they do. Love the love you have for your animal babies and your family. God Bless you all. Till next video.

Ah Daniel I'm so sorry your getting trolled,nasty people it's normally jealousy.I have a farm and dogs 2 of which are Chihuahuas..yep and they love it,dogs fight all the time and accidents happen,so what's the big deal!I so agree with you on the horizon and looking back,we just got to relax and enjoy things when my darling wife passed..just heart broken,when I look back and see all the work we did and what we achieved together it sometimes changes your perspective on things but I'm 100% sure she wouldn't change a thing,we had so much fun so now I have my memories, I miss her soo..you two keep moving forward as you are and ignore those who aren’t..

Do you have animals? Of course they have hearts and souls. They love us unconditionally and if we are happy or sad they know how to react to comfort us or join in and be happy along with us. I went with a friend to her church and was enjoying the ministers sermon until she said animals don't have souls. I felt like standing up and saying ""and you call yourself a messenger of God """ but I didn't because it was my friends church but I never went back and i tell anyone who brings this subject up about that minister and her so called sermon.

There was a barrier between Bear and Earl too, I think Earl knew this and knew he was some what safe.

I'm confused. Its his dog, I don't care I just feel like Bear now is getting some negativity from the family when at the end of the day they admit they dont know for sure what happened.

I was raised on a farm and am totally with you on what is best for your livestock. Bear is a good dog and does his job. Just delete those that don't understand what is good for the whole. I enjoy you and your family. Faith, love, joy and laughter is why I am here.
The cows look like they are loving their new pasture. I would definitely be putting a water trough out the back for them, it'sa long way to go to the barn just to get a drink. Near the gate behind the house would be a great spot. If you put an automatic filler you won't need to do anything other then clean it out every now and then.
Keep up with what you’re doing. Some people must be unhappy with everything in their life and don’t know how to change it or refuse to change, and feel the need to try and make everyone else unhappy.
The cows look great on the back pasture, Earl looks really good and you get alot of natural fertilizer for your garden.

Your cows look so happy with their new roomy pasture! The alpacas and donkeys will love it too. It will be so nice to see them from the house, too. Ya, I noticed how he shy away from Bear when he came next to the fence. Hopefully with time they will be ok again..but never left alone together without supervision. I'm glad to see the bigger animals having good pastures to roam. They look alot happier. 😆 God Bless.

I'm glad you don't let the negativity get to you. You did good by having Bear neutered. He will live longer and be healthier for it. People who post negative comments are trying to make themselves feel superior by tearing someone else down. They can't see how ugly it makes them look.
I live by the saying, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." I wish more people would follow that advice, more now than ever before.
Bear is your Livestock Guardian Dog for your WORKING FARM. Earl is great, cute as can be, but when everything's said and done he's a PET, he makes your lives happy but he doesn't help you put food on the table. People don't seem to get it, Bear is a part of what keeps your farm a success and lucrative enterprise. Without him, you lose your ability to make a living, NO Farm, NO TH-cam Channel, NO selling your merchandise.

Anyone who criticizes you guys are just gnats, if you get my meaning. My Mom used to say "People who live in glass houses should never throw stones" and that is what they are, people who live in glass houses. I enjoy watching your videos. They remind me so much of growing up on my parents' cattle ranch. As for Earl being a farm dog, Mom had a long-hair Chihuahua/Japanese Spitz X who lived on the ranch. He was only inside at night. He used to play with the horses and my baby brother's pony, as well travel around the borders of the ranch. If ever there was a dog that could be considered not a farm/ranch dog due to his breed, it was Scoshie. However, he loved his life on the ranch. Hang tight and much respect & love from Northeast Oregon.

I enjoy watching your videos. Your family is loving and sweet. I aim to one day have more animals. We have dogs and cats. Live in California at the moment but moving to Colorado where my kids and grandkids are. We all want goats and after seeing your cows, I want them too.

I dont get it with the haters.
