- After moving in 3 months ago, our basement has become a catch all. We have things we have particularly unpacked and boxes that haven’t been touched. Toys everywhere and so much more! Please no judgement!! 😅. Help me get a start on this mess and stay tuned for more!!

For the toys: we layed the cube shelf on the side, so the kids can access it easier and you can store toys on top. And I would move it im the corner directly next to the play area.

I'm just in the first part of your video, but I want to comment on something you said : nobody is expecting you to wash your hair or put some make up on to declutter your basement 😀
I think a lot of people just want to see real life, real situations, real struggles because this is what they are experiencing.
Yes! This is what I had to tell myself. Being a new creator I struggle with wanting to always put my best foot forward, which usually means fixing myself up like I would if I were doing/going anywhere else. But usually when your cleaning that is not the case, so I had to remind myself of that and just get to work and not let that stop me from filming. Thanks for your support! ❤️

It is a good sized space. I’m excited to be able to finish it in the future. The boys will then have their own room and I plan to have a “hang out” area down there for all the kids to come and have fun! ❤️
I liked your comment about cleaning and curling your hair before cleaning. …. Just the fact that I don’t have to do my hair either, can motivate me to clean my own space. ……. Love how your kids like the camera….hi from Quebec
Quebec, wow! How neat! I’m glad I’m not the only one! 😂 sometimes I feel like I can get more done when I’m in my comfy clothes and messy hair. Doesn’t seem like I have many days like that right now. It would be good to emulsion the walls to make them look better. You could buy some shelves to store your totes. Keeping same holiday totes together for easier finding

I actually took 4 boxes of things to the resale shop and donations from this video! I will have a lot more to take once I get through the rest of the basement!
