@@hangerbird thanks for checking it out! UV glue is always a good choice, I ended up just using CA glue around the edges because it settles down into the cracks quite a bit. There’s so little space in the back of the ship so you have to do everything you can to fit the Shuttlebay
Interesting to see blue doors in that minuscule interior. While certainly not an absolute, we saw far more red doors positioned throughout the standing sets, so my mind reflexively expects to see them for the shuttle bay as well.
Good Job. You are very patient. I wonder how you might use a laser engraver to print or cut a mask for painting small details. I suppose the engraver could etch a great deal of small features that could then have paint rubbed onto it like silk screen printing, using a squieegee
@@TheWadetube thank you so much! There’s vinyl mask plotters that have a small knife that cuts out shapes that work very well, they’re expensive but hopefully I’ll get one soon!
I usually just let out some CA glue in a cup and use a toothpick to apply it on the photoetch, the best quality CA I could find is by bob smith industries
@@fdwsr71 they call it “gap-filling” and it’s in the purple bottle. It’s a perfect middle ground between extra thin and think. It can also be used as a gap/seam filler as well. Enjoy!
I'm in. I love these interior builds.
@@Blowinshiddup thanks for checking it out! There will be some more interiors in the future 👍 ones going to be a voyager shuttle bay

@@Redfern42 that is interesting! I wonder if there is a “in universe” reason for it or if the the studio model builders just had blue paint on hand
