Great video! I like to watch these before I start my maintenance just to get my thoughts and plan straight. I also made a hook too from a coat hanger that is perfect for pulling the fuel filter out.
I am having no gas prime in my bulb..goodness, it sat a few weeks and no start. I see gas in the back side of the white plastic part . (where the plastic films is) but no fuel in side if bulb ..someone told me check valve clogged. Can I clean or soak the plastic white part or where can I trust to buy a who carb. I can do easily what u just did so, I should be able to complete the rest..minus tuning
Just did it myself on my SRM225 and works great! I was wondering Jon is that smaller fuel filter just a newer version? I noticed it was different than the last one that had that metal ring around the top of it
@Dylan Pratzner yes sometimes they just update it a bit and it might change size slightly, if it's a huge difference you might want to look into it by questioning your dealer and see what they say. and most of my experience it doesn't seem to make much of a difference but some of your stronger more powerful tremors might actually need a bigger size filter as they suck in more fuel but so far I've had no problems with a bit of a size difference
@@JonsDailyHustle okay cool yeah I just wanted to make sure before I put it on and used it, I didn’t wanna break or mess it up. my SRM225 is smaller compared to other trimmers so I think it’ll be fine. Anyways good luck this year and keep up the good work! I’ll be watching haha👍💯
@@dylanpratzner3247 hey man thanks for the support I appreciate it. Good luck to you as well. Nothing wrong with using the 225, that's all I use...it's perfect for me so far

Yea I'd say you have a vacuum leak issue somewhere. Could be a small hole in the line or in the tank, or you have a blockage I'm the fuel line
