I’m not a preacher..But I do like this Bible, because it’s so easy to see the verse numbers. I I much like refer this edition to the paragraph
format.

Yup. When I see single column non verse by verse, I just see a wall of text.

Although I much prefer double column Bibles, this is really nice. It's just weird to see the ESV in verse by verse. I've come to expect to see the ESV paragraph format. The NKJV has the best layout of any Bible I've ever seen. Great review.

Informative review, thank you. For me this would be more my pick for a preaching/teaching Bible that the first one simply because single column paragraph is my least favorite format for preaching/teaching. I, too, expect a "China Bible" to be more value priced, but the price will probably come down in time. Lastly, for me, a preaching/teaching Bible needs neither concordance nor maps.
I won't be jumping on it anytime soon but may down the road if I find one used.

That's a tough one. I'm terrible at choosing between them, but here are my thoughts... For carry, I'd prefer the Topaz because it's thinner. This one is better for notes because you can place the note next to the verse. both are great for preaching. I think it really depends on if you prefer a single column or double column.
