As usual you made me laugh when you sung to your "baby bibles" lol 😀 It's fun to see someone making great videos that keeps us amused as well, plus learn something. Great review. I'd love a large print, single column, verse by verse, wide margin Bible. No references and no maps or concordance. Goat skin and thick, good quality paper. 3 or 4 ribbons. A bunch of lines pages in the back. That would be my ultimate preaching Bible.
I’ve been considering getting The pauls leather co NASB Large Print Thinline with possibly a PLCO x Scripture Typed into the cover of the leather. It’s more slimed and really comfortable bible from what I hear.
Thanks for the review. When is Crossway going to come out with a 9pt font, single-column Bible? I wish they would combine the single-column preaching Bible with the Legacy Bible and make a 9pt font, single-column Bible!
I still love my cambridge NASB. The only thing that eats away at me is the fact that it's single column. It eats me!!!! But none the less, I haven't found a bible I like more. I will say though, I still do love my NASB thinline I've had for maybe 12 years or so. It was cheap and did the job. And still gets a lot of love! I think if my cambridge was double column, for me, it would be peeeeerrrrrfect!
So, Jason, looking for a single column Bible to have for life, personal reading, etc. (I'm not a preacher) Would you then suggest the heirloom single column? It's $35 more.

Just did a review about the NKJV preaching bible and feel the same way....It is cool but they made some odd design choices esp the liner and no margin?? The print is awesome though brother and the paper is nice but underwhelmed I was to😉 Thanks for keeping it real my friend.
The feathering is gonna stop after a day of use bro...its just static study bibles do that. Its a sign of a non premium bible that hasn't been feathered and the paper being to thin. I'm worried about crossway cause their quality control has always been top notch even their China bibles. I hope this isn't a pattern cause I've seen and heard this from others not just you.😕 I love Crossway their bibles rock but this one is not one of them.
All that mess, glue, etc you got with it is so weird, & then dems ribbons! What up wit dat?? 😂. If I preached, it def wouldn't be with that bible 🤷. (And why the 5 thumbs down? Don't like da video or da bible? 🤔)

If it was double column I’d buy one as a utility Bible. It’s definitely more utility than heirloom.

I think the feathering you like that keeps the Bible flatish in your hand will go away as you separate the pages.

I'm doing Dr. Horner's bible reading plan where you do 10 chapters a day from different sections, so it needs to be able to handle 10 thin bookmarks.
