Addiction is a disease, no doubt. Not 100% that he is on anything. But I hope for his sake that he stays healthy.

4th of July Weekend 2011, I was forenate enough to see Puddle of Mudd in concert Wes was cordial and, really nice to all his Guests we had fun and,had an awesome time Wes is the best I thought he seemed pretty down to Earth and, gave him a hug before I went back home& wished him well on his tour he was utterly grateful for that I have not had any problems with him he's a sweet man from what I remember.
He is a decent guy no doubt, but he suffers with addiction issues that cast a bad image on his name unfortunately. Hoping he continues to better himself, although he just 'fired' his entire band as of 2024 so idek anymore

I think that the sad fact is that Wes is brain damaged after his years of abuse, so is always gonna seem drunk or high even if he isn't. I mean I am not saying he isn't in fact drunk or high here or many other interviews recently, but I think he might also just be naturally irratic nowadays due to what substances have done to him over the years.
