      maybe because you're not making use of the teacher enough. often teachers are the most valuable resource which are underrrated and underused. if you listen in class and don't understand something, ask them. they're teachers for a reason. they will help you. don't blame it on your teacher when you were the one that had 6 weeks of opportunities to clear your doubts

    My teachers taught us TEEL, which is the same as what you have but with a linking sentence at the end

    I was supposed to comment on this months ago but I forgot. Lisa Thank you so much I watched your whole playlist on Language Analysis. When I was first introduced to the topic I was confused. The playlist seriously helped me to understand how to think when given an article to analyse and write in a way that will make you stand out. When I did my language analysis SAC I topped the class with 38/40!!! I definitely recommend your content to all my friends who want to do well and improve in English.

    somehow that happened this year for me too, I was always struggling to get even a B+ and now, it kind of just clicked and tbh got easier to write it. The thing I found is that people get caught up in explaining the example and thus do not give the effect. I.e. this connote a sense that _______. although it seems like the effect, it is not.

    What if you say "This makes the audience to", is that also acceptable?

      ‘Makes’ is definitive as well. It assumes that the persuasive effect DOES work. I’d switch out the ‘makes’ :)
