maybe because you're not making use of the teacher enough. often teachers are the most valuable resource which are underrrated and underused. if you listen in class and don't understand something, ask them. they're teachers for a reason. they will help you. don't blame it on your teacher when you were the one that had 6 weeks of opportunities to clear your doubts
@@evan.5967 relax why u deeping it😂some teachers aren't good at explaining stuff and they may not understand them or like the teachers way of learning. If this girl helps them, then shes doing her job
I was supposed to comment on this months ago but I forgot. Lisa Thank you so much I watched your whole playlist on Language Analysis. When I was first introduced to the topic I was confused. The playlist seriously helped me to understand how to think when given an article to analyse and write in a way that will make you stand out. When I did my language analysis SAC I topped the class with 38/40!!! I definitely recommend your content to all my friends who want to do well and improve in English.
Love ur vids Lisa, but could u do a separate video explaining all the writing techniques and their purposes in a text? Like what exactly is a contention and how it differs from point of view and so on.....
My study guide 'How to Write a Killer Language Analysis' has more examples on how to use the TEE rule, including full essay examples using the TEE rule if you want to see it in practice: bit.ly/2QOiUy4 🥰
Thank you so much for your content, I just finished watching your 'how to find good quotes' video and was about to search for language analysis & scrolled through your channel & found it!!!
somehow that happened this year for me too, I was always struggling to get even a B+ and now, it kind of just clicked and tbh got easier to write it. The thing I found is that people get caught up in explaining the example and thus do not give the effect. I.e. this connote a sense that _______. although it seems like the effect, it is not.
we were taught to write abt the intro first and then in the body we could have grammar structures, and similarities . differences and then conclusion we should have a minimum of 6 para. does that work too?
yo! i am currently love 'mysteries finding' about universal and on earth! in earth mysteries about different thingss like about pyramids/nature and about the universe who created univerese and dark matter etc i love these two. can u tell me career about these combination of these two? please ? i tried a lot but cant find....
Hi there, thanks for your comment! 'What how why' is another great option for your analysis. Here's a blog about this method if you'd like to read more about it specifically: www.vcestudyguides.com/blog/what-when-how-why. Hope this helps!
I have a English essay tomorrow and your videos and blog alone in 1 hour have given me more knowledge than my teacher in 6 weeks of class
I love this! Good luck!

My teachers taught us TEEL, which is the same as what you have but with a linking sentence at the end

is it better to use the sentence starters in an English SAC?

Thanks, im about to do an exam ;-;

What if you say "This makes the audience to", is that also acceptable?
‘Makes’ is definitive as well. It assumes that the persuasive effect DOES work. I’d switch out the ‘makes’ :)
