No I wasn’t working. I did it while I was in high school. But I’m working full time now and in RN school. So far with proper time management I feel like things are going well
There’s always one to two supervisors on duty for night shift. Or you could always go ask another floor nurse. On my unit night shift has at least 2 nurses
Are you going for your RN? Or something else? Great video. You make some good videos… phlebotomist, but thinking of becoming LVN… RN seems like more pressure. I need to take baby steps !
Yes I am going for my RN. & thank you. 😊. RN only seems like more pressure when your new and getting the hang of things. Once you get comfortable it feels natural. But lvn is definitely a great option for quicker entry into nursing. It pays well and offers great job security. I always will recommend ppl go for it.
I currently trying to pass my per-requesities A&P 2 it's Killing me! I cannot pass. I am really doubting myself if I can go for Nursing or switch my major.
Don’t give up. Focus on trying to get a B in ap 2. It may be hard to get into these public nursing programs, but the private ones are ready to take anyone who will pay. & nursing will definitely allow you to pay off any student loans
Point click care. And notes are done only on the important ones ( changes, Medicare notes, new admissions, antibiotics etc). I know it sounds like a lot but out of 18 pts I probably do notes on 8 of them max

You're
I’m happy to be back. It’s not easy working full time. Doing school and trying to do TH-cam. But I really want to try my best to be consistent
@@rachela23 you're doing great!
New here… if you haven’t already, will you go over charting tips for new grads please
Night shift nurse here. 10-6:30. Good shift for me. Pm shift is okay. Never do am shifts. 6am is too early to be productive for me lol
lol they can’t pay me enough to do am shifts. Too loud and too many personalities
@rachela23 Yesss girl, everyone too damn triggered on that shift for me😂 they need more than just coffee.
If you do night shift...when do you sleep?
missed seeing your videos! how many residents do you usually have whether it’s the evening or night shift?
❤️. Evening 18 night 28
I want to ask. While you were an lpn student were you also working and also if you were, how did you

Do you have to move up to an RN or can you stay at LPN??
You can stay an LPN if you want to. But if you want to make more money with less hours then you want to move up to RN
@@rachela23 ohh okay thank you!
