I am staying in sindhi residential colony in bandra suburb of mumbai city and it is my fervent wish that sindhis should get together more often to discuss many society related grievances and difficulties that i as a person and possibly many others face in our daily existence. I agree that we are better off than others of our kind in pakistan. Instead what is happening is that in the lure of monetary gain we are losing our cultural values, and the sindhis are drifting apart and in the process of assimilating themselves into the wider arrena are becoming more attached to other communities and as a result i feel often neglected and deprived by our very own affiliates such as our own extended family members.

Miss Tolia , still we have Heerabad , a well renowned area for urban residence or you can call downtown of HYDERABAD city named against Seth Heera-lal , We still Have Diya-raam-jethmal (DJ-CV college) at karachi. So you were our brother by language and you are still our brother by language , except religion we are almost same in all customs, traiditions , ritauls and all aspects of daily life .

Sindhis suffered most during partition that was most foolishly handled by than administration of India and Pakistan and left Hindu people at their own and Sindhi people were looted and migrated Hindu Sindhi almost lost their language culture property etc.
The Story of Sindhis have never been told. Still no one tells the story to full extend. But now it is time to immigrate to Canada, Australia, New Zealand and many more countries. The big question is how Sindhi Hindu were such a small population. That cannot be understood.
Partition was a callous and cruel idea foisted by the departing British on Indians. The bloodbath than ensued was especially gruesome in the Punjab. Refugee on foot joined 'kuflas' or convoys as long as 40 miles stretched from Pakistan to India and vice-versa. They suffered thirst, hunger and attacks by marauders on their way to their new countries. Trains filled with dead bodies of refugees would arrive at Lahore and Amritsar. Gandhi, Nehru and Jinnah are responsible for this human misery not forgetting Churchill and his ilk. The British left India in a mess for their own vanity.
Very sad story of Partisan of Pakistan and India. My brother's wife's family were living in Karachi. They left every thing in Karachi and came to Bombay. It is good that Modi has given rights to Hindus coming from Pakistan will be given Indian citizenship. Similar things happening in West Bengal. What is the way out?

Moreover, knowing the fact for which v never thought that Punjab was lined hence Punjabi migrant had option to settle again in their homeland ,where as no option for Sindhi Hindus is bitter n heart tearing fact.

If the sindhi community, genuinely feels for each other then they should 'forge' a strong bond between themselves; but this does not seem to be happening in india; the older parentage that migrated from Pakistan were more conducive and sympathetic and helpful to each other but the present sindhi offsprings are quite the opposite; they are only after 'fleecing ' their own ; i cant help 'feeling' that if they had been more helpful to the sindhi muslims in particular they might have fared better. There are several similar stories for people on the other side. India is the world's most unsafe country for women with rapes happening every 3secs. Please explain why? What happened in 2002 Gujarat riots, and for that matter every 'riot' (aka state sposnored terrorism) that happens in India ? I am sure you were alive then. Women and children were raped mutilated burnt. I was listening to the story as a general partition story but the agenda became clear towards the end where the claims that 'muslims' were always abducing little girls and the tension between muslims and hindus always existed started. Sindhis were a flourishing and rich community in present Pakistan, how if they were in so much danger from local muslims were they able to get so wealthy. Great work doing the propaganda for the current govt though.
