I absolutely remember where I was artistically two years ago. That was when I discovered your channel while searching for glazing techniques. I have not stopped learning from you ever since. I can't even begin to tell you the personal growth as an artist( and human being ) I've experienced these last two years. You literally changed my work and the way I go about it. And as you know I get lost every now and then, but you and the group always pick me up! I'm so totally grateful. Thank you Marie Louise.
It never occurred to me, until watching and listening to you, that creating 2 paintings at the same time could actually be so relaxing and so satisfying! I recommend doing this to anyone who has yet to try it. I can relate to feeling a certain pressure while creating just one painting. I tend to feel like it needs to be "perfect," which leads to tensing up, feeling "boxed in." Great, incredibly useful advice!
Hello Painters 🎨 The sunflowers from last summer inspired me to paint two semi abstract paintings of Sunflowers. 🌻🌻 I used acrylic ink and acrylic paint on watercolor paper. The paintings ended up having a bit if of a Sumi (Sumi-e) Brush Painting/Chinese brush painting look to them, which I really like. Wishing you a lovely and creative week ahead ☀
I love❤, the amount of information 💓,. 💝.of this 💯,.💓,💖interesting tutorial ,💞 thanks for the beautiful video you share with us., Thanks for sharing,,,.,❤,💓.
I love the way you paint! I think I was a bit more free for 2 years ago... By that I mean that a played more, not so "afraid" to do anything "wrong". Now, when I have learned more I sometimes feel trapped in the result thinking instead of letting myself be more playful and not think about the resultat, I need to be more focused on the process instead. And to have fun during my painting time. So thank you for your video today, in several ways❤️🎨
Just come across your channel and love what you create, I love abstract and these two pieces look fantastic, would love to see you create more abstract pieces, thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you Marie Louise for this great tutorial. I love all your tutorials, they are the best! I agree that we are always learning and need to remind ourselves of that so as not to get despondent. I also like the idea of setting an intention or goal before commencing a painting. Very helpful.
I like how you mix media. I’m getting very stuck in learning water color and wondering how to work with inks and going back to some acrylic Your process is so friendly Thank you again
Thankyou Marie Louise - I’m still trying to learn to be looser and less harshly judgemental of what I produce - your videos are a great and welcome resource 🙂I’m enjoying the journey. Like you, I really don’t do well under pressure - ‘rabbit in the headlights’! Interesting that the pressure is all basically self imposed 🙄
I love how you use the inks to create a kind of watercolour abstraction background which can be applied to so many settings. These paintings are gorgeous- I have so much to learn!
