To be fair the instalment system is probably the most realistic, it just feels a bit cheaty because the game doesn’t seem to give any real punishments for it
It would be worse if the plan was to move teams every few years - but if you're staying in the same place, you'd feel the implications of it if it didn't work
Instalments is how many transfers actually go in RL. And if you spend too much and have poor results, you will feel the effects in few seasons; mainly in terms of transfer budget which would be lowered from those 180m to maybe 40m or even no budged in few years. % of transfers would also decrease to maybe even 10%
@@vinkobarisic253 that’s my point, it is realistic however you can put stupid amounts on the “never never” and have no actual punishment for it where you would in real life unless you are Chelsea or someone similarly backed
I did the auction method to get a super high offer for Jovan Milosevic But, since he wanted to join Newcastle and they dropped out early on, he decided Leeds not good enough for him - and oh, he decided it 2 hours before the transfer window closed and about 10 minutes before his replacement was supposed to sign on a loan deal from Liverpool. Nearly found myself with one of the two sitting out for half a season just because the offer I got at the end was from the "wrong team".
Those destabilising methods also work to persuade a player who may not quite have fancied a move to join also. In FM22 I managed to persuade Raul Moro from Lazios youth team to join after a few months of watching his games alongside the above methods. Thats one you didnt use that helps btw, going to the schedule for their current team.and selwcring games to watch. You can quit the match view after a short while but it counts in the press as you watching his games, and can even lead to becoming favoured also if I recall correctly.
Indeed. Also after a while of sending your scout to watch their games you’ll start to see it referenced in reports. Couple of years ago, I had a sentence along the lines of “Pijpers is not reportedly interested in a move, but appreciates that *scout* had been to watch him play on 117 occasions.”
Great video, I have always used instalments, it basically gives you like 4x your initial transfer budget. I have however never used the auction method, but I will do now, like RIGHT now. Thank you.
the best guide i have ever seen.. please do one for scouting.. but not for scouting wonderkids, there million guides about wonderkids but 0 about finding a good player for your first team (and why not incude both in the scouting methods video)
In my last FM24 save, I was at Groningen and my goal was getting trophies with them as soon as possible. I had gotten so many players as free transfers but when ı tried to sell them next season, i didnt got the money i want. I sold so many players cheaper than its market value just for making profit and getting more talented free players. But when our success was considered, we deserved better prices. At the end the save has gotten more boring day by day and i'm right here for this video. Thank you for that! I found installment method a little bit cheaty but the auction method will be my addiction in my next FM saves :) Greetings from Turkey 😅
I found the auction one a few fms ago, accept a wrong team so re offered the player out then found it out, but the instalment one would have been beneficial for me before I paid 365m for Haaland on my arsenal save 4 seasons in 😂
I somehow manage to get unrealistic bids for my players, however my players simply refuse every single contract they are offered and by the end of the transfer market their value of the bids I'm receiving has diminished to half or even a quarter of the original bids. It's a pain in the ass..
With the installments method wouldnt it juat be better splitting the remaining cost evenly throughout the 6 years. Seems more logical and a safer method of doing it. I didnt realise you could stack them either which is good to know. Lost out on a few signings because i didnt want x ammount coming out over the next 3 seasons
The important factor is to not put any near major installments because it will rip your current finances or budget apart into club investments, happens at clubs with good reputation but not strong finances like Bayer Leverkusen and all. Use them wisely or else mid season you might meed to sell players to generate funds to be in limited payroll.
I disagree with your first tactic. A good manager balances the books and leaves the club he inherited in better financial standing. The second tactic is fine but I usually move on if a target has just renewed their contract. A good manager can usually find an alternative in the market. However, I really like the auction idea. There's no shame in drumming up speculation to sell an unwanted player at a higher price. Good video.
Going to try the dangle and bait; & bait and switch method tonight. Got a Blackpool save just now, but we are absolutely skint. Need to sell some players to be able to get players in, but getting absolutely no solid offers.
So about selling players - what is the best thing to do? I have a guide value 70-80M player that is my 2nd option and 3 stars. He doesn’t get a lot of game time. I’ve tried selling him via the transfer room at 50M so 20m cheaper and he doesn’t sell. Do I sell him for cheaper with incentives in the future?
Happened to me with Florian Wirtz I submited offer for him which was rejected and later on I got message saying that he’s frustrated that his transfer wasn’t successful and handled transfer request to his club
Lets say player wants 100k salary. Offer a player clauses: yearly salary rise 50%, and max pay rise you can after 30 matches played. Then try offering 25k salary, if he is mad try 40k and he probably signs. Sit him on the bench as much as possible in the league without him getting unhappy. Then after 2-3 months re-sign him and he will ask some 65k and probably without those clauses. Like all hacks, its a gamble that may backfire but it often works
what would happen if i sold a player before the installment schedule ran out would the money still be transfered? i guess so but i know you can get rid of 50 games clauses that way but my bet would that I'd still have to pay it right?
little confused on why the auction method doesn't work for me. whenever I accept an offer from a club the tranferroom greys out and says "player has already been offered via transferroom and cannot be offered around again until clubs have reviewed the situation" please help
Coming here a few months later to say I’ve been trying for hours and it just doesn’t work. Teams either still completely low ball you or you only get 1 club in at a time
Do you know if this will also work for fm touch? I know the installment works but i can never seem to make the auctions work maybe im doing something wrong idk
I am under contract with Messi, Mbappe, Simons, Son and many stars in Newcastle. I dominate the game and shoot at least 20 shots in the match, but I only score one or two goals. I do not know where the problem lies.
is it possible to get a loan deal through after falling off in the early hours of deadline due to funds? Will the same player accept the contract offer for second time in the deadline?
I watched this video and became excited. Then spent two hours offering my players for transfer, for loan, dropped asking price from original 25-30 millions to 0 and stil got zero interest from the other clubs. Then went away crying.
Gotcha 👍 using the intermediaries has sometimes helped and very often it’s the wages that put teams off, so try offering out with some wage contribution? Sometimes it’s just no hope though!
by offering out these players via TransferRoom, doesnt it unsettle them? if they are an influential presence in the dressing room, doesnt it also unsettle/piss off other players? no bueno when coming in as a new manager. whats your advice around that?
you just need to see the info that the agent give to you on the top left of the screen around the player faces in the transferRoom they will tell you their condition for example “ my client would prefer to stay but he is open to speaking to other clubs” or “my client may not react well to being offered to others club”.
if you really want to sell the players but he is influential and you scared that will offending the some others players . just sell him and when the players wanna talk to you just pick the option “ i will find a better replacement “ cuz if you wanna sell him you probably gonna buy a better player anyway right? so they will not be mad and drop the concern , works for me anyway
tbh I tried installments method and either they patched it or I'm doing something wrong cause I tried same offer like in video for reference and they called the offer unaccaptable
Did not know you could haggle a loan into a full transfer. Unsettling the player I always try but currently on fm24 I'm not an attractive prospect just yet so players don't take me on
The game should default to yearly installments across the length of the contract. Anything else is just unrealistic. Essentially, all football clubs are just balancing assets against liabilities and balancing the two. FM is completely unrealistic in this regard.
i had one recently where selling a 32 year old to a saudi team and tried for silly money it was around 55 million saudi just loves throwing money around
Not needer, transfer listed, listed for loan. Offer for loan. If noone offers, try offering for some transfer and then hen offer comes in change transfer to loan and offer
You dont hahahah. Maybe on loan, and if they play well they might have staff players or even the club in favourites which might change their mind about a transfer in the future
i had no idea you could do multiple installments i only thought you could do the next 3 years. this is game changing for me😭
To be fair the instalment system is probably the most realistic, it just feels a bit cheaty because the game doesn’t seem to give any real punishments for it
Yeah I don’t disagree 💯

It's staright up cheating.
Auction 🐐 method, always my favourite selling technique. The instalment option will be used when I need to sign players.
I had no idea you could do installments that far into the future, I thought you could only do the next 3 years at most. Game changer.
Birinci yöntem 1:57
İkinci yöntem 6:04 (?)
Üçüncü yöntem 8:40 (?)
Dördüncü yöntem 9:44
Beşinci yöntem 11:57 (önce dördüncü yöntemi izle)
the first method you used is very realistic. it's basically how football clubs do transfers in real life.
This is my first ever FM game transferring over from FIFA, this video was so helpful. Subscribed 🐐
I didn't know you could stack instalments i thought the max was the 3 12 monthly one. That might be useful in the future :)
same here! awesome tips @Clayts
Same too😂
The selling methods are so simple but yet I've never thought of them myself 😅 This is going to be very useful, thanks!

This video was a game changer. I often struggle to get rid of the deadwood. Definitely try the auction method
I've already known about all these techniques for a long time except for 2, 3, 4 and 5.
ahaha
I paid in advance instalments 10/12 years ago and got told I was cheating.
A few years later it came out how MOST transfers were structured this way
In my last FM24 save, I was at Groningen and my goal was getting trophies with them as soon as possible. I had gotten so many players as free transfers but when ı tried to sell them next season, i didnt got the money i want. Tbf it’s not like clubs are paying the whole transfer fees up front IRL so if anything using installments is more realistic than not imo
Love this guy, vids are always great

Thanks, used auction method to raise transfer value from 750 k to 3 mil

I see the auction still works ❤
The auction is quicker if you negotiate with them you can increase it quicker just have to make sure you reject the lower offer each time.
If you offer them for a specific price, they won’t negotiate on it.
I think the auction method can be done a bit quicker by negotiating any other bids instead of just rejecting and offering out again
Yeah that’s a sort of a given but most of the time they are non-negotiable bids if you’ve offered out at a set value.
I'm just curious, how did you get that player details page? I love it
Yeah that Never Never method has blown my mind 😱😱
Happened to me with Florian Wirtz I submited offer for him which was rejected and later on I got message saying that he’s frustrated that his transfer wasn’t successful and handled transfer request to his club
Thank you sir, i hope this work on fm24 console edition!
Well this was a massive help.

Can you do a video on how to maximise a loan deal when loaning out players
is it possible to get a loan deal through after falling off in the early hours of deadline due to funds? Will the same player accept the contract offer for second time in the deadline?
or will have to wait for the next transfer window @all

Are the instalments locked regardless if you sell the player after let’s say 3 years?
Would you still incur that 5th year £20m?
Yes, doesn't matter if you sell the player

How do you start the auction method
