Kudos, Garrett! Way to be a good sport, bud! It was pretty easy to see that this was obviously all staged, but with a good message behind all of it. Neil, great job once again! To both of you, tractor on, have fun, stay safe, AND have a safe and happy 4th of July!!
I'd like to see Garrett's mountain bike track when he's done👍👍👍 You were a good sport, Garrett, letting your dad turn you into the "crash test" dummy like that😉
Garrett is a good sport to put up with dad and act the part. I bet he's a better operator than most adults on tractors. This video will be helpful to a lot of the idiots out there.
Great job Garrett! From the very start I knew you were much smarter than the gimmicks your Dad set up for you! And….I’m a thinking you deserve a NEW dirt bike of your choice for being a good sport! Great video and reminders for all of us! 👍👍👍👍
Garrett, I'm pretty sure absolutely no one who watched this video thought you didn't know what you're doing!!!! Just by seeing how well you did it wrong, it was clear you knew what you were doing!
I just got my loader (western pa)... i would love to have a whole series of the first time Dos and Donts. Not much content on the tube and would love to see more. I have watched your 50 hour service video half dozen times and wouldnt mind more content. Lets gooooo
Great video! As a former safety instructor seeing some of the ways people use equipment scares the living pajaggers out of me. Keep up these tip videos. Your presentation is fantastic!
I rarely comment. I really enjoyed this, firstly as it highlights issues most operators have worked through over time but mostly due to Garrets and Neil’s interaction. Obvious he was setup to fail in order to produce video. Hi from Oz.
Two suggestions for new tractor owners that do not get enough emphasis: 1. Put the rollbar up when in use if your compact tractor has a foldable rollbar. 2. The rollbar will not save your life if you don't wear your seatbelt. Great video, thanks.
Haha great video guys. I've often wondered why tractor loaders don't roll the bucket back near as far as a backhoe or articulating loader? I catch myself on occasion leaving the loader kinda high so the material doesn't spill out the front of bucket.
Neil maybe it was a bad angle and I couldn't see it, but make Garrett use the seat belt! It's one of the things I have to remind myself every time I get in the seat. If we are taught and practice safety at a young age it comes more naturally as we age.
@@MessicksEquip dang it, why are all the good tractor stores on the east side of the United States!?! We really need some good ones over here on the western side of the United States… particularly Idaho and Texas! But no wonder it’s so beautiful at Your place as Pennsylvania is apparently a pretty green state.
With nothing on the forks, if you raise the boom to full height, with full curl, a fork can potentially come loose and fall on cab depending on how the frame is made.
I don't have a loader for moving dirt ! I have a reversable scope that goes on the 3 point hitch. As I can move more dirt and or gravel with the scope than someone with a bucket. My scope was made for a much bigger tractor and is been modified to fit and work with my little 234 International hydrostatic 18HP. Tractor! The only thing that is bad for me is a very sore neck from turning around all day.
Move all 8 to the right 1 and add the first mistake to most tractor loader errors as (Not having a tooth bar on your loader bucket). There thats the biggest mistake.
I almost flipped my tractor 3-4 times in the past 2 weeks , roll overs are real and if you dont use your thinker, its gonna be tits up faster than you can blink and eye, now i took the backhoe off to use another implement but if you have the backhoe, use it for ballast it might make the difference from going home or going to the hospital or worse, life is far better with 10 fingers , 10 toes, 2 arms and 2 legs , and not in a wheel chair , safety first folks
Don't worry kid I could tell he was making a made up safety video from the start. I do thank you for the tips because I will be buying my first tractor soon and need to learn.
Neil, you need to work on your acting skills. Clearly the approach to the problem was deliberately flawed. All these difficulties allow the all-wise tractor guru to correct his bumbling apprentice. Your son was a good sport to allow himself to appear so inept.
Garrett I knew he was making you do that stuff. Shame on him. I have see you dad do some major screw ups. You are probably more cautious than him. Just Saying.🤔
Nice job, Neil. Your son gets an oscar for best supporting actor. LOL
Your son was a good sport! Great video with good tips.
Smart kid keeping his foot on the the brake while you're walking around the machine. Safety before efficiency. Well done raising him, Neil.
Good job Neil. Good to see you and your son together. Good family sense of humor in a great educational video on loader safety.
Kudos, Garrett! Way to be a good sport, bud! It was pretty easy to see that this was obviously all staged, but with a good message behind all of it. Neil, great job once again! To both of you, tractor on, have fun, stay safe, AND have a safe and happy 4th of July!!
I love the comment “Well not right now, maybe after you give me a couple more tips.”
Great video! Excellent info. Your son’s mannerisms, voice, and sense of humor are so much like you!
Props to Garrett for putting up with his Dad telling him to do it wrong, then getting yelled at. 🤣
I'd like to see Garrett's mountain bike track when he's done👍👍👍

Great video ending!!! Tim in northern TN
That was one of your best videos yet.
Like getting the family involved.
What a great sport Garrett is. Great video Neal! Garrett is a fantastic young man you have done a great job raising him!!!
Thank you for a very humerous safety video. Garrett was a good sport and Neil, you have an awesome son.
Glad you gave your Boy his disclaimer. Good kid
Great job Garrett! From the very start I knew you were much smarter than the gimmicks your Dad set up for you! And….I’m a thinking you deserve a NEW dirt bike of your choice for being a good sport! Great video and reminders for all of us! 👍👍👍👍
He'll be able to buy his own, with the residuals from this video... Right?
Your giving him ideas.
@@MessicksEquip :-)
Garrett is an incredible actor. Neil, you did your best.
Neil makes great videos with incredible value. Seeing father and son do this demonstration together was wonderful 👍
Guys, great video. Garrett, you are a good sport.
Great job and thanks for being a good sport, Garrett. This was both entertaining and informative.
Good job Garrett! Love the Kubota Orange shoes!
I'm right on the verge of getting annex tractor & with a bucket. These tips were spot on. Thanks.
Yep! Kid played the straight guy really well! Ya got a good one Neil.
Garrett, I'm pretty sure absolutely no one who watched this video thought you didn't know what you're doing!!!! Just by seeing how well you did it wrong, it was clear you knew what you were doing!

Great job with this video has to be one of your best videos. Funny, entertaining and useful! I would like to see the bike trail when done 👍👍
Garret did a great job with you being in “Dad mode” Neil! Hahhha!!! I did the same thing the other day with Addie as she was unloading SawHaul parts.
A very entertaining video to help new owners recognize their mistakes.
You are going to go far, Garrett!!!!! You both did a great job 👍👍👍
Neil, Garrett, you both did a great job helping to demonstrate efficient and effective loader work!
The one important tip your missed was wear hearing protection when running a tractor. Trust me going deaf is no fun.
Great video! As a former safety instructor seeing some of the ways people use equipment scares the living pajaggers out of me. Keep up these tip videos. Your presentation is fantastic!
Good information! Thnx
Awesome video y'all!!😊
LOL and another great video to you and your son ! ! !
Thanks for the awesome video, keep them coming!!
I rarely comment. I really enjoyed this, firstly as it highlights issues most operators have worked through over time but mostly due to Garrets and Neil’s interaction. Obvious he was setup to fail in order to produce video. Hi from Oz.
Good job Neil I didn’t know your second job was a comedian
👍Kudos to Garrett for playing along and making one of Dad's silly videos 🤪
Great video
Nice! If you have a BX EASE down that diff lock in low speed low rpm straight runs no turning and engaging. Many have blew them up! Great job guys!
Good job. I enjoyed the video.
Fub video, Garrett was great.
Thanks
...if you do own a backhoe use that to break up the pile, then spin around and use the loader...
Great fun, and good advice!
Two suggestions for new tractor owners that do not get enough emphasis: 1. Put the rollbar up when in use if your compact tractor has a foldable rollbar. 2. The rollbar will not save your life if you don't wear your seatbelt. Great video, thanks.
Anyone else have someone stand on the 3pt as a counterweight
Haha great video guys. I've often wondered why tractor loaders don't roll the bucket back near as far as a backhoe or articulating loader? I catch myself on occasion leaving the loader kinda high so the material doesn't spill out the front of bucket.
Raisin up a good kid there!!
Garret's a good sport. I was hoping you two had set up all that scolding.
Neil maybe it was a bad angle and I couldn't see it, but make Garrett use the seat belt! It's one of the things I have to remind myself every time I get in the seat. If we are taught and practice safety at a young age it comes more naturally as we age.
He was.
The kid is a good sport making the video
I like that he has Kubota orange tennis shoes.
hey dad, i'm ready for the video! think my outfit is ok? yeah, looks great. oh wait let's change the shoes ... i got you these orange ones 😁
He's a credit to you Neil
Neil, what town do ya’ll live in? I love the trees!
South Central Pennsylvania

I need a drink
Also sounds crazy, but I have seen the results of not wearing the seatbelt. This should also be mentioned
ROPS up, seatbelt on.
Garret needs a payrise.
Oh geesh. I feel bad for the young man. I did notice that he got a couple of digs back at his dad though. Good job boys.

Half of these times I probably have done maybe not with the letter all the way up but definitely can’t get in the pile or a screw hopper big

I was just waiting for the low hanging three point to get broke backing into something.
I'd love it if Messicks would create a grill guard for the m series, specifically the 7060. Love the videos though!
M-series is in the works.
@MessicksEquip I'm willing to test one lol. Just need to know when they are available.

If you think newbie people using tractors are dangerous, you should see people driving boats in the ocean. I can't believe more don't die.
Hire that young man!
Way to be a good sport, Garrett, and let your father make you a bad example of what not to do.
And rops up?
#1 buying a summit craptor
Sketchy stuff that machine is.
Tooth bar would help
Don't worry kid I could tell he was making a made up safety video from the start. I do thank you for the tips because I will be buying my first tractor soon and need to learn.
That's your son?! Were you like 12 when he was born???
Unless you give me another tip 😂
I wish people would spend more time doing what it is you are going to do and NOT telling me what you are going to tell me

I like your videos but this one was much different. You clearly went "ham" - overacting and way too dramatic.
All common sense.
