Great reaction video. I played 12 years of Rugby. I started to learn the game where I learned the fundamentals from my Uncles team at the University of Maryland when I was in Jr. High. When I was of age I started with them and joined the military where I went to Scotland and formed the 1st Navy team, but also played for a Scottish team and we traveled over northern Europe and ended my playing days in Panama where I played for a all military championship team. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to play. The All Blacks are definitely my favorite team and neither New Zealand, Australia or South Africa fail to deliver an exciting match.
On a side note, all 3 of those teams can't stand England and want to bury them anytime they play. That distaste comes from the early days of Rugby where England looked down on what they deemed were the lower classes of people.

From a South African🇿🇦 DIE HARD rugby fan to you my brother... You still need to go deeper into this rivalry. They have such a deep respect for each other that no matter who wins or loses; or if the match is clean or brutal... They will still have drinks at a bar together not just as different teams but as brothers in the sport of rugby 🏉 ❤

Great video!!! SA vs NZ rugby is not a game it's a way of life.
Rugby is all about tradition. In South Africa, rugby is your escape from whatever is going on here.

Mate that's just an All Blacks corporate pre-match promotional video. It doesn't begin to come close to touching on the real history of NZ-SA rugby. The days of NZ needing to bring in heavyweight boxing champ Kevin Skinner to sort out the scrum. The time when SA would not let Maori players go there, and NZ shamefully acquiescing. The dodgy hometown refereeing on tours (and it was always tours in the amateur era). The African boycott of the 1980 Olympics because of NZ playing SA in rugby. How the 1981 Springbok tour in NZ brought us to BLM level rioting between the boycott South Africa crowd and the "don't mix sport and politics" crowd. NZ prop Gary Knight getting felled by a flower bomb dropped from a plane. The Cavaliers tour and NZ winning the first world cup with SA absent. SA's years of exile. Suzie the waitress. NZ's first tour win in SA..... and so on.

Sean, may I suggest watching the award-winning documentary series, Chasing The Sun. Not sure if you can get it in US, but if you're interested, let me know. I think episodes 1-3 are on youtube. It tells the back story of the Sprinboks' 2019 win en the build-up. Many say it's one of the greates sports documentaries ever. Be careful not to only watch snippets on YT as it won't tell the whole story. You could even do an episode by episode. The series is THAT good.

If you want to see one of the greatest and most dominant Rugby players to ever step on the pitch, then check out Jonah Lomu. He hit like a Mac Truck and was fast. Fair to compare his toughness to Jim Brown, but much faster.

At one one wales was a force to be reckoned with back in the early 50s that was the last time the beat the All Blacks was in 1953 I think but I won’t be surprised if they beat the All Blacks very soon they are very good now in my opinion

I don't have time for typing political correct terms here. The entire world know that SA went through Apartheid. If you want to sugar coat terms that the entire world are familiar with, do it, but don't come and disrespect SA's who suffered under Apartheid. I am more educated than you think. And the Mighty All Blacks still streets ahead in most departments. They are just a couple steps ahead in the skills department. Graham Mourie best captain to tour SA. Colin Meads and awesome winger Bryan Williams best players seen on our shores. Don't believe the ratings that might show today's Boks are better than their rivals. Not at all. All Blacks the best

NZ paid some price for the Rugby contests with South Africa. Apartheid was a horrible price for humanity to pay. I understand that the Canadian reservation system became a model for South Africa and that is our truth and reconciliation burden. Sports can be a hope and a way up and forward but also a job and a symbol and an identity. The Springboks and the All Blacks will always be opposed and onside as a way for humans to go forward.
