Lucky enough to meet Tim at Cape Point yesterday. An absolute gentleman and happy to chat with everybody. Enjoy your stay in the Cape and travel safely.
It’s official, we are adopting Tim and his family😁 Thank you for your review of that match. Ellis Park at capacity, is something else. I’m really happy you got to experience that. Looking forward to the build up of this coming game. Your posts are the first I look for since the RWC🎉 Have a great time!
I agree fully on the front row of the rugby podcast bomb squad: Eggchasers, Wildkard, and Two Cents. Legends, from 3 different countries - England, Australia, and NZ. Brilliant.
I used to travel to SA a lot for work and miss it. It's great to see the warmth of the real SA fans because a few of their keyboard warriors give the wrong impression. What a game to have been at. Tim - I fear we are starting to lose you...

Vilikazi Street is very special in that it was the home of 2 Nobel Prize winners Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. Or so I have been told. There are surely not many streets in the world with that distinction. Keep up the good work.

Must say, when I found your channel last year prior to the world cup on like 15k subs I never thought that you will become this huge in SA. Told my mates about you while they were reluctant to have a view, now you are one of the best rugby ambasadors with your unbiased oppinions, even when the English play. I really rate your insights and have most definitely become my favorite stop for rugby insights - and now my one-stop-shop for insights on the GREAT country we live in! Ps. I hope your liver survives our treacherous waters
Tim the truth is, all we ever needed in SA was neutrality & fairness, and the proof is in what a celebrity you've become because of your ability to provide exactly that. Plus of course your sheer passion for rugby that we share with you.
Do you know why Tim is so beloved in SA, because we see an International making the effort to understand who and what we are. Bravo Tim! He has definitely a love for RUGBY.

Wonderful you came to South Africa to experience the magic Tim! Eggchasers is the Best rugby blog by far!! One rugby post-mortem point. Did you notice the turning point in the game was at 27-17 when the AB declined a relatively easy penalty kick to go for the try. Three points could have put the game out of reach of the Boks. And then Kwagga turned the ball over and the AB never got another sniff of the SA 22m area. That turnover was probably worth more than his try!
