She kinda reminds me of Elvira when she isn't in character and is Cassandra Peterson
Cassandra and Chloe (the pornstar) were epic groupies in the 70s and 80s.
Oh look, it's Kate Pierson. She Rocks and jams with Rockers. Legend.
Planet Claire, less known then Love Shack but no less epic imho.
Mike Hydropneumatic She drove a Plymouth Satellite....
I dunno, I know both of them, but it seems to me that in france it's the opposite... Planet Claire has even be used for some TV shows... Love shack is almost not known in france.
It's hard to forget the lyrics of that song. If ever I wake up in a place with pink air, red trees and headless inhabitants I'll know exactly where I am. :)
It definitely was awesome
Love that song
@@garryiglesias4074 That is why I love France, they are so French there...

Les Rita Mitsouko - Y'a D'la Haine
YOU were/ are by far the best thing about the B52s!
Great song. But "Roam" is better.
My favourite is Rock Lobster.
@@Dave_Sisson They were almost a completely different band in the early days, though. "Roam" is stylistically much closer to "Love Shack" so that's why I mentioned it.
@@Dave_Sisson
Same here Dave!
Dance this mess around is the best.
@@brujx4u799 If you're a hot bombshell who'd like to ravish me, I might agree with that.
But that's the condition.
Kate always makes me very happy, she has that rare gift.
Not going to lie, I could never stand this song when it was released.
I still cannot stand it to this day.
Good video once again on the origins of the song, still will watch it if i like the song or not.
Yep...I can't stand the song - so cheesy, but I'm viewing this to learn to appreciate other peoples' taste.
Every1 I know loves this song ...so the fact it makes people happy means I have an opportunity to be less judgememtal - & see it through their eyes.
This song never fails to make me happy and get me in my feet. I’m glad to see she is living well and happy.
Beautiful woman, just love her.
Me too!
@@DAdam-fo1md You're beautiful as well👊😜
Great Band, great video! Saw them at Heatwave, north of Toronto back in the 80's.
Beautiful line up, Talking Heads, Elvis Costello!
I LOVE KATE!!!
Don't ever stop my queen we are always at your service. We're so appreciative of you and the band.
Get Well Cindy 🙌💯
RuPaul is the DRAG QUEEN (with white shorts and afro) in the video!
The band actually was on Drag Race, judging!
Basically my favorite song of all time. I remember when it was released it was so fun. 20 years ago I worked in an audio equipment rental shop in the back of the Music Store. Every speaker that came and went got tested and it was with "Love Shack" the song was on repeat for years in the test rig. It's a great song for PA system diagnosis. I love the song 😎
I love the Schitt's Creek vibe of this video!
That is so funny. I just binged that series and thought the same thing.
That was lovely. Thank you.
I remember this song, had to be about 1989/1990 ??
Yes, 1989!
@@Top2000agogo Thought it may have been and thanks for checking out my channel!
This video was wayyyyyyy too short....ICONIC!!!!!!!!
They should be in the HOF if they aren’t already.
Nah- Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame is a joke and they're above that.
Watch what happened when Steve Miller received his accolade. It's on TH-cam.
One of the greatest voices ever. So, Kate, you wanted to make us happy with that song? You did...!
great lady, good song from way back when.
very timeless this song from Sound it grooves and sounds so funky, my god she is 71
So many years ago I first heard the B52s - still remain my favourite band ever!
She's 70? How??
Talented artist!
I'm guessing plastic surgeries and a lot of cosmetics. I ain't judging, just saying. Love Kate, she's amazing.
Well their debut album was released 41 years ago!
Rolling Stone named "Love Shack" the best single of 1989 and ranked it 246th on its list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
pretty cool to see, everyone loves the B-52's.
Great track but 'Give me back my man' was better
Garyf hell yeahhhh ❤️
As a huge fan, I never understand why people love "Give me back my man" so much. I mean, it is okay, but so many tunes WAY better in my opinion. But everyone is different!
I love Private Idaho!
