I hope with this final tour it means they'll focus on staying together and putting out more albums. Funplex was a great comeback for them and it's been a long time since.
Our yr 9 High School music class did Planet Claire (thanks to our hippy music teacher) at the yearly school concert...... the music teacher caught me having a joint in the toilets before the concert and we shared it to get rid of the evidence... them were the days.... lol
Loves them since my whole life-saw them singing live in 1990 “the deadbeat club” and we were dancing in the rain. Farewell, you will always be our gang!
This band provided me a welcome respite from repetitive disco tunes as a youth. I was so sick of disco! Along came the B52’s and they neither looked or sounded like anything I’d ever heard before. Got to see them in concert during their farewell tour in Boston for my birthday. Awesome.
Thank you thank you thank you all the members of the b-52's for the countless and I do mean countless hours of listening enjoyment when I was with the bands one of the bands I was with B-52 Rock lobster was considered the band tape because it was stuck in the cassette player in the van for over 2 years every time we got in a van all's we listen to with The Rock lobster CD for cassette as it was in this case also anytime we were with the bands or out of club in between bands they would always play a B-52 song and we all referred to it as Happy feet music when I say we all I mean we all metalheads rockers disco Queens the blacks the whites the browns the reds the youngs the olds the gays the streets everyone I mean everyone would get up and start dancing and bopping and we all had smiles I cannot thank you enough for that and all these memories I hope you all find peace and relaxation and you're coming days years and so on. 😝🤓😎👍👍👍

My dad gave me a tour tee shirt with all the members signatures on it, I'm talking about the eagles

Do yourself a favour, and buy Bouncing Off Satellites.
Very moving interview. This band really needs to be in the R&R HOF.
