Twenty years ago I worked at a Kubota dealership in NH. At the time the biggest TLB Kubota made was the L48. Back then the Kubota rep talked about a factory cab in the next couple of years. The sticking point was a flip up back window to allow the backhoe to come off and a panel to seal on its place. At the time we told the rep if Kubota made such a thing we probably order every L48 with this option. So Neil you are definitely not the only one
Beautiful.... and yes, I have an M62, a 2019 and would have paid extra for the cab, not for snow but for Arizona use in Summer, come on Kubota get with the program.
Couldn't agree more bout wanting a factory cab for the M62 Neil! We need a factory cab option for this M62. Especially with the weather conditions here in the northeast we need this as a customer for our buying options.
I own a new L47 and have owned several L series before including a 5740 with factory cab. I couldnt wait to get rid of the cab because there is VERY inadequate ventilation in factory cabs. You laughed at the windows... but if you want ventilation AND want to communicate with the world... you need open windows!! A couple out the back doesnt help you talk to someone on the ground. Kubota should put operable in the GIANT greenhouse doors... like the full size tractors like JCB or Cat. This 59 without ac must be like a sauna... and no dehumidification in winter must make it a bear to see in wet winter weather. I am glad to be cab free in my 47... but I blow snow in my F3060.... thanks for another great video.
Hey Neil, Kubota Sale person from up in Canada here, I get a request for a cab on an M62 every 2 months at least. Your not the only one asking - I've bothered my RSM a number of times on this, and so have my co-workers!
I had a m59 and sold it due to lack of a cab and haven’t bought another. I have two skid steers and a mini x with cabs and I would definitely buy a m62 with cab and a/c
A factory cab on the full line of kubota TLBs would be a game changer. The aftermarket cab is nice don’t get me wrong, but once you have had a factory cab with AC it would be hard to buy an aftermarket cab. Would love for John Deere to bring back the 110 TLB with a cab.
“This is a loud machine”... as someone who runs a M59 regularly, I agree. I always wear Bluetooth earbuds, they aren’t noise canceling or ear protection certified, but they dampen the noise well enough for me, and having music passes the time a lot faster. Also I use this said M59, with no cab, for commercial snow removal in the winter.... welp... just got to layer up real well.
Great stuff as always, Neil! I just bought an M62 with this Curtis Cab. It's awesome, as you point out, but my Bose noise cancelling headphones are a must. Would love a factory option someday
Kubota needs to offer a factory cab with AC. I ask Neil a couple years ago about a cab option and he said there was nothing going to be offered soon. So I opted to go with a JCB 3CX Compact, love it. I often run the AC even on cool days once the machine warms up and you start getting heat migrating into the cab. No AC would be a deal breaker.
I think it should be pretty standard on cabs to have both heat and AC, hell cars today have both standard you should be able to get it standard on a tractor with a cab too, considering the ridiculous prices all these toys cost anyways LOL.
Knowing Messick's reputation, I can imagine somebody at Kubota engineering is getting blasted buy a big wig saying...." you heard Neil....get cracking on it!"🤔💪👍
💥 Great video once again! Hope Kubota listens and gets that factory cab produced one of these years. Good looking cab by Curtis though. *Keep on tractoring!*
An L47 with a factory cab would be perfect for my needs when I buy a tractor in the next few years. We get 4 full seasons where I live and I'm not buying something without a cab and don't like how you have to sit outside with the BH92 on a Grand-L with a cab.
I agree, although Curtis does a great job making cabs for these machines, you'd think Kubota would be like dang we are missing out on some good $$$ lets make cabs for these high selling machines....the BX, B, LX,L, M have to be their high volume selling machines you'd think they would have a factory Kubota Cab, but at least we have Curtis if we really need a cab....I don't own a tractor, I just have a lawn tractor and no cab in the summer is fine, but dang it sucks using the snow blower in the winter without a cab....you end up drenched by the time you are done.
Hey Neil Its about time isn't it mate 😂 i been waiting ages now for a cab 👍 now that's a sexy machine now even tho it isn't factory but still awesome 👍 just wish I had a filed and a site front dumper and a load of monies lol
That’s real easy for me. I’ve had an L39 since 2008, and it’s been a fantastic fit for the jobs I use it on. I would have bought an M62 two years ago to add to my fleet.........IF they had a cab option. I don’t get it. Why does Kubota ignore the obvious?
Yes, but I can’t afford a newer moderate size backhoe. I’m stuck in the Used skidsteer market lol I wouldn’t buy anything without a cab I had a tragic experience at a job, in an open cab, few miles down the road from my car & a freak storm that came out of no where.
This is the 21st century there is no reason for a tractor to be open cab every tractor should come standard with a cab the option should be removing it
This is too big of a machine for my needs, but a cab is a make it out break it situation. Especially in the winter, it's just so much colder on a machine, especially where I am and the wind we get. I'm surprised this tractor doesn't have a factory can for it's size and price. It's near impossible to find equipment without a cab here.
This cab for the price is terrible. Why wont kubota offer a factory cab option? If i was to go aftermarket cab though it wouldn’t be a Curtis it would be laurin. I recently traded off my m62 after 4 years and got a svl75 cab and kx040 cab to replace it. Had a m59 for 8 years prior. Wont go back to the platform unless a factory cab option with ac is available.
I didn't even know there was a market for a tlb let alone a cab. Who uses those things!? They're big heavy clunky pieces of equipment. Old technology . I sold kubota for a while. There aren't hardly, if any, of those in the states to sell even if someone wants one. I sold one to a guy who "had" to have one. What an expensive, slow, plodding, overweight pile of dog crap compared to today's excavators and skid loaders. Sure it can do multiple tasks, but it doesn't do anything particularly well, especially on any kind of soft ground. Too heavy and too small of a footprint. Its ground pressure is incredibly high. Only good for a municipality where it won't see soft ground often, and at that point, one should just consider a full sized backhoe as it is much more capable. Bigger, stronger, faster, more digging depth, FULL CAB fromthe factory! The list goes on.
Rental yards, construction companies, and a lot of them go to people who simply want a compact machine with a swivel seat. Oh, and lots of landscapers. One of the smallest machines that can lift a skid of sod.
You speak for all us wanting a cab - not only in the North East, but in Canada - gets darned cold on a snowy blowy day up here.

Kubota, listen to Neil. He’s right there’s a market for the M62 with a cab.

Kubota: this combination isn’t supposed to be possible
Messicks: hold my beer
@6:59 😂😂😂

Hundreds of people outside kubato's factory protesting
"WHAT DO WE WANT"
"A FACTORY CAB FOR THE BIGGER TLBS"
"WHEN DO WE WANT It"
🤣🤣🤣
5 years later and we're still waiting for a cab tractor from the factory
Even us guys in the south really really want a factory cab for the A/C. We had a heat index here in Oklahoma of 108° yesterday
A factory cab on the full line of kubota TLBs would be a game changer. The aftermarket cab is nice don’t get me wrong, but once you have had a factory cab with AC it would be hard to buy an aftermarket cab. Would love for John Deere to bring back the 110 TLB with a cab.
the 110 was hands down my favorite small TLB ever

Yes please! We want a cab on this machine. I’m looking at an m62 now and will need it for snow removal in the winter.
Can't believe we're having this discussion..... of COURSE we want a cab option! Lack of a cab is the #1 reason I am waiting to purchase.

Definitely onboard with the cab. My last kubota TLB was miserable in the winter.
Sincerely frozen in Canada
Knowing Messick's reputation, I can imagine somebody at Kubota engineering is getting blasted buy a big wig saying...." you heard Neil....get cracking on it!"🤔💪👍
I'd like a new M62 with factor cab at reasonably price. COME ON KUBOTA PLEASE GET WITH THE PROGRAM !
💥 Great video once again! Hope Kubota listens and gets that factory cab produced one of these years. Good looking cab by Curtis though.
*Keep on tractoring!*
C'mon Neil, you're in the northeast too. Curtis is in West Boylston, Ma. Give a location where a location is due.
This is a complete game changer for Kubota. Awesome news. Thanks
Agree, wheres the factory cab Kubota!?!?!
Nice but it needs a/c Kubota
A nice cabine for cold and rain days 👍💯
I know I'm pretty off topic but do anyone know a good website to watch new movies online?
@Bridger Zev Flixportal :)
@Zaire King thanks, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) I appreciate it !!
@Bridger Zev No problem :)
Build it and they will come 😉

Yes, looking for the factory cab!
If there was a factory cab....I would buy one.
It would be nice if every model line had a factory cab option bx, b, LX, L, M etc

Hey Neil Its about time isn't it mate 😂 i been waiting ages now for a cab 👍 now that's a sexy machine now even tho it isn't factory but still awesome 👍 just wish I had a filed and a site front dumper and a load of monies lol
we want air con in the south
Now I am sad, no AC.... Us southern guys want AC, when its 110F out! 😓😓😓
Yep I would love to have one. GA SUMMERS ARE HOT
Very nice fit, who would ever know it wasn’t factory
No air conditioner means that's going to be an oven in the summer.
Every tractor should have a factory cab option.
That’s real easy for me. I’ve had an L39 since 2008, and it’s been a fantastic fit for the jobs I use it on. I would have bought an M62 two years ago to add to my fleet.........IF they had a cab option. I don’t get it. Why does Kubota ignore the obvious?
i need a cab in MN da
Hi Neil that looks a smart machine but a factory cab wood be better option Thanks
Agree completely !!!!
The only reason I don't own a small TLB is the lack of a cab...
Ryan Lynch installed a Curtis cab on an L47 recently that is a similar model if anyone wants to see the nuts and bolts of the install.
I want a factory cab on a m62
I want a factory cab too!
Definitely want one
Neil, is there a way to upgrade an LA534 loader to the single point hydraulic connection from the LA535?
Looked at it once, takes a bunch of extra parts but it could be done.
I want a cab with AC
I've been waiting four years now.. can't wait much longer . Getting to old
Kubota, PLEASE make a Factory Cab for the M62 !!!
Yes, but I can’t afford a newer moderate size backhoe. I’m stuck in the Used skidsteer market lol I wouldn’t buy anything without a cab
I had a tragic experience at a job, in an open cab, few miles down the road from my car & a freak storm that came out of no where.
Here in Texas I bought an M4 over this because of the AC cab. Sad...
Neil do they make a cab enclosure kit for b26 tlb
Not that I have seen.
Any budy know if this kind machine its for havy duty jobs or just used for farmers?
This is the 21st century there is no reason for a tractor to be open cab every tractor should come standard with a cab the option should be removing it
yes Kubota need cabs for B3200 s and the one Neil said.
B3200 would have a cab today. See LX3310.
Can you please do a walk around the kubota skid steer 97-2
Editing it now.
@@MessicksEquip thank you
No cab is why I have not bought one. DUH!!! Kubota.
I'll live a factory cab. That's one of the main reasons why I didn't buy a Kubota

You think this cab is expensive, Laurin is often 30% more than Curtis. They do make a nice product.
@@MessicksEquip its expensive for what it is. The Lauren is as close as factory as it gets. No gaping holes.
I would love to buy this tractor but with cab and air
Kubota needs to go with the program and build it from the factory they are so behind the times
Where are you?
But do they have a cab option for an l47 that has ac? Lol. I know the answer. But the answer is the only way I get a cab for my machine lol
Lack of a factory cab is why I can't buy. It's that simple.
Kubota add factory can please.
From what I hear it’s pretty difficult to buy a cab from Curtis . They’re not into the direct consumer market.
They sell though dealerships like ourselves. Most of these are too hard to install for anyone but an experienced mechanic.
Do you have tractors to sell
Some, not a lot. Varies by model.
2021 KUBOTA M62
Loader Backhoes
Price: GBP £53,220 too much for me
Not for me. I have a good job and work hard though.
