    I already have heated mirrors but couldn't figure out how to turn them on so I watched your video hoping to see you push a magic button or something lol. Turns out I've been turning them on all along when I press the rear window defroster. Thanks so much for such a concise and clear video.

    Thanks for posting this video. Just what I needed to replace my broken passenger side mirror assembly on my 2004 Grand Marquis.

    Installed a set on my 2006 P71. The wiring is there for heated mirrors but they do not come on with rear window defrost. Even after I found the fuse slot that will be empty on models without. Still no power to mirror glass. After further research lots of wiring mods are needed to “add” them.

    Such a neat idea. Good work.
    Never thought about doing it before.
    My 2004 Vic doesn't have heated mirrors.
    My 2010 Grand Marquis does.
    You mom sounds like such a nice lady. lol

    This is a really good quality video for just being made in your driveway/yard. I already have the heated mirrors, i just needed to know how to get them off because I'm going to customize them.

    Thanks for your vid.
    It was very helpful in repairing my mirror.
    One of the best I watched on TH-cam as well.

    Great detail on this video. I hate the plastic sound the door panels make when driving but do love the Vic's.

    My 2003 MGM has the defrost for the rear window, but not heated mirrors. Should the 03 have the connector for the mirrors?

      Yep it should all work together when you install the mirrors, I am not 100% sure though on the 03's mabe take a look on some forums and see if you can find some wiring diagrams

    Hey BCM,
    Quick question;
    Do you know how to deactivate the horn chip when locking the car with the remote key fob?
    There's a procedure on page 76 in my owners manual for my 2004 Crown Vic, but my 2010 Grand Marquis fails to mention a procedure. I tried the procedure for the 2004, on the 2010 and it goes into programming mode because I get the lock/unlock confirmation. But I still can't deactivate the horn chirp, when locking the car with the remote key fob.
    I usually like the audible confirmation when locking up the car, but not when I come home at 3AM trying to be quiet. lol
    Worse case scenario, maybe I'll install take the WJ Handy Dad route, and install a bypass switch on the ground wire of the horn.
    Chuck

      Have you tried these? After a bit of research, I couldn't really see anything. I'll keep digging and if I find anything I'll let you know. Sorry

    Really good and fun video! Enjoyed it. Where did you get the heated mirrors for the Crown victoria? I want some and also, are there any with LED turn signals on them?

      @Bcmwolverine  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you enjoyed it! I got them from pick n pull they were like $30 or so if I recall correctly. I have seen ones with turn signals built in, you could look on Amazon and eBay and maybe find a set there!

      Yeppers! Depending on the year of your panther. I can't remember the exact year range I almost think its like 2003-2011 its all wired the same so plug and play!
