I have a Corolla but I want a Panther.

I've given up trying to convince people to spurn the miserable, disposable, FWD, unibody, POS-mobiles, foreign or domestic. I've got my stable of Panthers, and am happy as hell. Been driving FMC "boats" since the early eighties, and consequently retired with a few bucks left in my bank account. Never had a car payment in 40 years of driving, yet had reliable, comfortable, safe transportation the whole time, thanks to these vehicles and their predecessors.

1st was and 85 GM 2nd was a 96 CV LX 3rd was a 99 CVPI card 4 to 6 were crap (ranger Kia MustangGT) .. just got a 03 GM as 7th car

Can you do a video about the B/D-Body platform? aka the one of the Chevy Caprice, Cadillac Fleetwood, Buick Roadmaster, Impala SS, Etcetera?

Are there any diagrams on what solenoid goes where? I got too carried away and dont remember what order i took them out in.

I have two Town Cars, a 2003 and 2004. Love the ride, easy to work on and maintain, comfortable to drive and lots of space for passengers to ride comfortably. Stupid cheap to buy for what you get and way undervalued.

I don’t care what anyone says, these panther platform cars are made to last a lifetime. With proper maintenance of course. My current daily driver is a 92 Lincoln Town Car, which only has 52K original miles, has the unbeatable 4.6 V8 engine, which I average about 21 miles per gallon. I’ve seen many of these with well over 500k miles. Here is my 92 Town Car!

Clear instructions and video. no wobbly camera or blah blah. Others have replaced their unit with a scrap yard one but wouldnt the replacement unit have the sama problem. the o ring repair is more sensible.

I have a 2010 Quattroporte GTs….. it broke down twice in rush hr traffic on a 4 lane carriageway in Chelmsford……. Whilst it was dark and raining ….. the 2nd time it broke down it had a battery booster pack attached to the cars battery and still wouldn’t start 😂😂

I am on my third panther platform. Still have a 2004 GM GS, and now added a 2007 signature limited with 71k miles. Fixing a few minor items to make it a great daily.

I just got a 2000 lx with dual exhaust a couple weeks ago nicely taken care of. So far I love it. Comfortable but has the V8 grunt I missed in my last car. I might mod it in the future for a bit more power and stiffer suspension as well as the tail shaft so I can tune the limiter out

310,000 miles on my 3.7 2wd auto. Uses 1 qt per 1000 miles. Valve lifters and timing chains are silent. Zero issues beyond normal stuff. No rust. Considering getting a reman engine, but it runs so well, it’s tough to justify it. I am curious about what oil consumption levels others get.

Why would anyone wants a marruader..the panther platform was never designed to go fast or handle well. It was designed to be comfy and reliable. 300hp on a 4000lb+ body on frame boat is trash and will handle like shit. Idc what upgrades you throw at it, get a true sports car if you want something sporty. It has all the negatives of a crown vic/marquis/town car yet very few of the positives.

I would say the coolest panther is the FHP Marauder. This is a Mercury Marauder with the performance of a Lincoln MKVIII engine and the ruggedness of a CVPI. The ultimate ultimate panther.

They get bad gas mileage? Considering the size of the vehicle, they actually fair very well. It's definitely not a con.

How high up from the street is the driver. Some cars feel as if the ride is too low to the ground as opposed to say other cars which makes the driver experience being a more comfortable higher up ride?

Just got a 2011 grand marquis owned by a enthousiatic, nothing to do on it 80 00 miles, rear diferential changed, cold air intake, dual exhaust, marty tune etc... love it sooooo much, better than the subaru my GF wanted me to get...😂😂😂

I have a 2011 P7B and I LOVE it :) wasn't abused during its service life, and I had zero repairs on it, just normal maintenance. Def a keeper.

I first purchased a used navy blue 1997 Crown Vic LX just to commute to Sacramento from San Francisco once a week. I fell in love with it and purchase a brand-new silver frost 2002 LX Sport, added a TruTrack limited slip, full stainless works exhaust and customized the grill by changing out the chrome grill for the black police honeycomb grill and painted the grill surround to match the silver. Totally awesome car, sold it in 2014 for a new Charger R/T.
