- Pleasantly surprised and pleased with this pen. As far as I'm concerned, there seem to be no downsides to having one nib on each end. Maybe just the fact that you have to fill it with a pipette could discourage some people, but the reservoirs are large and it doesn't seem that bad to me. There is no pocket clip, so it is prone to be a little roll-y, but all-in-all, I like the pen, especially if I could get the color/texture a little different.

I find myself oddly addicted to these videos. I wasn't sure about them at first, didn't care about pens but now I've ordered my first fountain pen and listen to these religiously, they're almost like ASMR and your voice is so incredibly soothing and often the commentary is so wholesome, honest, and adorable. I love it. Keep up the good work!

his highlights are being clipped. It's called "out of gamut", wherein the current colors are falling into another color space of which those colors cannot be represented in the spectrum. In this case, the red channel or cyan channel in CYMK is being affected.

I have thought about it some more and have decided that trolleys may be another good example. When I was little I remember I was on one, and when we reached the end of the track, the conductor took the steering wheel (odd) out of one end and walked down to the other end and stuck it in there.

That double ended pen is pretty cool.
Fun refill trick for eyedropper pens : Fill the reservoir and then proceed to screw the grip section MOST of the way on with the nib pointed up. Then invert the pen before screwing on completely (Over the ink bottle or a sink). The pressure increase will force some of the ink down into the feed so you can begin writing/drawing immediately without having to prime the feed or wait for the ink to slowly saturate on its own. You seemed to have no problems, but it's a useful strategy sometimes. Thanks for the video!

Hey Peter, you can get a package of 100 disposable pipettes (to transfer ink without the mess) on amazon for like $7. I would also suggest those blue disposable shop towels for clean up. They are much more absorbent than regular paper towels. Its all I use in my art studio. Lastly, to clean up tough ink stains I have found that cheap gel hand sanitizer works great. Thanks for telling us about the BBS brand. I will have to check them out. Love all your videos. You make me smile and are soothing to listen to.
xxOwLEyeSxx - and add yet more plastic into the waste stream ! ! ! Nothing wrong with glass dropper with rubber bulb. It simply requires the calligrapher to be diligent in cleaning the dropper each time it is used. Not a biggy, I would have thought. At some point here, ALL of us have to take responsibility for resisting the desire for instantaneous fulfillment of our “wants”. The needs of this planet we call home come before all else. We don’t have much time left to get it together, globally, and start addressing the reality of our poisoning of the earth in pursuit of cheaper, throw-a-way products produced on the backs of the poorest people in the poorest countries.
