Lol yeah it’s cause it had a torque converter and also did not have acreman steering so if you turned the wheel at all it was fighting back at you. Kind of a janky kart glad I got rid of it lol
You’re defeating the purpose by leaving that stock stifling muffler on there kid. That’s why the kit comes WITH the header pipe. You have 2 parts of the mandatory 3 parts done. You won’t see that significant of a change unless you trade that purse in for a wallet. Hehe I’m messin w/ ya buddy. Honestly put that pipe back on.
yeah, i know why it comes with it, and on paper it seems like it would hurt it, but in practice i haven’t charted any difference at all between the header pipe and the muffler, even if you leave the stock muffler on it still gives you a massive power gain over completely stock. on an engine like my stage 3 predator 212, it definitely makes it a lot slower, so for that i’ve invested in a custom made header pipe and RLV performance muffler. that thing hauls.
4:00 I don't suggest you use teethed pliers because I did that once and it poked a hole in my fuel line. If you don't have flat edged pliers then just take some tape and wrap it around the teeth part on the pliers and your good to go.
I got one of those HF wheel sets a few months back for my go kart front wheels, was riding my go kart when the hubs snapped out of the wheels. While I was riding 😂
with that horn thing on the end of it the pipe was so ridiculously loud that you couldn’t ride it without earplugs and it’s only stage 1 so the muffler didn’t make too big a difference if it was a stage 3 like on my minibike it would make a huge difference

So it isn't necessary to change the carburetor stud to the longer one on the on hemi 212 when installing an air filter?
Nope, you just use the original studs and nuts and gasket. super easy
What if you install everything but the carb jet?
Then it would be useless
it just wont run very well because of the lack of fuel and make less power than with the carb jet

i bought the frame but i had to heavily modify it so kind of?

it’s not one wheel drive. it’s a live axle 😂 the sprocket is just way far on the left for some reason

that happened to me when i was drifting in the grass with my friends last summer. the hub snapped off. so i drove the kart home on 3 wheels.

Is that a live axle on the rear? If so, how did you make it live?
yes it is a live axle, it came that way, but GoPowerSports.com has a weld-in live axle conversion kit that has everything you need.

Yea it does, but I’ve adjusted the springs to get a bit of extra “go fast”
