I have been taking wheatgrass for around five years now and it's the one thing I would never be without. After taking it for about two weeks I noticed I had more energy, needed less sleep, skin glowed, mental clarity improved dramatically and I felt better than I did in my 20's. I also noticed I got very few coughs and colds compared to other people. Later on, I noticed the bit of grey hair I had has disappeared and now my hair is its natural colour, no need to dye it. I would add that it's no good eating junk food and expecting the wheatgrass to work magic. It won't. You also need to eat a healthy diet alongside it. And you will feel fantastic.

Anushka Sharma No my weight is stable and has been for years. I do eat a very healthy diet and I am below the weight I should be for my height. Wheatgrass will not make anyone lose weight if they eat too much of the wrong kind of food. But it is wonderful stuff and has so many benefits (even though it may not taste great!)

Anushka Sharma Hi again. I use the wheatgrass powder. I usually buy the organic New Zealand grown one. If you can buy locally even better. I do stay away from the wheatgrass grown in China though. Good luck and if combined with healthy eating you will definitely notice a difference.

It's interesting that you mention the grey hair that disappeared. I had the same experience (49 years old, some grey hair just appeared). I add ginger to the juice, which is not so tasty when drunk isolated. Also changed to ketogenic diet for mental (clarity, less impulsiveness) reasons. And also: it seems to me that the protein contained in the wheatgrassjuice is much more potent than the whey protein I use.

Grow wheatgrass at home using organic wheat seeds in 12 days. Trim a handful of the grass, wash it thoroughly, blend it strain the juice through a sieve and drink, a shot glass size. Optional, u can add lil ginger, lil palm jaggery for taste.
The leftover grass after straining the juice can be given to cows, buffaloes, etc or can also be used on the face or body to reduce dark patches or tan, good for skin. Wheatgrass juice also reverses greying hair.

I just really like Dr. Berg. Everything is explained in simple terms. Most intelligent people these days seem unable to speak plainly, like they have something to prove. Ha, and he kind of reminds me of a first grade teacher.... but his ideas concerning nutrition make more sense than what we get from the mainstream.

Believe me when I say he is far more articulate than how he presents himself in a majority of these videos. Perhaps some people with expansive vocabularies have superiority complexes and like to flaunt that, others like myself simply rather enjoy understanding what everyone is saying and how to more effectively convey an idea. Dr. Berg is simplifying things because he knows the general viewer that shall see this isn't the brightest bulb.

    Actually saying where it’s made.
Actually sharing and explaining the patented process that makes his product alive versus damaged by heat.
Actually sharing the story behind why the product contains the nutrients that it does.
Actually sharing how he’s able to price it so low
Actually explaining how the nutrients get in his product and not hiding behind a commercial or sketchy website but rather being right here on TH-cam showing his face and defending his product himself risking his reputation....
Never seen this kind of risk taking and transparency with people before.
    Therefore He’s earned my curiosity.
So I will buy it and try this for myself.

Dr. Berg. I want to thank you for this post and for other incredibly important information you have generously put out there that has really helped me with my type 2 diabetes. I am now a firm believer in taking wheat grass juice powder. I have been on it for just over 3 weeks and the results have been nothing short of amazing. It started to make a difference in only 3 days and now into week four, I have lowered my levels from 200 and above to an average of 120 and below. It was very cool to see the below 100 levels a few times during the past week! My glucose swings have been less dramatic from 70-100 points between meals to 20-30, depending of course on what I eat. This attributed to more energy, less brain fog and not feeling like I want to fall asleep all day long as in the past. I also have started to lose weight without changing my exercise routine. It didn't seem to matter before what I did, I would pendulum back and forth a few pounds. In the past 3 weeks, I have dropped 9 pounds. I am very confident that this will be the path to making myself much healthier and finally normalizing my glucose levels! I would encourage anyone who like myself has had difficulty with type 2 diabetes to give this a try, it could be a life changer for you as it has been for me. Thanks again Dr. Berg!

My wife got this product and I was a bit skeptical in the beginning since I have never taken wheatgrass before. I am doing intermittent fasting and being in Ketosis for two months almost. Fatigue is (was) still common especially during this summer (Texas) heat. I would feel extremely depleted after doing home chores like lawn mowing in the morning. I decided to give it a try after one of those days. To my surprise (astonishment) I felt a great boost of energy like I haven't felt before. Also included my normal electrolytes intake (powder form) with the wheatgrass. To validate this result I did the same test for couple days and the results have been positive. I totally recommend and wish I started earlier in the Ketosis process.

I grow my own wheat grass in my kitchen and it can be grown all year round. The nutrition does not need to come from the ground or the roots because it all exists in the seed and can be grown in water alone.
That’s great that you have been able to package this up for people and you do have a very calm relaxing tone to your presentation but the truth is that anybody can grow this in their home for pennies..... I buy a giant bag of organic pathogen free hard red wheat berries and I germinate them and have them full grown in 10 days... I am juicing like a madman and I have never felt better in my entire life!
Moral of my story .... grow your own and you can run your hand across the top of the grass like the doc here 😂

I don't have this product, but I have other Dr Berg products which are packaged in HDPE, which is not a bpa plastic. PP and HDPE are the top two safest plastics - depending on any additives added to the mix. That's the unknown here.
That black tray growing the other "health food" store tray is most probably ABS. There are "food grade" versions of ABS, but BPA containing products are also considered "food grade". HDPE is a much more safer product than ABS if you are worried about estrogenics sneeking into your food supply.
Don't get me started about folks using PVC in their hydroponics.

Sasha Bakhshi Actually no. Not really. I buy products shipped in glass.
Reason why I’ve never had problem is because seller uses:
      1. A thicker glass
      2. Lots of bubble wrap cushioning around the glass
      3. Overall final layer of bubble wrap.
So I’ve personally never had issues with glass if the seller uses this method.

@@alkaanjum2633 this is very important so please listen to what I'm going to say about Borax therapy for epilepsy... they used to use it regularly and you can even find this information out and what used to be the Merck Manual probably well over a hundred years ago probably more like around the year 1901... you should buy 20 Mule Team brand but make sure when you read the ingredients it says it is borax and nothing else.... here on TH-cam you will find on the Earth Clinic Channel borax therapy.... but if you go to their website and look at the categories please look for where they use borax to heal epilepsy ... I sometimes get myoclonic twitching and I don't know what was aggravating it recently but as soon as I did The Borax therapy drink it went away .... myoclonic twitching is a cousin of epilepsy . One of the lovely benefits is that your skin on your face and hands will become very soft and smooth when within a couple days . You'll see .
I forget if it's Co q 10 ( ubiquitol is considered the best form of it ) or taurine which can help with neurological problems such as epilepsy... but if you go to the nootropics expert channel and look those two up you will find out which one it is .
Also please look at some of the videos about how important and healing large doses of Vitamin C can be and you will probably find comments of people who say they have healed themselves of epilepsy with massive doses of vitamin C .
Anyway start with the borax therapy if you can

Oh nice, lemon flavored! I'll be ordering more next Monday. I just finished one container, and it lasted about 3 weeks. My second container I've upped the dosage to 6 through 8 servings a day to help with liver function, since normally consuming 20 to 25 pounds of meat (primarily red) a week. I enjoy your products, and thinking of trying the kale shake for liver health next.

You have 6 - 8 scoops each day? I'm curious how that has changed your overall health/stamina/etc., if you would offer more insight. I have been having 1 - 2 scoops of different powders each day, plus a kale shake, and I was wondering if I was overdoing it. So your comment got my attention. Can you overdo minerals this way, as they are in concentrated form? Thanks.

Jimvesterstallone Hi Jim, as far as all the scoops go, I really haven't noticed much of a change. I'm sure it's having an effect on me, but I haven't really noticed a change mentally or overall physically. I do drink a lot of water everyday, more than Berg would recommend, but that's just what I do. I do kale shakes too, but honestly haven't noticed any real bumps in energy.

I grow my wheatgrass in 10 x10 trays. I use 8oz. of seed per tray. It takes me 12 min. to juice and clean up. It takes 4 min. to water in the mourning. It take 8 min. at night to plant and water at night. I soak the 8oz. of seed for 8 or so hours. That I drain it and wash it twice a day for 3 days. At that time I spread it out on the 10 by 10 tray that has 1/2 inch of potting mix. All trays get watered twice a day. After 7 to 10 days it is cut and juiced. Out of 8oz. of seed I get 6 to 8oz. of juice. So it take 4 min. to water 8min. to water and plant. 12 min. to juice, drink and clean up. I do not drink it right down. I leave it in my mouth for a min. or so it can mix with saliva. So it takes 24 min. a day to do wheatgrass. So if you pay 1 dollar a pound for Organic Read Wheat seed. It costs you about 50 cents for 6 to 8 oz. of fresh Wheatgrass juice

Do you work with Pine's Wheatgrass Co. in Lawrence, Ks? They speak of a low heat process, & they let it grow thru the hard winter & harvest in the Spring, when it is the height of where the first dividing of the stem occurs. They say THAT is when the highest nutrition is...sounds a bit like your description.......I've read that in the morning on an empty stomach is the best time. I would squeeze a little fresh lemon juice into it to cut thru the grassy taste.......actually, for anemia. That's why I started, & I read that wheatgrass shots can help stop graying of hair. Hahahaha! & well, I'm not in a situation where I can grow my own wheatgrass to get real 'shots' of it, so Pine's was the next best thing, to me.

How is powdered form more nutritious than fresh squeezed wheat grass? I was always taught to drink the juice after juicing it so they enzymes don't oxidize. I would like to see scientific proof before I would ever consider processed elements being more beneficial than the actual product that is still "live".

Sure, nothing will ever beat fresh, but when you don't have the time or access to fresh. Making the wheat grass juice requires a special juicer just used for that and it costs a lot just for the juicer, not to mention that it takes time to macerate in the juicer.

    • @mfb6310
      @mfb6310 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

well, like he explained - humans cannot eat wheat grass itself, we don't have the multi-stomachs processing system that cows have. He extracts juice from the wheatgrass, then he dehydrates that juice and turns it into a powder. All you need to do is add water to get the nutrients.

You say you plant the seed of the wheat in late fall (4:45) in the earth (Terra firma - since you mentioned covered by snow) but then at 5:54 you stated it's grown in an ancient seabed. Trace minerals from the ground as opposed to the trace minerals in a seabed are quite different. So, a bit confusing... do you grow your wheat grass in the ground or do you grow it in an ancient seabed?

Yes, good to know the grass stage has no gluten. I am a Celiac. Also the difference between the powder versus the juice. My question is: if the main point of using wheat grass is the chlorophyll, wouldn’t using the algae, Chlorella, be more beneficial than wheat grass? Also, chlorella contains the highest amount of chlorophyll AND a host of of essential nutrients, more than ANY other substance on Earth. It is considered a perfect food. Also, you are supposed to spit out the powder after you rinse with it, otherwise you will swallow all the bacteria you are cleansing. So, what is your opinion on Chlorella versus Wheat grass? Thank you 😊

Raymond... I read years ago that fresh enzymes go flat within 48 hours and lose a lot of their power . That's why it's better to make small batches only what you're going to consume within 48 hours . I have no idea if it's true but to me I felt that it rang true .
Maybe you can make an experiment and try making the smaller batches and do that for a couple months and see if you feel a little bit better or healthier with the enzymes being no older than 2 days .

Interesting. I would think the powdered wheatgrass is milled fine enough to to release all cell contents into liquid. Even in your stomach and intestines, there is enough surface area exposed to extract the nutrients. You have exponentially increased the surface area by powdering it and cut open the cell walls. Each grain of powder is extremely tiny. Almost microscopic.
The fact that you can dissolve it in water and it turns the water green shows you the cell contents are being released into the water. If it wasn't you would just have the powder floating in the water.

When taking your wheatgrass juice powder in the morning, is that considered part of your first meal, if you are doing intermitten fasting?

I just got the powder. I drink it daily. It’s very nutritious good source of Magnesium and E. Better than taking vitamins.

I hear that the greens from raw beets are pretty high in potassium and also spinach is fairly high in potassium but not as high as the greens from beets
