Dr. Berg, I think you need to write a book explaining which supplements to take when, with what combination, and why. And if you’re feeling up to it, which supplements or minerals to take for certain diseases. I take notes, but I feel like I might not be the only one who would want this kind of book. Thanks!

The info is out there. Options ?
Have your nutrients measured with blood test.
Look at other sources. Not all holistic views will agree. My opinion. There are many variables with everyone mainly because of gut flora/bacteria / microbiome. Nobody has the same acid and type of bacteria which affects what you can absorb. Like he says you can take good stuff but it gets canceled potentially with other foods or alcohol or whatever.
Set your body up as he says by addressing things in order.
If you are insulin resistant to whatever degree , that has to be fixed. Not saying any nutrients will get to the cellular level but that has to be fixed. Then your gut microbes. This is why everyone is different. This also affects which nutrients get absorbed and which ones that don't . So many variables. As Dr Ekberg ( not Berg)you gotta play with or adjust what you need based on symptoms and how how you feel.
Then as you move along over months test your levels based on blood test. But, remember blood tests can't measure what's inside the cell.
      Good luck

I agree! Just this month I purchased a bottle of COQ10 supplements from a very well -known manufacturer. Since beginning Dr Berg's recommendations I have become a label reader. This COQ10 product listed "Potato Maltodextrin" as one of the "additional ingredients."
I have chronic migraine disease and have already been avoiding Maltodextrin as a potential migraine trigger. Additionally, my fasting glucose was 125 a year ago and I have avoided Maltodextrin for that reason also.
If you didn't read the label closely on the COQ10 you would miss "Potato Maltodextrin."
I called the manufacturer and spoke to a customer service person and was told it is a "1 percent or less" ingredient added as a "flow agent" for manufacturing purposes.
They dismissed my request for a refund or a substitute for one of their other products... they basically just did not care.
I told them politely that I had used their products before but given the competition in the supplement market I would choose others in the future... they just didn't care.
      So, read the labels!
      Thanks Dr Berg...

I would love to see a video/chart organizing all of the major supplements and nutrients (and the recommended formulation, eg folate or glyphosphste) into a schedule that maximize their benefit by avoiding taking things together that interfere with each other, or taking them at the times you’ll best absorb them (eg before sleep, after sleep, or split across the day because of short halflife). I’ve tried making this for myself based on the advice in your many videos, but I don’t feel I have a good grasp on it yet. Basically it’s “a recommended schedule for taking multiple supplements”.

I had ocular shingles for 27 months. When medicine could not cure it I turned to researching it myself. I took all the recommended supplements and changed my diet drastically.
One morning while parsing my $$$ worth of supplements for the week, I had an eye opening moment. I noticed every supplement was a white powder. That did not seem right. Not knowing what to do or what to think about it, I continued on but ears open for any explanation. Never found one and the supplementation never worked nor did all the plants based recommendations.
Kept the research going and it led to keto which led to carnivore. I went full carnivore because it made sense. It went against the full indoctrination of all we’d been taught for the last 60+ years but it made sense.
Within 1 month my body was healed from 90% of all pain and inflammation and in 6 months my ocular shingles disappeared.

Fantastic video. I've learned this myself a while ago but it's so good to show people this. Before I buy any supplement I make sure to compare at least 50 different ones to each other and most of the time only 3-5 products even make the cut. Most have got the worst forms of the nutrients, loads of starches (or even maltodextrin) and magnesium stearate and loads of other completely unnecessary ingredients.
    Do your research!!

    • @AkihikoASMR

@SusanHarrell530 I've seen you commenting "which vitamin? which probiotic? which mineral?" a lot here. It seems like you just want easy quick answers and aren't willing to do research.
If this is really about your children then it should be worth every bit of effort. Stop being lazy and get to researching.

My doctor prescribed 50,000 i.u. of vitamin d3 weekly. Took that for many years until the pharmacist tried to give me vitamin d2, saying "its the same thing". Its not.
After listening to your videos, I stopped taking the prescribed D3 and bought the purest form of vitamin d3, 10,000 i.u. I 💩 you not, I noticed my hair growing back in addition to other positive changes. This did not happen with the prescribed vitamin d3.
I listened to more of your videos. Bought the purest form of magnesium glycinate, 120mg. Not only am I feeling like I have more energy, I sleep like a rock! Next, I'm adding Lysine to the mix.

Nootropics depot is probably the best imo. Thorne is up there too but they are pretty overpriced. NOW is good for a few things but they usually have more filler ingredients than most and don’t always provide testing results… although others have tested and they’ve always been good with heavy metals - consumer lab. Life extension will provide testing results when asked and they use less fillers. Pure encapsulations is up there but they were acquired by nestle. And I like many others, try not to support them. I stick with ND and LE. Any of these brands WILL be effective but I’m one to compare price and transparency when it comes to supplements, or anything really…

DR BERG, GREAT EDUCATIONAL VIDEO ONCE AGAIN!!! Dr Berg what do you think about NAC? Do you think it's safe to take 600 mg 2x a day if so how long should one take it should they rotate it off certain months? I think you should make a separate video on what nutrients and vitamins average person should take on a daily basis.. I myself think a daily vitamin, CoQ10,vitamin d3- K2 mk7,B complex, OMEGA-3 FISH OIL. , there's some others but those are the main and of course trace minerals. I apologize about the long video I'm speaking on a mic🎙️, so it just keeps texting as I speak. YOU'RE 100% RIGHT ABOUT THE MALTODEXTRIN IT'S IN A LOT OF PROTEIN POWDERS, AND MASS BUILDING POWDERS, AND DO NOT TAKE SYNTHETIC VITAMINS, YOU MAY HAVE TO PAY A LITTLE MORE BUT YOU WANT TO GET THE RIGHT STUFF FOR YOUR BODY GREAT VIDEO TAKE CARE BE SAFE PEACE AND BLESSINGS. ✌🏼🙏🏼.

      @AkihikoASMR หลายเดือนก่อน +4

Ofc they can, it's essential to all humans. Regarding brand just do your research. Multivitamins are horribly formulated most of the time, it's very unlikely you'll find a good multivitamin.
If you're convenience oriented without wanting to make sacrifices the best balance is: Taking D3&K2 in a combined pill with fatty meals. Magnesium bisglycinate by itself before bed, Zinc Picolinate or carnosine. The closest thing to a "multi" vitamin that makes sense to take is a b-complex. Be careful, 98% of b complexes are absolute garbage so only buy one if you're willing to go through the ingredients of 100 different ones and choose the 2-3 that are actually valid.

I was also an avid cheese eater (still am) and thus got vit K2 with it.
Scandinavian countries add vitamin D to milk and other dairy products.
