As a cosmetologist i am disappointed someone told you your hairline goes too far back for bangs, that’s literally how you “correct” that. So coming from a girl who also has a huge forehead I love my bangs and I love yours too it looks so good on your face.
The person who told her that probably meant that she shouldn't do thick bangs because they would literally start at the apex of her head in order to be thick
She said that the cosmetologist said she can't go thick with her bangs, not that she can't have any. I think they were referring to the v bangs that start from the back center and come out because you can definitely still have them pretty thick without it looking crazy but people with hairlines far back can't cut bangs from the center because it would be coming from too far back.
the color looks so good and the bangs honestly look perfect for your face. you should cut small pieces along the side of your face so the bangs blend and don't seem out of place

I think they look fine how they are, there are a lot of different bang styles and that doesn’t always need to be ‘blended’ like Betty bangs for example, but the choppy bang Is a look on her.

So cute! You can def pull off the split dye. Let your bangs grow out a bit (maybe like 3-4 weeks) and then just cut the middle a little shorter and let the edges toward the side of your face be a little longer. Nice “face framing” look, you would totally rock it!!
They are so cute. You did awsome. I'm a hair stylist and my only advice would be to give yourself a few small face framing pieces.. just angle the bang down a bit to blend with your length. Easy peasy!

okay girl i have the same hairline so i cut my bangs and my “ear tail (?)” area to blend around my face and it really helps the volume in the front too. i also have the front left corner of my hair bright orange and the rest is black so the color is so eye catching the home bangs (because mine are too miss ma’am we’re rocking it) you don’t even notice. you’re killing it!!
I love the bangs so so much! I think the reason you feel weird about them is because you need a some pieces on the sides of the bangs for face framing that way its more blended into the rest of the hair! Try that!
Dude, the bangs totally suit you, thickness and length is perfect. I mean obviously someone with a professional opinion may be able to nitpick, but to my untrained eye, fab job. All of those hairstyles looked great on you
When you started with the roots I went oh nooo and looked at the comments but i didn't see anyone mention it. Basically, ur roots process faster because of the heat so that's why ur roost are lighter. Next time start from the bottom and work ur way up! But it looks amazing!!
The color is gorgeous but those BANGS. you were born for bangs. I'm jealous, can't pull them off I've tried multiple times with multiple styles. Please keep them forever.
You should get a pre colour equalizing spray! It helps a lot to even out the porosity/ ph of hair so you can get a more even colour application. Theres a pretty cheap one by Milkshake that I've used and had great results with!
the bangs are totally adorable! Maybe adding some face framing pieces might help? but it's honestly such a cute look! (you should also totally do the eyebrows)
