I really really really don't get why some parents don't "allow" their children to dye their own hair, like... it's just hair... it's not on their heads... it grows back...? I don't know, it really bothers me and I'm really glad my mom always supported me with my crazy colored hair when I was younger lol She always said "if you came up to me and said you wanted to cut your arm off, I would be worried because your arm won't grow back. But hair? It's just hair!!!"

My mom is big on what people think of us so she never really let us dye our hair solely for the fear of people (mostly her family) talking bad behind our backs thinking we were “crazy”. I remember dying my hair once in high school and she kinda got mad but not really but when my grandma came and visit she made me change it back cause my grandma would flip because her religion they believe anything g you do to your body is disrespectful to god !

@@eeveeinahi i had my hair medium length, it looked a bit weird, then i dyed it half pink and half blue, it looked the same and now my hair is shoulder length and white, my actual hair is dark brown, i got curtain bangs which look AMAZING and it looks nice when it's styled.

You should’ve used a 30 and you wouldn’t of had to bleach repeatedly. Also tone tone tone purple shampoo.

Blue cancels out orange.

@@chickenbunsenyklmsdf337 purple shampoo only whitens yellow blondes ! it doesn’t bleach your hair (it just takes yellow pigments out i guess?), so don’t use it to bleach your hair, buy proper dye :)

As someone who dyes their hair frequently, some pointers to use when bleaching your hair is to get your roots last because heat makes it lighten quicker and you scalp produced a ton of heat, you don’t need to use tin foil either! You can use a shower cap or plastic bag and heat it up with a hairdryer to make it lighten quickly. Also if you condition your hair a lot it will help to give the moister and nutrients it needs at the ends! I hope this helps :)
