    She is more beautiful than Miss World and Miss Universe. On top of that she plays violin so well.

    Sarah performed the Bruch with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra years ago. She is a humble person despite her fame.

    I enjoyed this concert, I love Sarah, I am not a musicologist if she made something wrong which is perceived by highly sophisticated expert I didn't notice. Of course perfect might be better but seem to me that this concert is enjoyable by the audience.
    Thank you Sarah.

    These people from Santo Domingo are not very used to have concerts, How come that they put the chairs of the front line too close to the performer and to the conductor. Seems that the person in charge of the stage setting just called a guy who has no idea and told him.."go and put the chairs for the orchestra" maybe the only concern was the number of chairs and that is. Who cares is the chairs are properly set, not even align them. Much more needed to learn.

    Chang's recording of this actually sounded nice. However, in her live performances, her issues are amplified which the recording studio covered up - sometimes spotty intonation, overdone bow pressure during attacks, accented passages in which you hear this unpleasant constant scratching which comes off as obnoxious and unrefined playing. I sometimes feel as if Sarah has lost something from her younger days.
    However, this bad recording doesn't do her justice. I blame it mostly.

      How sad; especially when one recalls that wonderful child and her 1/4 violin. Perhaps some kind soul will succeed in making her take cognisance of the views of those who adore her when the real Sarah turns up.

      Khairilanuar Othman Sarah's still young and has a lot of room to explore new things and mature. This is like Mutter - who represented classic violin-playing at its perfection when she was younger but as she got older, she developed that characteristic vibrato and rubato playing which I love but others don't. Soloists have a right to their own interpretation, I guess.

    A lot of strange things happening in this performance; a lot of excess movements wasting energy; I guess this wasn't her day. There's an Amsterdam Sibelius concerto five years before (2006), also on YT, where Chang looks a lot happier and her playing is stunning.

      Not to mention such aggressive playing which is causing so many unnecessary accents in the music.

    Another example, Mexican people when they have a concert with Andre Rieu just by being negligent they destroyed some instruments of Rieu orchestra. I haven't hear something like that has ever happened in any other of the numerous places visited by Andre.Much more needed to learn

    • @azchemguylopez2596
      @azchemguylopez2596 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      wtf?! Santo Domingo is in the Dominican Republic and this is not Andre Rieu. Just shows what a shallow and racist bigot you are. And NO, the Mexicans did not destroy the Cello. As a matter of fact, the Mexican fans were delighted to have Andre Rieu and his orchestra present there. One of the locals even went out of her way to lend one of Rieu's musicians her own Cello as a result of the damaged Cello. It got them out of a tough bind in the last minute, and the Rieu musician was actually very grateful to the Mexican Cello player. Eres pendejo!!

      Honestly, she sounds like a student after listening to Hahn's performance with Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra. She cannot play clearly (both her left hand, and right hand), and she plays unconfidently. She plays like she is having the hardest times of her life, after she completes a passage, she acts like she just finished running a marathon. I heard her play Brahms concerto first time a couple of months ago in a concert, and I got very disappointed, because I was used to Hahn's and Oistrakh's perfect playing and she played even worse than her performance in this video.

      @dequansmithmcconvey1753 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      What negatvity, it belittles yourselves when you sneakily spark hate on an artist’s performance. Please remember that she is a human and has had to practice hard to get to the status she deserves now. She has spent hours discovering the music and giving her all to play it to the hugh standard she does.

    • @PP-wp2bx
      @PP-wp2bx ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@samilmansuryou are just a racist, and that's all. If a student sounds like her, then he/she already would have gotten a record deal. Hahn always plays it safe whereas Chang explores all the passion she can express. I heard Hahn's performance of Carmen Fantasy and she played it like in a half the tempo of what Chang had played it when she was like 9 years old.

  • @cageynerd
    @cageynerd 11 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Man, her interpretation is terrible. She needs to practice.
