For those commenting on the seatbelt issue, policy requires Officers to keep them on until the vehicle is in park. The Sgt. Valle (pronounced Vuy-a) is a buddy of mine.. the bullet that hit his right arm actually shattered his Ulna bone in his forearm. Instinctively he tried to put the car in park but couldn’t because of the shattered bone. He went full Mongo and was able to put the car in park, draw his weapon and fire at the suspect. In the video if you look carefully, after he shoots the suspect and he runs away, Sgt. Valle’s gun falls out of his hand onto the ground. He’s still recovering and doing fine.

One of my good friends since jr high school (we started 7th grade in 1990) ended up being a cop in our hometown Jacksonville Florida. Back in like 2009 or so he was working off duty at the Regency Square Mall. They went to help with 2 shoplifters. One ran. He was 18 years old with no prior record. My buddy chased him down and after his taser failed, he grabbed the guy by the back of the hoodie, the kid turned and broke free. My buddy thought he got punched in the face and went down. As he was getting up, he felt his teeth laying down in his mouth and knew something was up. He was shot point blank in the chin and it exited out of his neck. The kid ended up shooting him 7 times. The kid did not live. His name is Jared Reston and when he tells the story, it’s so much better. There are several interviews with him. He now has a private company that goes around the US and trains police and military. Dude is a beast

Interesting idea but one problem I see with it is that it would make judges more likely to imprison innocent civilians even when the evidence is negligible at best. I agree that there should be some type of consequence (perhaps after repeated offenses) but they shouldn’t be so extreme that a judge or DA would be more willing to make someone guilty than innocent. Maybe your system could be based on the percentage of incorrect judgments they have made or any type of negligence (repeated or grave) on their part.

im at the point where i firmly believe all judges who release a suspect with no prison time for violent acts should be charged as an accessory to anything they do following their release

I don't form weird parasitic relationships with content creators. I don't care what they do. If they stop making stuff I like, those content creators stop existing for me. Simple as.

@@OMGMANTHEHARPOONSto an extent, I agree. Parasitic would be to have a one sided relationship with this content. I donate, I support his content, I buy merch. He spends time to put out enjoyable content and I watch it and support when I can. Its a mutual thing. We, as viewers, make his life more enjoyable by supporting what he does, and he gives us something from time to time that we can take lessons from, especially this form of content that officers and civilians alike can take tips from to make their day to day life safer, and for that, I'm grateful. Its also 2pm and I'm on that Wild Turkey 101 😂😂

@@OMGMANTHEHARPOONS Bro what? He said He's thankful for the content and that he wishes him the best when he moves on to a new chapter of his life lol. The word you're looking for is parasocial. And it's not even applicable because it's not like he's asking how donut's day has been and expecting a response lol he's just giving props where it's due. Don't forget that although not your friend, content creators and commenters are real people and just because you don't know them personally doesn't mean you're obligated to be a dickhead to them.
