I just love the clear distinction between street cop to SWAT cop in this video. First guy is having the ride of his life, yelling, screaming, hes just ALL jacked up. SWAT guy is taking fire from a suspect inside a structure, cant even see him, and hes just calmly like "Ok so, im just gonna direct some fire in there so the guys can move, you all cool with that?" in the most calm, sound, voice you can possibly be in.

I mean to be fair, the cop was just treated to the sound of like 15 shots in a closed vehicle, that report is loud as hell, he could probably barely hear himself yelling, maybe even not at all.
The officer just mag dumped in an enclosed vehicle which means his ears are ringing and he is yelling because he doesn't know how loud he is being. Put aome ear buds in your ear with loud music and then talk to someone. You will inevitably be yelling or talking loudly because your ears hear something loud.

@@kevins.3573 And that's where your wrong wheezing can be caused by adrenaline rush and ppl who have asthma it can cause them to wheeze and adrenaline is released by adrenal glands in fight or flight situations which is in fact the situation he was in wheezing can also be caused like let's say you have a cold asthma or even phenomena and what might have happened is that he probably has asthma and the adrenaline triggered it without him doing any actual running or exercise hope this helps :) i'm a medical student btw and all this could be googled within seconds fyi

I think he uses the chicken for the assailant shots so we know who's firing.
The clucking is actually an older sound he used for gunshots. You can hear him use it in the video where a felony plays hide and seek with some nice cop guys. In this situation, I believe it is to make sure we can tell who's shooting.

What is amazing is how calm and matter of fact the SWAT team guy was. It was like he was figuring out how to get a piano up to the secord story, not arranging covering fire so he doesn't get shot while running to join back up with his squad.

Don't know much about gun fights, but I was never that calm moving pianos on the stairs.

I’m sitting in deadlock traffic and see the new donut video. Only moved maybe 2 car lengths before I got to THE ROOK. I have a ridiculously loud 12in sub setup in my trunk. THE ROOK commercial got bass. I wasn’t prepared for it but apparently neither was the old lady next to me in traffic with her window down 😂
Good work, Donut. The comms from SWAT are great. There is Descriptive Comm followed by Directive Comm. Sometimes, the comm flow needs to be Directive first when the threat is immediate. These guys are mentally playing 3D chess with the situation, flexing to options on the fly as the situation changes. In the WI scenario, the officer's timeline to formulate a plan and act upon it is so condensed, but he reacted and acted well. I'd say he's been ambushed before...perhaps in another part of the world. He blew right through, provided his own direct / covering / suppressive fire, reset his position, and switched to his long range "big hurty stick". Stud. Last thought. Any "shots fired" call needs a qualifier: Offensive (I'm shooting) or Defensive (bad guy is shooting)...or something like that.
