HOW?! Seriously, how can you become jealous of a cat?!?! My fiancé had cats before we met and she takes soooo good care of them. They seem to have adopted me as their father/slave. I feel so honored.

You'd be surprised how many people (in my case women) say that. Like dude I love my cats one way and I will love you in another way, why is it an issue? I will never ever give up a pet for a gf. The pet is a family member, no random girl will take its place.

Some people have such issues that the attention a pet gets, makes them jealous.... They may have attachment issues or just can't stand seeing their partner give too much attention to someone (or something) else. It's messed up, I know. However SOME people treat their pets waaaayy better than their partner. The "jealousy" isn't really about the pet, but the fact that they don't get any attention at all

My ex was VERY jealous of my heart dog, who I was always cuddling with. He even made a comment once when the dog was laying between my legs in bed. "You're letting him lay there like that?!" As if there was something wrong or sexual about it. What an insecure freak. He always asked me who I loved more, and I always told him he didn't want to know the answer.

Years ago, went on a date with a girl from POF. We had texted, talked, and flirted for a couple weeks, and decided to meet for a dinner date one night. Picked her up at her place, and we went to Applebee's. Seemed like everything went well, we had a good time, food was good, had some great conversations. Drove her back to her place afterwards, walked her to the door, gave her a hug and quick kiss. Later that night, texted her, and she responded "umm I'm not sure if I'm feeling this. I didn't care for the way you acted." I was quite puzzled, and asked her what she meant. She responded with something like "well, you opened the door and went in first, you didn't hold the door open for me, or pull out my chair, or anything." I tried to salvage the situation, and said something like "I didn't realize that was such a big thing to you," but got no response. She texted me randomly a few weeks later, saying that she was stressed, and asking if I knew anyone she could buy drugs from. No idea what her deal was, but somehow can't feel like I dodged a bullet.

My best friend was accused of rape after a POF encounter. His Text messages proved him innocent. The judge saw right through her as she kept on telling lies in an official capacity. I'm sure if it were someone else it would have been believable to an extent. However, my friend has Aspergers and the things she was insinuating were completely out of character for him. Plus he has a security camera in his living room with audio that totally saved him from her lies.

Not a relationship, but a friendship. She constantly punched me in the upper arm every time she wanted to make a point. I told her to stop hitting me again and again and again. Her response? 'I didn't hit you THAT hard. Don't be such a pussy'. Final straw was when she threw a shoe at me.
I asked her if the tables were turned, what would she do. In an instant, she said she would call the police if I ever hit her. Even with this reasoning, she still doesn't think she did anything wrong to this day. Noped out of that friendship.

    • @DarkPrince784
      @DarkPrince784 ปีที่แล้ว +11

This mentality is not uncommon and I think it stems from the fact that as children, boys are taught specifically not to hit girls under any circumstances whatsoever (rather than, you know, being taught not to hit other people in general) whereas girls are never taught not to hit boys.
As a result, there are girls who grow up thinking that they can hit the opposite sex as much as they want because they know there won’t be ramifications, because boys won’t dare lay a hand on them.
I understand to some extent why this rule exists- males do tend to be physically stronger than females, especially as adults. But unfortunately there are girls and women who abuse this rule.

My first ever relationship. He was much older than me (9 years difference) we were about to live together. He started to mess with my head. For example he hid something like a jar or a cup and tried to tell me that i put it there, trying to make me sound crazy "are you sure it was there when you last saw it? I saw you putting it somewhere else" etc then it escalated to him breaking things and then trying to blame me "it wouldnt fell if you put it correctly, its your fault, you didnt close the fridge door" if you forget one more time im gonna hit you, etc. I knew i didnt do these things but he wouldnt talk to me for days if i wouldnt take the blame, apologise and make up to him. He was ghastlightning me in literal sense. I started to thing that im going crazy, that i have memory problems and so on. One day when he was drunk he told me with a genuine smile on his face that "he just loves making me cry and seeing me hurt and confused and crying brings him so much happiness that he cant even describe the feeling". I just stood there mouth open, shocked while he went to bed and at that moment it clicked for me you have to get out of here. The next day i broke it up with him, he went to my job basically begging me to come back and i asked him "do you truly regret how did you treated me and will apologize to me?" At a second, he stopped "crying" got up from his kness, his face totally emotionless and said nothing. "Then its over you can go now, i wont let you make my cry everyday go find another victim" and he left. That was my first ever relationship i was really scarred after that, was terrified of people especially men. I couldnt trust people, i was shut down for 4 years after that. Didnt talk to anyone. I still have trust issues but im in a really wonderful relationship now and now i cry sometimes but from happiness

I was accidentally the crazy ex. A guy I was seeing while I was in nursing school was pretty adamantly non-religious (we agreed on that) and felt uncomfortable around people who were very religious. Fine with me, i like philosophical discussions but i ultimately don't have a dog in that race. One day he's helping me study flashcard for an exam, and I'm super sick with a sinus and ear infection so I can't really hear and my brain feels like pudding. He suddenly asks me to explain how catholicism works, i guessed because my family is catholic and he was raised a different religion, and I was surprised but explained what I remembered from my childhood. He gave me a super weird look, like sooo uncomfortable, and I reassure him that we don't have to talk about it anymore if he doesn't want to, and ask him to do another flashcard. After that I don't hear from him for weeks, he blocks me on everything. I'm bummed and confused but figured it was his business and moved on. Years later, a mutual acquaintance tells me about how his buddy (the same guy) had told him about a crazy girl who tried to convert him into catholicism and it weirded him out. I ask for more details. Turned out he had asked the girl (me) to explain *CATHETERIZATION*, a very common medical procedure, from my study flashcard, and I had just started spouting off about salvation and Satan and repentance and noped out. Ooops.

This was a friend but I had to nope out. I kind of got the feeling he wanted a relationship though. Mainly because he would want to spend the night and spoon. I never made a move because I thought we were just friends. He had a fight with his family over keeping his little dog and I offered to let him split rent and move in with me and my cousin. I said we can throw out the couch since its old and put a bed downstairs because there were only two rooms. He said can't I sleep with you in your bed. I said ok, I used to sleep in my bed with my best friend so I didn't think it was a big deal. I asked him to take me to Walmart to pay something and to buy some window fluid for my car. He said, give me the money and I'll go pay while you look for the fluid. I didn't really like that since it's my money and my bill but I said ok sure. He came back and gave me the money because the place to pay was closed and I counted it and put it back in my pocket. He flipped nutz that I didn't trust him. I pointed out I just offered to let him move into my own room and I always count money when i get it, I was a cashier for many years and it is habit besides if someone makes a mistake and I don't catch it until later then it will make needless static. Anyway he yelled at me in Walmart walked out super fast and I refused to walk faster to catch up, he dropped me off, yelled again, got his dog and left. He had been my only ride to work so I had to quit to find something closer and a few months later he had the nerve to say I should have called him for help instead of quit. Sure. Like I would beg his crazy azz to pick me up when he has anger issue and is much bigger than me. And I am not small. He was both very tall and muscular and I am not putting myself into the position to be beaten.

Had an ex that ruin her own (NEW) car on purpose by putting diesel in the gas tank, drove it to work (we both work in the same place) and waited for me to come out. When I finally walked out, she came running to me asking me to take a look at her car. I didn't know what was wrong with it. Didn't want to start up and ended up giving her a ride home. She was trying to start something by holding my hand when I drop her off. Didn't find out about the gas until she called me to me the status on her car (as if I'm paying for the fucking thing) and that's when she said the mechanic found diesel in the tank. 2. I told him that my mom wanted to have a family trip just her me and my siblings and he told me i wasnt allowed to go and if i did we would break up.
    3. On christmas eve we were at his grandparents and i got a message on Instagram from my best friends brother who replied to my political story saying how he agreed with it and my bf sees it and starts screaming im a whore, cheater, slut and pulls a knife on himself in front of his grandma.
    4. I asked him if i could take a fun road trip with my best friend to the beach (he was asleep when i texted him the question) at 4am my mom comes into my room telling me he called my mom 6 times and then saw 20 threatening texts on my phone from him saying I wasnt allowed to go blah blah blah. He also called my best friend screaming at her. He called me screaming at me as well.
    5. He got jealous of my mom bc she has a successful career and work and struggled to get to the point shes at now and he started calling her names and saying horrible stuff bc he grew up in a bad home (my mom grew up in a bad home too)
I was with him through all of this over a year of this. But him calling my mom at 4am and screaming at my best friend over the phone was my limit. I ended it with him the next day.

Plus he knew all his coworkers, I had to start over. He also criticized every. single. thing I did, from my appearance to how I cooked in the microwave. Hw was slowly driving me nuts and killing my self esteem. As my health began to decline and he was completely insensitive and did nothing to help me around the house or with our pets, it was clear he wasn't the person he represented himself to be before we lived together and he had me far from home and isolated. He knew I had health problems and may need to stop working eventually, but then he said if I didn't work he would leave me. So I called his bluff and left him first. I'd been miserable for a long time, and he gave me my excuse and the courage to call home and ask for helping moving back. My dad was on a plane the next morning and we drove my car towing a small U-Haul. Best thing I ever could have done for myself, and for my Mom who missed me as much as I missed her those 5 years away. It's SO GOOD that these people read the signs. I've known people realise that the other person has serious mental issues and STILL MARRY THEM. Guess what, it does NOT lead to happiness. On this, I've known people really close to me and it's terrible all round.

Dated a guy for awhile who told me it wasn't right for a woman to be intelligent. I wasn't about to stifle who I was, and he didn't like it. Broke it off, and nearly 20 years later married the right guy, one who loves the fact that I'm intelligent, and we've been married almost 25 years.

Aye the girl that wanted to do it in the woods prolly just wanted to be in control of her trauma. It's not uncommon to try and recreate the situations we were in to get over them.

Worshipped Corey Taylor from Slipknot like he was God. Like no joke literal worshipping the man. I mean I like Slipknot and Stone Sour as much as the next guy but there has to be a limit on how diehard someone should be as a fan.

Just to be clear I’m the crazy one(I have ptsd and highly functioning sociopath) and I have always been clear with anyone that I date that I’m not dangerous but I do have issues.
My now wife then possible girlfriend went to a Comic-Con with her family (her family has known me for years and know I have issues)
Part her costume had a corset as part of it. she must have tightened it to much, because she couldn’t breathe.
I grabbed her and pulled her behind a curtain to cut her loose while giving her some levels of Montasy.
Unfortunately he dad say me pull her behind a curtain and stormed over to break it up only to find me sawing through her costume. I was on the group with a torn rotator cuff😅.
Luckily she explained what happened and know she complains in a joking way that I spent too much time with her father

Went on a second date with a guy I kinda liked...I knew he had a criminal record but he "didn't want to talk about it". I had a weird feeling about it so I did a quick search..... yep. Something about using a computer to entice a minor. On the sex offender registry. That was it. (I had a young child who hadn't met him yet but he knew I was a single mother)

Dated a woman for about a month. After a lot of communication and dates we decided to take things further by becoming physical in the best sense of the word. The night comes and we're both ready. I forgot the condoms and left them in the other room. When I mention this she responds by saying. "It doesn't matter, I don't care if I get pregnant."
Instant reevaluation of plans and did not go all the way with her that night or in the future. I mean, if a woman is that flippant about getting pregnant she's either trying to trap you or has the intelligence of a mentally challenge Koala bear.
    I noped out soon after.

Anyone else think the communal space story got a wrong rating? If my community communal area was completely in use I'd be upset too considering its for residents to use and if they don't have access that to more than just a corner the party is probably too big for the area. Communal doesn't mean you can claim the whole area. One grill should be enough, taking both is ridiculous.
