I'm not a 50mm guy. My favorite old DX lens is the 12-24/F4. A really nice lens for Nikon DX cameras. I still own it and I would like to adapt it to MFT. Unfortunately there is only one AF adapter but without focal reducer available and I don't know if it works properly on the G9-II. This would make it an 12-24/F4 - so no competition to what I already have in MFT. A speed booster would make it a 8.5-17/F2.8 and this looks interesting. But all the focal reducers for Nikon F to MFT are without AF and I don't want to do all this to get a manual focus lens. I think now with PDAF in the G9-II and GH7 there is a small time window to develop an Nikon F adapter with AF and focal reducer. I would probably buy one.
Definitely a good lens to go for. I am currently searching for a 35mm f2 option for Nikon full frame. I still have a soft spot for dslr lenses even though I use mirrorless a little more.
