Enquanto estudante de línguas, considero as palavras que podem significar muitas coisas diferentes as mais difíceis. Durante muito tempo, pensei que "mesmo" era usado ao acaso.
Entendo perfeitamente.. 😌 what helps me is getting lots of exposure to the language and hearing those words several times in different contexts. After sometime, it could be months, I get a feel for what the word means and can use it in some contexts even though I can’t quite directly translate it into my mother tongue 😀
There are two ways to say this sentence according to level of formality of the situation: - O preto fica-te muito bem (informal) - O preto fica-lhe muito bem (formal) We have another video explaining this topic that you might like to watch: th-cam.com/video/cdmdZ6Dqf-k/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps! ☺️
TH-cam lets you slow down the video, if you want to. Click the "Settings" gear icon at the bottom of the video, then "Playback Speed" and choose a speed slower than 1. I hope this helps!
Most people teaching Portuguese on TH-cam speak slower, it's true. But it's much more useful once you reach a certain stage in your learning to have someone speaking at this kind of speed as that is much closer to what you might expect to hear in return when speaking reasonable Portuguese - especially if you do so outside tourist areas. I found it a pleasant change as the slow-speaking teachers are still available, but this gives me more chance to understand news broadcasts (which are at a similar speed but without sub-titles!).
@@MikeWal2 I find it difficult to understand when they speak so fast as I'm old...there's another site I watch which speak the sentence 3 times ...in Portuguese but slowly so I get it then the last sentence normal speed
This is much too fast for those of us who are just starting to learn European Portuguese. There isn't enough time to read both the Portuguese and the English sentences. Please give the viewer time to absorb the material. Your other videos are much easier to follow.
Olá 👋 I can appreciate your point, but to be honest we try to cater for different levels, not just beginners. Even the content isn’t ideal for someone who has just started their Portuguese journey. However, we believe it’s always good to challenge oneself, so you’re still able to watch this video but you can slow the speed using the TH-cam settings on the video ☺️
You’re the best when it comes to listening exercises. Thank you for posting videos. Very helpful for me and nobody does them like you do

TH-cam has options to decrease or increase the video speed.
She actually doesn't compared to most natives. Plus you can control the speed of the videos in the settings menu.
